posted a message on How many packs is everyone getting?

25, I really didn't like the last meta so I was really late for saving up gold for packs. I'm usually satisfied with whatever cards I get just from the gold saved so I've never really preordered an expansion.

I like how not many people are freaking out about the idea that if you play a Loatheb somewhere before you play this Shaman card, you can literally make whatever Jades you have developed during the Battlecry, immune to almost all board clears.

Yeah I've already considered so many incredible options for my current N'zoth shaman deck. I already have N'zoth and two stonehills in the deck. The second I saw this I thought Loatheb, and then I'm also planning on adding Hagatha to the deck. So if this card is real, my current deck optimally will be able to get a full board, a clear (that won't kill the board I just made), 2 random taunts to my hand, and locks my opponent from dealing with what I just played.
If this card is real, it could actually make N'zoth shaman and Jade Shaman in wild insane. And I'm sure there are tons of other battlecry decks that would be crazy with this card. I personally think this card is real given the art and Mike Donais implying that this and the rogue legendary have a similar effect, but if it is real then shaman is getting at least one tier 1 deck in one of the game modes.

Art looks real, and hearthstoney. Shaman legendary seems in line with what Mike Donais stated. If this is true then this goes straight into my wild N'zoth shaman, and the only battlecries I have in my deck are N'zoth, stonehills, and Hagatha

posted a message on Hagatha the Witch

One thing that I just realized, is that with this card, Hallazeal the Ascended could actually be really good in shaman control decks again (in wild ofc). He saw a little play in control shaman from WotOG to around the beginning of Ungoro, and with Hagatha generating more spells to use with him, he becomes a lot more useful. He was difficult to build around since while cards like EleD are powerful with him, he wasn't powerful enough to use up a cardslot simply on the basis that it would synergize with Hallazeal.
But now we can get tons of spells that we don't have to sacrifice a cardslot for, most of which can synergize with Hallazeal. You still might want to save him up for a big EleD turn, but you also have the option to use him with one of your many other cards if possible. It adds more flexibility and it gives you more reasons than just a few select board clears to play Hallazeal in your deck.

It looks like they just... copied Chromaggus's effect but limited it to minions.  I mean, on first glance yeah it looks really powerful, but I'm still kind of disappointed. Couldn't they have done something a little bit new?

A powerful late game win condition (which I'm hoping we get with Hagatha). Also hoping for some more deathrattle synergy. The Reincarnate effect has been criminally underused.

Hopefully not, I'm still traumatized by the haunting echoes of what felt like an eternity of literally nothing but mid-range Shaman.^^

How about nothing but control shaman? Hagatha is an 8-mana hero card, which implies a control win condition. If that's any indication of the direction they're taking shaman next expansion, we might get to see a good control shaman deck again!
Either way I'm gonna keep my N'zoth Shaman ready, Hagatha looks pretty deathrattle-y if you ask me.

I think so. Apparently every class is getting two legendaries as usual, but only shaman's getting a new hero card. I think that means that we're gonna see several of the past legendary types distributed among the rest of the classes.
