YourPrivateNightmare posted a message on Class exclusive, tribe synergy cards.Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from YogoWafelPL >>Hey everyone,
This is a subject that I've been thinking about ever since BRM and TGT were released. In these sets, we've seen class exclusive cards that synergize with a given tribe, like dragon consort, alexstrasza's champion etc. . My question is: What's the point of giving many different classes different synergy cards? I think they should be either allowed to be played by every class, or they should've just stuck to one class and go with it. Instead we have dragon paladin that lacks early game, or we have dragon priest that lacks the dragon consort card which propably would've made dragon decks a real, competitive thing, if it was available to everyone. All of this just makes me angry because of all the wasted potential.
Balance reasons obviously. Imagine Murloc Knight in Zoolock, Imagine Dragon Consort in Dragon-Druid with all the innervates and mana ramp.Class specific synergy cards are usually way more powerful than most neutral cards, because they are supposed to represent a unique strength. Also, just because Dragon Paladin doesn't work now (which I don't even think is entirely true), who says that won't change with the next adventure we#re getting at some point this year? Also, Dragon Priest was pretty op when Velen's was still aroundThe problem with Dragon decks is that Blizzard didn#t really think about what they need, so Priest was the only class who got a dragonrelated 1-drop and therefore was the only class who could really make a dragon-centric deck work well...and then he even got wyrmrest Agent as well. -

nobody really knows how it works, but you are matched by "level", whatever it means. The most likely version is it by skill/winrate for the most part. But basically you'll need to play really aggressive decks when f2p for quite some time.

if you don't play arena you'll never be good enough to average 5 wins or more, you have to practice.
