Really, you shouldn't be depending on crackle killing 4-5 health creatures, it can sometimes pull it off, but it's real value in my experience is softening big creatures. Then, the higher the damage you roll from it, the less creatures you have to sacrifice to finish it off.

Any particular reason you don't use Whirling Zap-O-Matic? Seems like he would provide perfect synergy with Powermace, Flametongue and Bloodlust...

Anti synergy? Mortal Coil can snipe something that has 1 health to ensure Cannon hits for two damage. Besides, happening at the end of your turn makes Fel Cannon much more reliable in the first place:
Imagine how much Ragnaros would lose popularity if it at the start of your turn.
