posted a message on How do you prefer to name your decks? Share some cool names!

All of my decks have puns or cultural references as names.

For example, I have 3 Dragon decks (Priest, Paladin and Warrior), which are named : Dragonborn, Dragon Age and Dracarys (and yes, it was far before a "Dracarys" dragon deck got promoted on this site !).

I guess all of you can see where those come from. :D

My Raptor Rogue is named Jurassic Park and my Deathrattle Hunter is The Walking Dead. I'm always having a good time picking up names for my decks. But hey I'm a Timmy and I only play fun decks (most of them are not even Tier 3) in Wild. :D

Btw my choices of cardback is very important too : always choose a cardback that's beautiful and fits the theme of the deck !

posted a message on Nerfs to basic cards

So the excuse for the Innervate, Hex and Fiery War Axe nerfs are that they are auto-include in their respective classes.

We're not here to talk about how Blizzard is just denying all of their good old "class identity" stuff (that served as an excuse for the last two years) but I just want to point out that we can now expect nerfs to these cards :

Swipe, Animal Companion, Kill Command, Houndmaster, Frostbolt, Fireball, Flamestrike, Consecration, Truesilver Champion, Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Word: Death, Backstab, Sap, Flametongue Totem, Execute.

You may disagree with some but can't deny that these cards are in almost every deck of their classes. I'm not even talking about the Classic set ...

Blizzard already managed to make the Basic set almost useless (except Novice Engineer and Acidic Swamp Ooze, that see some play), because, you know, it's free.

Just want to point out the hypocrisy here : all classes have auto-include cards. The 3 cards nerfed are not worse offenders than the others. And we even can see that Druid, Shaman and Warrior are not the classes with the most auto-include cards.

Most of all : the nerfs destroy every Druid and Warrior archetype but Jade and Pirate, that will probably survive it (and Jade Druid will stay dominant).

All of Blizzard excuses for nerfing these cards (and not the real problematic ones) are lies and contradict everything they said for the last 2 years.

posted a message on Discuss the Nerf - Innervate

Just look at the facts :

    - Innervate is now completely unplayable. No discussion here.
    - Jade Druid still has broken cards.
    - Every other Druid archetype is now dead.

Exactly like the Fiery War Axe nerf, they just completely destroyed any Druid archetype BUT the problematic one.

    Good job Blizzard.

Ok, so every current Druid deck is now unplayable ... except Jade Druid.

And every Warrior deck is now utterly thrash ... except Pirate Warrior.

Oh, and the Jade Druid counters have now been nerfed.

    Great job Blizzard, as always.

posted a message on Ultimate Infestation... needs to be changed

The problem is not Jade Idol, or Ultimate Infestation, not even Gadgetzan Auctioneer. The only problem is the Jade Druid archetype. So don't attack good cards that could allow other archetypes (Quest Druid, Medivh Druid) to be somewhat viable because the Meta Deck runs it. Jade Druid was already a good deck in Un'Goro meta, and even back in MSoG meta.

Instead of asking for a nerf like babies always do, better ask for better cards for the other classes. And some of them really do need good new cards.

For once, Blizzard makes a good late game card, and people manage to complain about it.

Instead of nerfing this card, I'd like the other classes to have similar late game value (and not the crap we're now used to get in every expansion).

But hey I guess everybody here like the full aggro meta.

posted a message on Why is Lilian Voss so bad?

I play a lot of Burgle Rogue in Wild since Burgle came out (so it's been a long time), I opened Lilian Voss as one of my first legendaries in KFT and immediately tried her in this deck.

She's awful. Terrible. Like one of the worst cards of the set. It's practically a 4 mana 4/5 with a HUGE drawback. Even with 5/5 stats she'd still be bad.

So if she's so bad in a deck where she's supposed to shine, imagine in a Miracle deck where she absolutely does not belong ...

It is most certainly not a win more card, having a 1/1 or a totem on the board does not mean youre winning.
Yeah, how many Mages, Hunters, Druid, Rogues, Warrior, Warlocks and Priests have 1/1's or Totems on the board?
Yes, it is a better card in Shaman and Paladin because they can just generate a minion to buff right away. Other classes on a clear board look at this in hand and just feelsbadman...
A card that is mostly good when you are ahead on board, even or board, or even slightly behind on board, is a win-more card...
Not at all. Learn what a win-more card is before spreading this nonsense.

Playing in Wild, zero card in this set will make the cut (but hey it's like almost any expansion).

I just don't know about the DK Valeera. Can't judge like that, must try it out. Will be fun for sure.

But the other cards are absolutely useless unplayable thrash outside of Arena and Standard Tier 4 decks.

On the other hand, Arena Rogue got another buff, ahah.

     Exactly this.
Although Shadowblade is a good card in itself and Doomerang could build up some T3 Weapon Rogue. Maybe.
I agree, they are decent cards, but not enough to be played in competitive decks.
