You should go see a doctor about the problems you're having with your brain. There is zero logic in anything you're saying.

TheDarksider posted a message on Blizzard Responds: Kargal Battlescar Dust Refund SoonPosted in: NewsAnd why exactly are you crying? Even if your logic were to make some sense (where Kargal and Watch Posts aren't intrinsically connected), there's still no harm being done here, only benefits. I think you're just jealous because you don't have a Kargal of your own to dust....

xskarma posted a message on Can't edit decksPosted in: Site Feedback & SupportOkay thanks a lot for the answer, could you post the news somewhere whenever you find a fix ?
This should now be fixed. :)

xskarma posted a message on Can't edit decksPosted in: Site Feedback & SupportHi there,
I am probably not the only one with this problem : basic/classic cards seem to have been removed from Hearthspwn deck builder, and it creates a bug when I want to edit my decks. The basic/classic cards disappeared from the decks and, most importantly, I cannot edit anything, it just blocks on a never-ending grey loading screen with Pacman (kinda).
Is there a fix planned ?
We are aware of this issue. Hopefully will be fixed as soon as we can.
It got introduced when we tried to solve the problem of having triple versions of cards in the Deck Builder.
Unfortunately the fix seems to have been worse than the initial situation. >.< -

hawkin90 posted a message on Random Value Generation will STILL be a problem in StandardPosted in: General DiscussionI play Hearthstone mainly for the RNG and wacky shit, I love discover, might be unpopular here, I don't know. There will be classic now for those who want a more predictable game mode, so that's good.

TuesdayTaco posted a message on This Week's Nerfs Postponed Till Patch 20.0 Later This MonthPosted in: NewsI am going to give you a sobering fact that is going to be hard for you to swallow: Ben Brode's departure from the game was a freaking godsend. I was around when Giantslock happened, and it took EIGHT FUCKING MONTHS for them to finally come around to nerf the goddamn Naga Sea Witch. That happened under Ben Brode's tenure, and it was nerfed right before he left Blizzard. Other players who have been around for a long time can attest to my statement that nerfs to certain cards took a similarly long time for the team to get around to.
To give you an idea, the Hysteria rework came around after only a week. Do you have ANY idea how Ben Brode may have addressed it? We still might have had that goddamn Tiller/Hysteria combo around.

x0chipilli posted a message on Nobody talking about Ysera nerfPosted in: General DiscussionSo unfortunately Old Ysera is getting nerfed and it’s confirmed here:
https://mobile.twitter.com/Celestalon/status/1365107075383107584
But we are getting a dust refund and that is confirmed as well:
https://mobile.twitter.com/GW_Alec/status/1365329751993327623
To everyone that said this didn’t deserve (warrant?) a refund, do you still think that? Did Glinda not deserve (warrant?) a refund when they nerfed keyword Echo?

x0chipilli posted a message on Nobody talking about Ysera nerfPosted in: General DiscussionThis thread is amazing. I don't know that I've ever seen an argument where both sides are quite this wrong.
Ysera doesn't need a dust refund. Yes, the card is getting worse, but that's only because you're getting a better version of the card for free, alongside the entire core set. Old Ysera is still a Wild playable card, you don't get refunds for cards rotating.
Yes, Ysera has gotten nerfed. The card is worse now. That is what a nerf is. The precedent is to get dust from nerfs, but that doesn't apply here for reasons said above. If the Animal Companions were changed and they now had the same stats as Demon Companions, Animal Companion would unambiguously be being nerfed. If there was a Bear Tamer card with Battlecry: Summon an Ironfur Grizzly and Ironfur Grizzly was changed to be a 0 mana 0/3 Beast with Taunt for whatever reason, Bear Tamer would've gotten nerfed. Stop being deliberately dense. You don't put Ysera in your deck as a 4/12 Dragon, you put it in your deck as a 4/12 Dragon that puts a powerful card in your hand, and the cards she puts in your hand are now worse.
I think an important distinction that needs to be made is that you are not exactly getting the card for free, you are getting to use the card for free. Until they decide it rotates. You can’t dust it, akin to the Halloween old gods event the year before last. It’s essentially a free rental.
why should getting a new card keep you from getting refunded for the old one? I don’t understand this logic even if you were getting a card you could dust. They’re still different cards.
All this said I don’t care about the dust at all, I would prefer the card left alone if possible.

All of my decks have puns or cultural references as names.
For example, I have 3 Dragon decks (Priest, Paladin and Warrior), which are named : Dragonborn, Dragon Age and Dracarys (and yes, it was far before a "Dracarys" dragon deck got promoted on this site !).
I guess all of you can see where those come from. :D
My Raptor Rogue is named Jurassic Park and my Deathrattle Hunter is The Walking Dead. I'm always having a good time picking up names for my decks. But hey I'm a Timmy and I only play fun decks (most of them are not even Tier 3) in Wild. :D
Btw my choices of cardback is very important too : always choose a cardback that's beautiful and fits the theme of the deck !

So the excuse for the Innervate, Hex and Fiery War Axe nerfs are that they are auto-include in their respective classes.
We're not here to talk about how Blizzard is just denying all of their good old "class identity" stuff (that served as an excuse for the last two years) but I just want to point out that we can now expect nerfs to these cards :
Swipe, Animal Companion, Kill Command, Houndmaster, Frostbolt, Fireball, Flamestrike, Consecration, Truesilver Champion, Northshire Cleric, Power Word: Shield, Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Word: Death, Backstab, Sap, Flametongue Totem, Execute.
You may disagree with some but can't deny that these cards are in almost every deck of their classes. I'm not even talking about the Classic set ...
Blizzard already managed to make the Basic set almost useless (except Novice Engineer and Acidic Swamp Ooze, that see some play), because, you know, it's free.
Just want to point out the hypocrisy here : all classes have auto-include cards. The 3 cards nerfed are not worse offenders than the others. And we even can see that Druid, Shaman and Warrior are not the classes with the most auto-include cards.
Most of all : the nerfs destroy every Druid and Warrior archetype but Jade and Pirate, that will probably survive it (and Jade Druid will stay dominant).
All of Blizzard excuses for nerfing these cards (and not the real problematic ones) are lies and contradict everything they said for the last 2 years.

Just look at the facts :
- Innervate is now completely unplayable. No discussion here.
- Jade Druid still has broken cards.
- Every other Druid archetype is now dead.
Exactly like the Fiery War Axe nerf, they just completely destroyed any Druid archetype BUT the problematic one.
Good job Blizzard.

Ok, so every current Druid deck is now unplayable ... except Jade Druid.
And every Warrior deck is now utterly thrash ... except Pirate Warrior.
Oh, and the Jade Druid counters have now been nerfed.
Great job Blizzard, as always.

The problem is not Jade Idol, or Ultimate Infestation, not even Gadgetzan Auctioneer. The only problem is the Jade Druid archetype. So don't attack good cards that could allow other archetypes (Quest Druid, Medivh Druid) to be somewhat viable because the Meta Deck runs it. Jade Druid was already a good deck in Un'Goro meta, and even back in MSoG meta.
Instead of asking for a nerf like babies always do, better ask for better cards for the other classes. And some of them really do need good new cards.
3
For once, Blizzard makes a good late game card, and people manage to complain about it.
Instead of nerfing this card, I'd like the other classes to have similar late game value (and not the crap we're now used to get in every expansion).
But hey I guess everybody here like the full aggro meta.

I play a lot of Burgle Rogue in Wild since Burgle came out (so it's been a long time), I opened Lilian Voss as one of my first legendaries in KFT and immediately tried her in this deck.
She's awful. Terrible. Like one of the worst cards of the set. It's practically a 4 mana 4/5 with a HUGE drawback. Even with 5/5 stats she'd still be bad.
So if she's so bad in a deck where she's supposed to shine, imagine in a Miracle deck where she absolutely does not belong ...

Playing in Wild, zero card in this set will make the cut (but hey it's like almost any expansion).
I just don't know about the DK Valeera. Can't judge like that, must try it out. Will be fun for sure.
But the other cards are absolutely useless unplayable thrash outside of Arena and Standard Tier 4 decks.
On the other hand, Arena Rogue got another buff, ahah.
