Apart from killing you outright turn 4-5 in Wild, with no minions on board, full board for your oppenent, running two copies of it, and pretty much nothing you can do to counter it, not much other use...

I guess we gotta wait for another year, or until it is 2-3 weeks away 2024 rotation, we might see something just like Goldshire Gnoll Grey Sage Parrot

iceRNGER posted a message on Quest Hunter: Why on Earth?Posted in: Card DiscussionI have been playing Hearthstone since beta. The most brutally insufferable deck of all time has to be machine gun priest. Fast forward to today. Someone thought it would be a good idea to make machine gun hunter which is much faster… why on earth?!

Call to nerf decks to the ground.
The fact that people will always complain about the top deck does not mean the top deck should never be nerfed.
Anytime a deck has only one or two truly bad matchups in the meta, it's a real problem. Such is the case with Questline Warrior.

zynessa posted a message on Which nerf is more likely for pirate warrior quest? vote.Posted in: General DiscussionI'm not sure why you guys are bringing up legend so much. Most people aren't legend, and HS as a game has never been balanced around legend either, not primarily. If something is fine in Legend but feels miserable for everyone else, it gets hit. It really is that simple. The goal of nerfs is not game balance per se, but fun for the core playerbase. Sometimes, they're the same thing. Sometimes, they're not.

XanKortal posted a message on Which nerf is more likely for pirate warrior quest? vote.Posted in: General DiscussionAh yes. Because "grinding from bronze up to legend" isn't a thing that happens, which matters for determining how good a deck is or isn't for climbing.
Also, if you want to only use top level as a metric? Worlds is going on right now, and Nalguidan is one of the players who brought Quest Warrior, and has yet to lose with said deck.
The other player to bring the deck, Frenetic, only sported one win one loss with the deck, before he was elimimated (and most of his losses were with alignment druid). Meaning at 2021 worlds, Quest Warrior has a 4 win, 1 loss record to date, which seems to be a pretty flipping good ratio for the top players to sport.

In legend of is tier 2
Because when slogging through 1,000 Pirate Quest Warriors in a month up the ladder, it's obviously the Legend rank win-rate that I care about. /S

Tier... 2?
*checks HSREPLAY*
You sure? They're showing it as the #2 deck, right behind Libram Paladin.

What tier it is doesn't really matter. When 90% of my matches in wild PLAT freakin' 5 are Pirate warrior, clearly the deck has become a problem.
I've even had to resort to using pirates myself just so I can rank up. It feels gross and dirty doing so but sometimes metas leave you no choice. Pirates at the very least need the nerf. Pronto.
To be honest, i didn't even consider Wild.
However, is it really the quest that is broken or is it the tempo pirates, with the quest just being the cherry on top?
The problem is that the deck has insane early game and infinite value from turn 5-6. You can outheal and outvalue other aggro decks like shadow priest, odd dh or aggro druid but you cant do that against the Juggernaut. The first reward gives them Ancharr consistently and the second reward is a big deal against other board based decks when they already have insane tempo. The deck was already tier 1 before Deadmines but the mini-set gave them their new best 3-drop and a very strong finisher in the form of Mr. Smite.
To be honest, the deck is beatable but there is a good reason why is it so popular in wild. IMO it should be nerfed by making the quest progression slower. I see that OP suggested a 3/3/3 change, but I would like a 4/3/2 version better.

The issue with editing decks is back! :(
I "solved" it by re-making all my buggy decks, but I guess the new Core set rotation made a mess with existing decks. Even ones that worked perfectly last week are now impossible to edit.

Hi there,
I am probably not the only one with this problem : basic/classic cards seem to have been removed from Hearthspwn deck builder, and it creates a bug when I want to edit my decks. The basic/classic cards disappeared from the decks and, most importantly, I cannot edit anything, it just blocks on a never-ending grey loading screen with Pacman (kinda).
Is there a fix planned ?

I'd go for Malfurion too, probably the best option here.

Brightwing is one of the least important cards of the deck so you can replace it with anything (preferably a dragon).
No Strength in Numbers so no Embiggen, and I feel Alexstrasza is useless in this deck.

The fact that in Wild, DH manages to be strong without any Wild card and, worse, without any NEUTRAL card (same in Standard) says a lot about the class.

Didn't unpack it yet :'( I will definitely try it when (if) I do.

Hello Gunnolf, and thank you for once again a fun and consistent Wild deck.
I have 2 questions for you and I hope you can answer.
- Isn't Zul'jin an interesting card for this deck ?
- Is Houndmaster Shaw really good here ? I have had a disappointing expercience with him so far.

Tried it. It's like an aura, Kingsbane will NOT keep the Lifesteal enchantment. All hail Antique Healbot.

I think it works like an aura and not a weapon buff. I hope not, but if so the Kingsbane would not keep the enchantment.

If I had a golden Deathwing, I would absolutely play it. Sick card, sick art, sick entry.
