That's right, however, I prefer Tar Creeper in most situations, since it does not only protects you, but it protects your other minions as well, making your opponent take clunky decisions to deal with it.
Eviscerate is great for many things, although right now I'm testing Tar Creeper instead of it, and I've been getting pretty good results. The idea of this is to deal better against aggro (dealing with up to 3 minions with 1 Tar Creeper). Aiming for more survivability while sacrificing some burst.
I also think Sap is one of the best removals right now, so I'm definitely running x2 of it. It's a pretty cheap way to make a free way to hit face with a board of spiders or Kingsbane while also being a solid defensive tool.
That's a tough matchup even with a lot of board clears, because the refill the board easily while you have to set-up your Kingsbane and Fal'dorei Strider, but with x2 Tar Creeper and x2 Fan of Knives you should be able to deal against them consistently enough before getting Kingsbane ready, and then Blade Flurry and Vanish will be there for the mid/late-game.
It's to focus more on the late-game, a change on my vision of the deck after the release of the expansion. I haven't felt too motivated to write lately, sorry for that.
Yeah, that's the issue with not only Baku Paladin but also Genn Paladin. Even if we dessigned the deck a little better for both kinds of Paladin matchups while sacrificing the performing for other matchups I think we would still find it pretty hard to win against them unless we made an almost completely different deck.
lol really? I guessed you were going to say it's an insta loss against Paladin or Hunter, which is true in my case, but actually I feel this deck is a counter for Shudder Shaman because of the constant pressure with spiders and while hitting hard with Kingsbane; shamans let you both buff your weapon well and set a big ammount of spiders.
Honestly, I've faced more than 15 shamans last 2 days and I haven't lost against any of them, they seem to not complete the combo. However, against Hunter I have only won 1 game against a Quest Hunter, but lost against aggro hunters. Although apparently that has been common with most Rogue decks since the release of the game. Against paladins it's almost impossible to win too, specially against Odd Paladin, but that deck seems to be very powerful against everything.
Other matchups have been generally pretty favorable except for secret mage, but not as oppressive as Aggro Hunter or Odd Paladin, and Cubelock has been around 50% winrate for me.
Well, the secrets are not bad, it's just that there isn't a decent control Rogue deck where those secrets fit. They're more for a super defensive playstyle for which Rogue has not enough determinant cards to play.
I hope we get some good weapon buff with this expansion now that the pirates are rotating.
1. In order to survive against aggro and burst decks Leeching Poison is essential, so playing 2 copies of it increases greatly the chances of getting it early.
2. You can try that copy of Arcane Giant since both cards are somewhat similar, however, if you get the chance to craft the second Fal'dorei Strider I really encourage you to do it. It's much better than Arcane Giant as you can use it earlier and it's generally a better body, 4-mana 16/16 stats worth vs usually 4~8/mana 8/8 that is Arcane Giant.

This looks preeeetty cool

The most important thing is that you enjoy the deck. I hope that you start getting better results soon.

I just hit rank 2 with it :D.
There's this other similar cool Kingsbane deck you can check:
In the showcase video of the deck it says its winrate was 80% from rank 3 to legend.

Cool version! I have a very similar one.

Nice suggestion, have to try it.

Generally you'd like to play it with Preparation, not sure where you find it hard to play, haha.

Yeah, I'd recommend to replace it for a 2nd Fan of Knives in order to perform better against Paladins and Token Druids.

If you don't have Captain Greenskin you could try this version which promotes Sonya Shadowdancer instead. I guess you may be interested.
Shadowdancing Mill Rogue
It's always cool to see new approaches on Miracle or Mill decks.
