Well Spellslinger saw play in tempo mage, it's effect was totally random, and sometimes it fucked you as this probably will sometimes do when you play it
Here we have a neutral version of that card, where you can at least control which cards are added to both players, not who gets each one, but it isn't completely rng. this could see play.
I can see salty clips out of this card coming, btw it's a good way to give trash to your opponent, and overdraw him/her. Is weak, but it may see play just for it.
Keep in mind, it says "add 2 copies of this", so most likely this will keep buffs too if it follows the regular rule of copying cards.
The rules of copying cards to your hand give you the normal minion, not a buffed version. If this card is consistent with other cards, it won't keep buffs.
If you copy a card from board to hand, yes, it loses buffs. If I remember correctly, the explanation about keeping or losing buffs was dependent on the direction copy was moving between zones. Zones are deck->hand->board. If it goes forward or stays the same zone, it keeps buffs. If it goes backwards, it loses buffs. So basically, hand to hand copy should retain buffs.
the only real example that we have is Clutchmother Zavas, and it dors not help at all, unless someone could confirm it with a buffed silverware golem, but in this case is not the same interaction
I've just tested with buffed Silverware, it loses buffs since it leaves the play before getting summoned. And yeah, it's not the same interaction, wording is also different.
so, we have to wait until the card comes, or blizzard confirms it

And warlocks get more amazing early game board clears. Wish Blizzard would spread the love a bit. Warlocks already have Defile, so until it rotates, I doubt this card will see much play. When it does rotate however, this card will be amazing. Hell, even with Defile still around, the card is already amazing. Just a solid card. Voting Very Good.
Actually this could see play if Aggro decks take over, especially in a Control Lock that runs Clutchmother Zavas. Defile probably is still a little better, but you could potentially play Shriek into Defile if your opponent has a board of 3 and 4 health minions with no 1s and 2s.
yeah, but, remember to keep a 1 drop in your hand, or the defile would say goodbey to your hand when you play this
I don't care how it goes, I will always give discardlock another try.
other games have a decent discard mechanic, plus, this time blizzard could be understanding how make it better, giving cards that lets the player have more control on what they are discarding
Discarding low costs and pumping them back with imprudente for a later swing turn might be fun. A lot of my issue with discard with always the gamble of discarding the wrong card.
thats exactly the point, i'm not sure, but, the new discard cards could see play just bucause of it. if you are afraid just keep a 1 drop like a kobold librarian in your hand as tribute to be sure you are not loosing a finisher.

this is more like a midrange weapon, agro doesn't want this, even less odd paladin who want to buff minions on board

actually is decents, most of cards that give cards to both players see arena play just for stats and hand refill
