Hey I am coming back with a new idea, since everyone was complaining that Y'Shaarj has no immediate pressure on the board. Theme wise I love this idea to hell and back, but my question is: are the stats and cost balanced? Should I make it cheaper and weaker or more expansive and stronger? Thanks in advance
This is way too strong, IMO. It's strictly better than Leeroy. Maybe a 5 mana 5/2 or 5/3 with the same effect?
Well, anyone would like to add some flavor texts for this C'Thun version of Reno Jackson, some sort of being possessed by C'Thun's mind.
How about these:
Play: We are gonna be... FOREVER!
Attack: It was your fault!
Death: No no no no! Ahahahahhaha...
Effect triggers: Death is close.
This card seems fun as hell, and not too OP because 1) You have to build your deck around it and 2) It can be silenced. Love it. MIGHT be more realistic as a 5/5 (look at Rhonin- which is essentially 9 mana worth of random damage for 3 mana as a DR vs this which is free and probably bigger but less controllable.) But either way I think its fine.
Reposting mine in hopes of feedback. What does everyone think? And I'm not sure what to do with the stats. Maybe have the attack be the same as the attack it gives your hero?
I'd make it a Warrior legendary. It fits the WoW lore well, and really it's probably the only class that could use it fairly.
Not sure if it'd make it OP, but since the heart covered Garrosh in a godly goo coating I could also see it giving armor in addition to attack.
Thanks for the feedback. I made it Warrior, since Rogues would be able to get some absolutely insane value off of it. Because Warriors have many ways to get armor, I'm thinking of not having this card give more.
You can't make it Warrior. The rules say it has to be neutral. Why don't you have it say the number of weapons you've played this game?
I love the idea, but that effect, even if usable only in one kind of deck, is too powerful. Maybe make it +2/+2 aqnd Taunt, so you get a 6-mana body and taunt for 5 in such a situation?
Thanks for the comment!
I actually toyed around a lot between +2/+2, +3/+3, +2/+3, +3/+2, etc. However, I just didn't think that a 1.5 or so mana swing (Since the 6/7 body would be 6 mana, and taunt is generally worth .5 mana) was enough to justify a card that Relies on the actions of your opponent and is just a 5 mana 4/5 in most matchups (plus, quite often you won't be able to play it on Turn 5.)
Compare it to Druid of the Fang (a card that never really saw too much play.) That's an unsilencable 7/7 for 5 mana if you control a beast, and it's a lot easier to get its effect off/more consistent. I don't really think it's all that OP.
I really like this one - it's really rather niche, but it it's strong enough that even when not facing C'Thun it can still be used. My only suggestion is since it's so niche, making it one-class only reduces its potential use even further... maybe consider making it all-class?
Thanks! I actually did consider making it a neutral, but I think it just fits in so well with the paladin theme, functionally and artistically. Plus it might see TOO much play as a neutral?
Hey guys, not new to hearthpwn but new to card creation posts, i started paying attention to these and its such a cool idea! Im sorry if this is a redundant question, i tried looking around but didnt find an answer - where do you guys find the art for these cards? I am an artist and always looking for more inspiration, i have a ton of WoW related art but i havnt seen a good majority of the art in these posts? Where are you guys finding these?

What does Murozond's effect refer to?
Like, if I draw cards via Divine Favor and my opponent plays that, what happens? What if I already played the card?

Wow, honored to see that my card made it! Very cool.

Nice deck dude. I have all of the cards except for Kragg (and I don't have a Gromm.) What do you think would be a good replacement?
