Dark Wispers is missing from the list. I assume it's Tier 5 at this point.
Also Coghammer. That one could be Tier 4...
Sounds great! I too was questioning why were there just the few decklists based on the Lackey strategy of Tekhan. It seems to me, if a deck doesn't reach high legend, it isn't "viable" at all, and doesn't get seen by the wider community. I'm glad you went ahead and made your own substitutions too!
I'm at the point where most things don't tilt or frustrated me in HS right away. At least in constructed (Arena's different). If I'm in the zone, I can predict 2 moves ahead and make different plays as a result. Also another thing is being able to recover from a bad start - mitigating that bad draw RNG to an extent.
Going from Rank 5-Legend does take a bunch of focus and persistence, especially if you haven't done it before. But maybe that's not what you're looking for when you play HS. So I mix it up, going to Wild, and casual to try out new ideas.
Then I play some MtGA, and piss myself off all over again.
I'm not well.
MTG:A has been pissing me off way more than HS: I find myself in situations where I know what they're going to play, it's bad for me and I can't do anything about it (Scapeshift + Field of the Dead, or Reckless Rage into Dreadhorde Arcanist attack into Reckless Rage again). Nothing I can do unless I have some suboptimal tech card for it, which I don't have in collection. With HS I don't really feel like this.
So Innkeeper hasn't updated, yet the Hearthpwn collection is well and truly updated with the incoming cards for Classic/Basic (266/270 in Basic cards it seems). I wonder how we will ever get our collection updated on Hearthpwn now?
Nope, if you survive then they become control, they have Hagatha and get Hex off the top roll. GG
Nice, I got the android ones long ago from my phone and Nox Emulator, but hadn't got the iOS ones. Now got the extra 2 Classic packs and card back!
Being on the receiving end of big mana cheating minion bombs such as playing 4 6 cost minions, or having your board wiped by sticky Rush minions that have deathrattles - no counterplay to that, especially since we're losing a bunch of board clears.
Of course, if you're the one playing it, you get a sudden rush of satisfaction, but this just removes the fine control of trading and value from the game.
There are some outright crappy cards if you are looking for more dust. Something like Arcane Golem. If you are not interested in niche or fun decks, then there are more cards that you could consider dusting. Like will Pilfered Power or Small-Time Recruits ever be useful, or irreplaceable? Most likely not.
Nearly every card has its niche use though, and who knows some cards previously trash could become more playable as extra synergies are printed with each new set. The expensive spell damage minions from the past couple of sets are generally considered trash, but who knows, we're getting more spell damage support this expansion. Still, probably not.
I guess the question is, can I use another card that has a similar effect and is better? Then I probably dust it, unless I want to run both. I'd call Kidnapper trash because of Vilespine Slayer and Sap.
