I think most people, including me, have gotten tired of the game ending quests and high value, mostly uncounterable hero cards and ofc Brann shenanigans. I'd give it a month and ask again, see if those cards rotating out of standard helps. But we ain't gonna know until the meta settles after a couple of weeks.
I'm not entirely hopeful it's gonna change much for the better, I wouldn't be surprised if huge unavoidable burst and otks plague the meta again
If you're on about coming back today, don't. For your own sake, don't.
All in all, those cards ain't too bad. Roaring applause looks like it could be really good in many decks. Voone can at least copy hand/deck buffs too which are more available and better than when rastakhan was out, also far more minions to be affected by his battlecry will just make him more consistent. Power slider looks reliable in the amalgam archetype.
The razorfen rockstar should've been druid's and their armour gain dude should've been warrior's imo. Its not like it'd make absolutely no sense to split those 2 cards among 2 classes either
Pretty much not losing anything that directly synergizes with it, countess and purator are staying, lightray, class action lawyer, elitist snob and order in the court are all still sticking around for another year too.
Pure paladin could very well be one of the top decks after rotation with just what they're keeping. The worst thing for them is losing a couple good draws and Cariel hero (handbuff too, but that's not in all pure decks as it is). And they've already received a good defensive legendary and a decent draw replacements in this expansion already
Everyone thought it was OP, it might've even started at 2 mana, and the 3 mana is a nerf. Either way, that card was DH's best removal at the time of DH being 70% of the meta and receiving multiple day one nerfs. They did have a lot more attack gain back then, but that could come back round again.
I cant remember what the core card was called but there was a 3 mana version of this, (it only hit 3 random minions and didn't buff your attack before) when DH was released and that was absolutely disgusting, so we'll have to see how a wider 5 mana version of it will be. Although this one doesn't work as well with weapons.
I reckon it will be a very solid, but not as broken as the OG
Lady in White, deck of chaos and Luna's Pocket Galaxy all struggled in varying meta's when they're at a fair cost; None of which were in such a dire position as warrior is atm too. Even lorthemar struggles at being a win condition in warrior and that has brann and Zola synergy potential to get some stupid stats.
Unless they print something relating to a fire control warrior that has some great utilities with this spell, this will probably end up being junk, well, maybe a solid 2/5 card...
These are the kind of music references I was hoping for this expansion! Hopefully when you have lethal on board with this, the freebird solo will kick in
Honestly, in my experience it's best to just go aggro for the last leg to legend. Undead priest, or any zoo-like deck that can still burst you down at the end are just always gonna be a difficult fight for a deck like this.
However, answering your question, I'd probably stick in a possible tempo-spammy arcanist, grimoire of sacrifice for the same reason (and for quick Darkvein activation) and finally probably a Zola incase I don't need either one and wanna go deeper into the control/greed plays
Innervate wouldn't work on its own, unless you play guff you can only have 10 mana crystals, it would just waste your innervate. So with that being said, they are definitely going to release more extra mana bullsh*t for druid; more than likely the first expansion after guff goes
This had been discussed among Devs as far as I'm aware, they were planning on bringing in a co-op multiplayer that they said was gonna be something special and unlike the previous co-op brawls we've had... That was about 4-5 years ago now unfortunately.
They also did the whole alliance Vs horde clans meme thing that meant nothing ultimately.
But I do agree with raids, a little bit of me was hopeful for that when mercs was announced, I thought the rogue like missions were gonna be long with lots of decision making, new temp mercs for your team, tonnes of treasures similar to duels, multiplayer options and cool stuff like that. But it was nothing like that. Maybe because of its failure, they're scared to try something unique again. So even if they did add raids, I doubt they'll feel fun or replayable and clans will probably feel empty and pointless after a month or 2 if there's very little incentive or reward, which are both something blizz really hate giving nowadays.
I agree with you, but I don't trust in blizzard anymore like I did almost 20 years ago
Do you already own a copy of every legendary? You'll start opening standard copies of golden or signature ones you already have, and you'd also be able open golden and signatures of cards you already have as standards too. Maybe at that point they don't offer rerolls 🤔

When/if they print some deathrattle synergy, this is gonna be a zesty boy. Well, unholy deathrattle synergy...

Good pick in arena though

There better be some musicians turned into WoW characters in this!
Aether Frankin
Meatelf
Ozzy Oz'bane
Manadonna
Elune John
Felvis Presley
Bob Mar'lee (that's a deep dive reference right there)
And I also expect at least one pun where Tauren is used to replace "touring"
