I was one win from legend three times with mining paladin, but every time I get matched with hunter bots because that's the hardest deck to beat with my deck. Then after a few games trying different decks, like plague DK and Highlander Warrior, I get thrown back to Diamond 3 after losing against every hunter and warlock I faced, and there was a lot of them(with the exception of one warlock where I could remove his portal with Reno).
So I finally caved in and crafted an aggro hunter, but then of course I get matched with shaman bots who go face with spells or have insane rng with battlecries. Didn't improve my winrate at all. If this was blizzard's idea of motivating player they are so wrong. While it might keep you in the game longer it also makes you give up after realising there is no way to legend without insane luck, because no matter what deck you choose, you will always face opponents you can't beat, and it's not about skill anymore. It's about who has the best or right deck for the encounter and some rng with card draws.
So far in this meta I've been looking at winrates at Hearthstone Meta Stats, but they don't seem quite right. So I'm asking what are some solid decks to play that won't get steamrolled? I'm close to giving up since legend is probably not worth all the pain it takes to get there. Right now it feels like I'm playing more for revenge than actually climbing the ladder.
This, tech removal/aoe in your deck. I was a playing a variant of plague and basically was trying to mulligan for my aoe, when I had it, my chances of winning increased. Also good timing to play, makes difference.
Well, I have an Uther's Gift in my deck. I guess I could add in two consecrations instead because it seems they are needed.
So we can all agree that cheap minions are too good in this game? Became even more obvious after they boosted a lot of minions. And one card that hunter has now is ridiculous "Get all animal companions, they cost 1". Wtf?
If I played that deck I'd be legend by now. All hunters should be at the end of the month if they play enough, the problem is some of them seems to hand around at diamond, making the meta toxic... :(
Do it! Against Warlock, be cautious of the card Barrel of Sludge and avoid taking too much damage from Sludge on Wheels. Try to find your Fye, the Setting Sun as quickly as possible to heal up. Against Rogue, focus on building your Golem wall as fast as you can.
I tried and Dragon Druid is the worst deck I've played. Couldn't get a single victory because there are so many decks with board clear.
Intersting guide. When I tried Dragon Druid I always ran out of juice vs control and gave it up for a warrior deck, but now I see there are way to deal with it. Might even try it again. How does it work against warlock and rogue?
I'm playing an aggro paladin that had 57% winrate on metastats but I don't have Kotori Lightblade and my winrate sucks at 2 of 6. I'm really struggling with all Reno decks since they easily clean the board, restricts me to one minion and has enough healing to counter the damage I can do. I can't dish out enough damage in beginning to prevent them from recovering.
Alright, let's help instead of being toxic. You see that line that says "To use this deck..."? It's not part of the code and needs to be deleted. Then you probably need to reload the page.

I honestly hope it dies.

Vandar and Cutterbutter won't do much for this deck.

Has potential but can't handle aggro decks.

The idea to just freeze minions and let them merge is very good, but didn't really work well against the majority of decks I faced.

Ruby Spellstone is very good in this deck and can be a replacement for evocation if you don't have it.

I hope you're trolling, because a holy spell in this deck will render Darkbishop Benedictus useless.

Brann Bronzebeard would add more value to this deck, considering the amount of battlecries.

I have it in my collection, but they messed up by adding unavailable versions instead of the ones you can use.
