Im lucky. Never had a friend request become idle threats, always an actual request. Ive sent my fair share of requests after a particularly good game. BTW im always happy to make new friends so add me if you like

Andrei2007 posted a message on Process of reporting players neededPosted in: Players and Teams DiscussionI just played a game with a player, let's call them Bob (although I can name the person's battletag if someone asks). I played Questline Shaman and Bob played I think Ramp Druid. I beat Bob fair and square, went face as much as possible since Bob didn't play much minions and I always had answer for everything he played. After the game, Bob sent me a friend request. He called me sucker (I don't care much for insults) and was salty for losing and said he would report me. I tried to report him for bad and toxic behavior, but couldn't for some reason (maybe because he unfriended me). I never reported someone since this option is added so my question is: what is the process behind it? When someone reports, does Blizzard always punish the reported person or do they investigate further? Is there a punishment for falsely reporting? Just curious if something happens that shouldn't have. Thanks :)
The report feature is not working yet. I'd recommend not accepting friend requests from people you don't know, because they are overwhelmingly toxic, and unless you enjoy their feats of rage, there's nothing for you to gain from them. Probably this is how reporting works:
1. If a player reports you, they will probably not look into it.
2. If multiple players report you, they will most likely look into your conversations.
3. If someone reports every opponent they lose to, they will probably be shadow banned from reporting, making them think they report so it takes their pain away, but also removing them from the system.
4. If a player insults you then threatens to report you, he is either lying or missing a screw in his central unit. Don't worry about these empty threats.

Hydo posted a message on Dust refund for Varian?Posted in: Card DiscussionHe is the first legendary you get from battle pass. This was done even in the last expansion for Mankirk to make sure that players that would buy battle pass wouln't open him from packs (or the would open him and could get all of its dust back)

Sellina posted a message on Dust refund for Varian?Posted in: Card DiscussionVarian is offered as the diamond legendary of the Reward Track.
In order for people that'll buy it but that'll open their packs BEFORE and get Varian in a pack, they can get a dust refund so they don't get "screwed" for having the same legendary twice.

onceupop posted a message on I am blind as a batPosted in: General DiscussionEDIT for the Stormwind expansion:
2 days until launch, this will be fun. I have successfully avoided any spoilers/card reveals and will be opening all my packs totally blind.
Will pour myself a good whiskey and take my time opening packs. Legendaries will be extra exciting this way.
Anyone else doing this? Good luck with your packs everyone :D

Eqo posted a message on Iksar's Response On The Lack Of CommunicationPosted in: NewsI think the comments on this thread show how Team 5 couldn't have 'won' anyways. They either communicate about the stream being pushed and they'd get hated on by sweaty little boys for not seeing the cards. Or they wouldn't communicate, and get hate for it by privileged grown men. The only way to not get any hate was to continue the stream regardless, which is what they wouldn't do. And rightfully so.
You need to ask yourself one simple question before complaining or spewing your toxicity all over those that work endlessly to get you your precious escape from your terrifying real life: Would I be happy with the actual improvement or action I'm suggesting? Because if the answer is "no", why bother?
I don't care about how many downvotes this gets. I care about a team that makes a great game that I love playing. They've given me one hell of a time during a difficult period in all our lives (Covid). No matter how messed up life was, I at least had that. In regards to what is happening at their workplace right now, if you can't find it in your heart to cut that same team some slack now, you're sad, pathetic and quite honestly, undeserving of their attention in the first place.

Keema posted a message on Most frustrating early expansion ladder ever...Posted in: General DiscussionA big part of the problem is the pre-release streams. Streamers find the decks and then people netdeck. If we all started from zero on release day, it would be much more fun. But, because of pre-release streams, players lose the fun of discovering the expansion.

Wizzlewix posted a message on Is Evolve Shaman worse than broken Demon HunterPosted in: Standard FormatWith Mind control tech and Vanish in the hall of fame, there aren't many cards in standard that punish the opponent for overextending. Maybe we have to be more creative with cheap ways to remove a board. I've been playing with Doomsayer a lot recently but the problem is Shaman has good removal-tools. Perhaps making a deck with high-attack taunts will make it punishing for the opponent to use weapon swings? I think rather than the complaining about the deck, we need to logically think about its weaknesses and how to exploit them.

enoX_36 posted a message on Is Evolve Shaman worse than broken Demon HunterPosted in: Standard FormatI disagree. Demon hunter was way more annoying and stronger than evolve shaman. It never felt good to die from 30 hp in 2 turns while getting your board cleared and opponent building their own board. Yeah, evolve shaman is just mindless board flood into evolve (they can still get screwed by doomsayer now and then), they make you run Kobold Stickyfinger and I'm sure this thing will give them the nerf hammer. But evolve shaman will never be as cancerous as demon hunter used to be.

I am an adult and I did not get my feelings hurt if that is what you implied. I was just curious on how reporting in HS works because it is a new feature and had an encounter with a salty player who said he would report me. Even so, I am not afraid or worried about it because I did nothing wrong. Again, just curious.
No.

I found another Talented Arcanist bug. I already posted something similar. It was with Cram Session. And now it is with Ras Frostwhisper. Just see the image below.
On Ras it reads 5 damage, but when you look at Thrall it reads 3 damage.

I don't know if anyone posted this already, but I found a bug with cards mentioned in title.
Even though I won this game, this needs to be fixed.

I know nothing of the mini-set, but I asked here before should we save packs and most answear was YES... save packs.

Just want some opinion on what did you spend Tavern Ticket (a reward you get for reaching level 15 on new Reward and Progression System): Duels or Arena? I didn't play Arena for a very very long time. I played couple of Duels and did a pretty decent winrate with couple of heroes. I'll probably pick Duels with this, but still want to know what you guys chose.

Thanks! :D

Does anyone know when will nerfs come?

It has been a little over a week now and I'm wondering if I should still wait or start crafting decks. Have you crafted anything and what kind of deck (competitive meta deck or meme one)? Or are you still waiting for the meta to settle (if it's not) or maybe potential nerfs?
I want to craft because I'm eager to try new stuff and don't want to play "old" decks.
On the other hand I don't want to invest my dust and gold into powerful decks that might be nerfed, and in the way like Kingsbane Rogue was (+40 dust only).
So, yeah. My question above... Wait or no?

Skipping it like every other theorycrafting stream. For me, personally, it ruins the fun of the first day of the expansion when everyone knows what is best because of these streams. There is no more exploring, no fun, no good suprise when most people will copy-paste the decks from streams. They basically decide and make the meta before the expansion is launched. So, yeah...not gonna attend.

I think it should work on any minion (as in mine or opponent's) because Khadgar summons twice as many minions from cards that summon and on Psyche Split it says "summon a copy of it". So, yeah... think it should work.
