Why are commenters on Hearthpwn so myopic?
Not. Every. Brawl. Is. For. You.
If you give it two seconds of thought, this Brawl is obviously for casual players who haven't gotten to try out some of the powerful Old Gods cards, and gives them an opportunity to "test drive" them using the recipe decks. There are MANY more of those players than there are of us, so everyone just calm down when Blizzard does something for them.

Hearthstone is what you make of it. If you want a competitive deck to climb ladder not that hard to put together an aggro deck. If you want to play a lot of different decks that will cost you some real money. If you want to play some unique creative decks be prepared to lose to plenty of ladder decks. I usually play competitive decks to rank 15, and then switch to playing what ever I feel like. So, I usually rank between 15-10 and I am totally cool with that. If my janky gimmick deck gets creamed by pirate warrior I just laugh and queue up a new match at that point.

Mad props dude. Oil rogue is a high skilled deck to play. I have played it before the nerfs, and playing some tempo rogue now, and the margins of victory are so narrow.

I like Keleseth, and Tarim for crafting. Keleseth can fit in different decks and provide great value. Tarim is just amazing in paladin. Can be used for removal or buffs of your own guys.
I would probably not craft Shaku if I did not have him. I did get him tho, and love it. Lots of value if they do not kill him, and with stealth he usually always gets a card.
If you like priest you can't go wrong with Velen. He allows for a lot of burst.

Not surprised by his saltiness. Priest players think they are so great because they can control most decks, but pw usually beats them up so they have hatred for that deck.
Priset decks are like hillary. They feel they are superior and entitled to win. Pirate Warrior is like Trump they don't care about playing nice they just want to win.

I play a krul kazakus highlander warlock deck that can beat jade druid pretty well. I find the druid build with teachers that goes wide more of a problem. If i don't have the board wipe when needed they buff their board and over run me.

Yogg has not been good ever since the nerf. I still throw him in a deck once in awhile and promptly pull him back out. Craft something better.

The real douche deck in wild is N'Zoth priest. Notice all the replies from the priests who laugh at mid shaman. Most of the time I love wild because there is alot more diversity of decks than standard, but then you face a priest and it feels hopeless unless you can burst them down. Standard is so boring now. The card pool is so small that you can almost always predict what deck you are playing against. I play lots of different classes and custom decks in wild, but seeing a priest makes me want to quit playing it.

Maybe include Emperor to play Fandral and Wisps in one turn?

I play druid ramp and like Naga Witch better than Aviana. Thalnos is niche for some decks like Freeze mage and Miracle Rogue. Rag is a great late game closer in any deck, and it became the goto big fattie in standard since no dr. 7. Die Insect!
