And the mvp of my deck was Baron Geddon. Wins you games against aggro and token druid. I won so many games due to that card.

I climbed to rank 5 last month for the first time. I don't put that much time into laddering, and usually only get rank 10. My experience was lots of aggro shammy and mech hunter. I was playing my own control warrior build. Used 2 spellbreakers for hunter, and 2 scraphounds for the aggro. I would usually lose to conjurer mage, and my mirror, but i did not see them that often, and usually beat my aggro matchups.

I would suggest play a deck that usually beats your common matchups you face.

    Quote from Acolyte_36 >>

I've tried a couple of MechaThun Rogue variations during this expansion, and getting to a combo (my favourite was a quest rogue with Thun, Prep and Eviscerate) was never the hardest part. I would normally find myself struggling doing the following:
    1. Empty my hand
    2. Once the hand was emptied, making sure that the rest of my minions would die.

That last past really was more difficult than you'd expect - Especially if your opponent figured out what you are up to.

I had the same problem trying to make Mecha'thun Druid work. I used Auctioneer and cycled to easily draw my deck but was then struggling to get cards out of my hand and other minions off the board. It might be more workable with Rogue and the new legendary tho. I will look into it.

I have been beating them with a dumb midrange res priest deck. I actually lost to an old school tempo mage deck for rank 5 last month, but usually beat this new quest mage deck.

My android phone has also not been able to play since last update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled too many times to count. It always hangs at the tavern doors.

Wild is a place for big crazy stuff to happen. Sometimes you will get high rolled and you can't do anything about it. It is not just big priest pulling off crazy shit either. Thekal Giant Paladin and Darkest Hour Warlock can have you facing down a beating very early. The aggro is so fast that getting to 6 mana can feel like it's taking forever as you bleed out.

I play both standard and wild. I play wild when I want to play some crazy broken shit, or a walk down memory lane with something like Reno, Jade, Secret Pally. The variety of decks and the competitiveness are all over the place in wild. I play standard when I want to ladder in a meta where the decks are known. Standard ladder feels more competitive, but is easier since you know what you are playing against.

Playing both formats I think is the way to go that way if you are getting tired in one you can switch to the other for awhile. Also I look at crafting differently from you. When considering crafting a legendary I ask will this also be good in Wild. I think it is more of a waste to craft something that will only have a 2 year shelf life. Wild is the eternal format. Your cards are always good there.

I have been playing Control Warrior, and I had wondered if a Dragon version might work. I was thinking Smolderhorn Lancer would be good in the deck, but I see you do not play any. Why no Lancer?

The movie was great. So glad Captain deus ex machina Marvel was only in the movie for like 15 minutes. She is the worst super hero character ever. I think she is channeling an angry man hating feminist for the role. Or maybe she is not acting.

posted a message on For the GoT fans. Season 8 has begun.

I just started watching GOT a little over a month ago. I binged my way up to be current with season 8. I can't wait for tonights episode. This show is amazing. Better than anything else out there by far. That must have been terrible for the regular watchers to have waited a year and a half for this final season. Winter Is Here.

posted a message on How to cunter zoo and token druid?

Yeah, I probably should have stated it differently. Not so much knowing how to play control versus aggro, but having the deck built to face aggro. These were more like midrange control Warrior decks. Get on the board early, and fight for the board. If things get out of hand use Warpath, Dyn-o-Matic, or Brawl to get control back. Probably does not have all the greedy late game cards to face other control decks, but does good against aggro.
