Man i love reading the post from players that spent $50, or a few hundred, and are upset.

Give Mobile Strike a try. Well over $30,000 down the drain with that insane cash grabbing game in less than a year, and in the end, I walked (crawled) away with absolutely nothing.

Being able to spend maybe a couple hundred bucks, play reasonably competitively, and know I can't lose all my stuff while I sleep because I forgot to click on a shield button ...

Just wish I had stumbled on this game a year ago instead of Mobile Strike

Mate..if you spend $30,000 on a mobile game you have some serious issues. That's not a reasonable amount.
No argument here ... it is as unreasonable as it gets. But it's designed DAMN GOOD to make people do REALLY stupid things. Mobile Strike actually uses gambling and addiction specialists to design the game in a manner to get you hooked, get a "small" amount of your money (a few hundred bucks, maybe) ... then essentially force you into paying exponentially more and more.

To put it into Hearthstone terms. Imagine that you start out pretty much how HS is ... you can play for free with basic cards, and you can win a little, and lose a little. But every 3 days or so, new cards come out that you can buy. Without these cards, you start losing more and more. You can, however, buy a deck or two, for $5 so you can keep up again. But, 3 days later, more new cards ... only this time, the decks cost $20. If you were smart, you would walk away ... but its ONLY $20 ... and it's a limited time offer ... so you bite, and you buy.

Then the weekend comes ... and there is a big tournament ... but you need the new cards. And now those cards are $100. CRAZY!!! But, man ... Toast, Trump, all the big guys are gonna be there!!! And if you have those cards, YOU could beat them. (It says so... right there on the screen!!!) Well, you got a little extra mad money laying around. What could it hurt? So you buy in ... and holy crap, you do good!

Now you have this adrenaline rush from winning, you got a fancy banner, and maybe you even have your name on the Control Point. But, you also now have $150 in the game ... and 3 days later ... MORE CARDS! And worse yet, not only can you not win anymore without these new cards ... if you lose, or if you don't log in an buy a shield every 3 days, someone can come beat you, AND TAKE THE CARDS YOU DO HAVE, so not only can you not win .. you can't play ... and your $150 is GONE.....

I could keep going ... but I think you get the picture. Every 3 days or so, its "game changing" new equipment ... new cards. And the more you have sunk into the game, the more you will spend to keep playing, or at least protect what you have spent. Hell, by the end, you will be spending $200 a week JUST TO SURVIVE ... not to win. To win you could be looking at $1000 a week, or more.

I'm telling ya .. if you haven't played it .. DON'T. I have seen it bankrupt multiple people. I have seen entire retirement accounts emptied. I seriously have seen someone whose house burned down, spend the insurance money on the game. I consider myself LUCKY to have only lost $30,000. (In reality, I spent nearly $100,000 ... I was able to recover quite a bit by declining credit card charges and Google Play disputes).
Thank you for sharing, and I feel for you.

Wish they would un-nerf blade flurry and put it in the hall of fame so I could play a real deck, at least in wild.  God I miss oil rogue.

Just lost to a Rogue who at 2hp played Yogg who then proceeded, among other things, to Flamestrike my board, double-Moonfire my face and finally put me out of my misery with a Pyroblast. I'm sure my opponent had a fun game, but for me it was bulls**t. I spent ten minutes playing, fighting for board control, making calculated decisions and then in the end it was "hey d00dz, RNG decided that you lose". I mean what the actual f**k? It makes zero sense. Why am I even playing this game? Why not just decide the winner in the beginning with a coin flip and get it over with?

I havn't played in over a week. Mostly because of yogg. But the whole game's a joke. I hope I never play again. I can save time flipping a coin by self. If I get heads 25 times in a row I'll draw a diamond on my head and tell everyone to address me as legend.

I reinstalled and tried to play some games. Lost to three yogg decks. It's like this stuff is scripted. One even ganged up himself so I had to watch that bs three times in one game. Filling the board every time. I uninstalled again. Play a face deck or get yogged. Fuck that shit.

Was so disgusted today I uninstalled.

Was at ten health. Two auctioneer out. Have a discounted shiv evis malygos and prep in hand. So opponent is very dead next turn Just from spell dmg. His health was under ten. My opponent has a violet teacher out. His turn he attacks and then yoggs. First spell is doom. Then arcane missles. A bunch of stuff that has no targets. Druid spell that gives two attack. So he needs two more dmg for lethal. Yogg plays a prep. He then savage roars and kills me.

Of course similar things have happened before. But I think I realized this time that this isn't the game I want to play. Here I am vying for board. Saving my combo pieces. Thinking about what's left in my deck and what my opponent may have. I mean if he had killed me with double swipe, well played. I wasn't aggressive enough and didn't make him use his swipes. If it was leeroy then gg, didn't see that coming. I shoulda played the chillmaw in my hand instead of drawing. I've lost to both those senerios many times and never felt like this. But losing to yogg is just gross. The druid didn't have to think about saving his spells. Jusy use them whenever because they add up to some insane combo that noone can predict or play around. I think I'm finally done wasting my time on this game (other than this post) because it's not even remotely decided by choices anymore. It's all up to rngesus. And to me, that's no fun.

I'm joining the fuck yogg crowd. Last few times hes been played on me have been sick. Just now first spell was mind control on my malygos. Was so on top in everything but just rage conceded. Stupidest design ever. I had crafted yogg but disenchanted him after about ten games. It's not a satisfying win condition for me.

Legend with hybrid hunter. Was playing a lot of decks to three, but most of my matches were warrior so I stuck to hunter and it was pretty easy after that. Using Amnesiac's list. I think it's perfect.

People keep crying about shaman, face shaman deserves the hate. But midrange shaman takes some thinking (mainly due to overload), at least more than a lot of top tier decks (pirate warrior, tempo mage, zoo, and midrange hunter to name a few). I do agree that there are some bs shaman cards (4 mana 7/7) but every class has some bs cards (Call of the wild, ice block, sap, and C'thun ffs).

You may say this is the wrong forum for this but I get genuinely upset when people shit on Shaman (they deserve some shit...) more than any other class. Mage and Hunter have only been getting more annoying and priest (while it is weak) is so aggravating to play against.

*pls don't hate, just blowing off steam

I agree. I don't even play shaman but I don't mind playing against any version. I actually think the free 5/5 is way more op than the 7/7, because the 7/7 gives them overload to deal with.
It's c'thun warrior that I think is the most brainless deck in the meta. That 6/6 ten armor shieldbearer is such bs. There are ways to deal with shaman minions or weapons. But there's nothing to fight warrior's infinite armor infinite removal. I have golden warrior and I hate playing vs c'thun/cw the most. I think it's cheating.

Just lost to reno combolock. He heropwr at 10 cards and burned jaraxxus. But his stupid didn't matter because reno erased all his mistakes. Most brainless card ever.
