Quote from Nameyorname >>This game feels often so scripted. It happens always after i get killstreak like today. Then game starts to give me counter decks and every RNG based situation gives worst possible outcome . Its like game decides when you win and or lose, so why even bother to play. Best is to quit and take break before the game decides that its gonna balance your winrate. Ofcourse i wouldnt want to believe its like this, but it happens so systematically.

I have a lot to say here, not sure where to begin with...
First of all, I'm pretty average HS player overall and I don't play arena often, although generally I enjoy it way more than constructed.
Second, before WotOG came, I used to finish arena runs with 5-6 wins on average, sometimes even with "weaker" arena heroes. After WotOG I consider 3 wins to be a good arena run, so right now I pretty much suck at it as well.
HOWEVER
I noticed this a few times: when I take quite a long break from arena, my next run usually tends to be very good or above average at least (draft and the actual games). This happened after WotOG also. For example, a Druid run with this deck ended up in 11-3. After that, I came back to my "normal" arena playing Mage with this deck. It ended in humiliating 0-3. BUT I got a golden N'Zoth from the pack, lol. What I'm trying to say here, is, it helps to approach arena with a clear head :)
Next, in my arena experience I find this statement to be wrong 90% of the time:
It almost always looks like my arena opponents have the perfect answer to anything I throw at them or have that particular card I should have been afraid of, but decided not to, because
Lastly, I think that luck and RNG still plays a pretty big role in arena. Sometimes you can draft like a god and still lose 3 times very quickly, even if you're a good HS player. Just watch some of Trump's unlucky arena runs.
