Ok, so I believe this card is exactly what hearthstone needs right now. Having access to the Hero Power from the Tavern Brawl would change the meta in a fun and interesting way. It gives control Shaman some viability, as it could be played early enough and on curve with Fireguard Destroyer's overload or maybe even replace him in the deck? BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Any class could potentially benefit from the card, however decks that currently run Justicar Trueheart may not want to. Sideshow Spelleater could potentially be used as a tech choice in some decks. That being said, I am open to suggestions on mana cost, (Similar to Dr. Boom his attack and health will mirror it) and artwork, but this one isn't horrible. Let me know what you guys think.

Can we stop with the GvG nonsense? Massive amounts of RNG sounds cool until you actually play with the cards, then they turn out to be either unplayable or unbeatable.
In what way is this unbeatable, unplayable, or nonsense? Massive RNG IS hearthstone! Dismissing the card merely because it is somewhat related to another card from GVG is disrespectful IMO.

"Even the mightiest warriors will fall without luck."

Card effect based on the Spartans in 300. They would not war with the Persians because of superstition.

No worries. A silence would just destroy that minion.

    See! It's not super overpowered!

I agree that it is a cool concept to mix lightspawn and molten giant, however blizzard would NOT make a minion that HAD to have a silence to kill it, because it screams imbalance. not all decks have a card that could remove this. also, all you need is a druid to innervate alarm-o-bot on turn one, your opponent has no answer, and POW right in the kisser.

I would like to note that the wording on Uldar Collosus makes it unkillable. Having the minions health and attack equal to your health means that it will not take damage unless your hero takes damage. meaning that it can literally attack whatever it wants with no drawbacks and god forbid it gets taunt. Refer to lightspawn for comparison.

    asking again.....

which one, guys? is it more balanced to give the opponent a chance to discard it instead of continuing the cycle?

I think giving the opponent a chance to get rid of it is good, mostly as a safety net for both players. If your opponent chooses to get rid of them they lose tempo, but if they use the other effect they can really punish the user.

I feel like a lot of the cards I have seen are 1 of 2 things. Either they are basically class cards that have been rehashed class card effects, or something game-breaking that would be way to powerful to be in the game. I'm not trying to step on peoples potatoes, merely pointing out an issue that, if addressed, could see an influx of some very creative and potentially balanced cards submissions.

Basically, I figure the only way to maintain class balancing with neutral spells would be to make them mostly luck based. Thus this awkward yet potentially effective removal, and  Though I cannot show it, the choosing screen would be similar to that of the pre-game mulligan. To prevent BM there is a 5 second timer for choosing before it is randomized.

    "Pick a card. Any card."

Basically, your opponents minions take the weapon damage if they attack your hero, but your hero is unable to attack while this is going on.
