Nice deck! It looks like fun! Do you think that Azalina is worth crafting in general?

Hi there, thanks! the deck is fun indeed, I had not that much time to play it, I just played it yesterday evening and I got nice results for the amount of time that I spent playing it (got from rank 8* to 7** without losing a single match on the EU server).
As for Azalina Soulthief, I cannot say whether she is worth crafting or not, as I said I had the chance to test her only in a match. Anyway, I'll try to explain the rationale behind the use of this card.
As a Warlock, you heavily rely a lot on the hero power for drawing cards and you may end up killing yourself pretty fast. On top of this, with your cheap minions you may end up depleting your hand quickly, so you may want a fast way to reload. Azalina Soulthief may help in reducing the amount of self-inflicted damage, because instead of using the hero power during the late game, you play a card that "draws" a number of cards equivalent to hand of your opponent. What is also good about Azalina Soulthief is that you get to know the possible game plan of your opponent, so you may reliably play around hers/his plays (at least up to the opponent's topdeck). Of course it is not a tempo-oriented card, but the value that you get from playing is unprecedented (theoretically).
Now, if you have tons of dust to spend, I would give her a try, otherwise there are plenty of safe and worth crafting cards that you may want to have before Azalina Soulthief.
    Hope this will help!

Azalina Soulthief is a good card in aggro in a matchup Vs control decks. but i dont really feel it's a good crafting material as it depends heavily on your luck

btw how to attatch image to a post ?

even paladin is the current best variant of paladin, this is coming from hsreplay stats and personal experience

I crafted genn for that purpose but so far i failed in piloting the deck droped from 12 5 star to 12 0 star.. met a lot of dude paladin along the way. All the even cards felt so clunky.. i often ended up wasting alot of mana because i cant drop minion on the board.
its player error then. even paladin isnt a braindead aggro deck m8

That might be the issue, maybe i haven't got the feel of the deck.

You have to consider in what way you benefit from a 1-mana Hero Power. Some examples that come to my mind:

    • Paladins like it because they can flood the board with Silver Hand Recruits. They also get to keep Tirion Fordring, Sunkeeper Tarim, Call to Arms and other synergistic cards like Knife Juggler.
    • Hunters can slip cheap snipes in between Secrets and other control cards, to grind down their opponent. It's slower than the Odd Hunter variant, but less likely to run out of steam. As the game goes on, the 1-mana/2-damage Hero Power will outpace the 2-mana/3-damage Power in terms of efficiency. I play Even Hunter with Deathstalker Rexxar and a Kathrena Winterwisp setup, and am 7-0 in the matchup against Odd Hunters.
    • Handlocks can utilize a cheaper Hero Power to maximize their draw potential. The most important cards like Mountain Giant and Twilight Drake are Even-costed.

Thanks for the ideas, i might try to work something out with even hunter

So far I've heard of Even Paladin (Call to Arms, all the usual two-drops, Sunkeeper Tarim) and Even Handlock (Mountain Giant, Twilight Drake, Sunfury Protector) working out at least a little bit. Other classes just don't seem to benefit enough from the 1 mana Hero Power or have trouble cutting key odd-costing cards to build a competitive deck.

I haven't seen even handlock but yes, odd cost cards usually have many crucial benefit. Like in paladin, all dude token cards are odd costed but their synergy (tarim, lion, stegodon) are all even.. by the way, how to link cards to your post ? I'm new here lol

Hello, i'm new to this forum and would like to hear opinions about Even Decks..

I crafted Genn to experiment a bit with even decks but i found it lacking in so many aspect.. 1 mana cost reduction did not do much for the game and it doesn't carry on to DK hero power (your DK power still cost 2).

any ideas how to make even decks work ?
