Hey guys just thought I’d drop my two cents. Right now I’m top 800 legend and it’s rare for me to see paladin in general. I’ve tried the deck and to me what it seems is that the deck can
1. draw well and do decently or
2. draw poorly and have no chance at winning games.
The deck is just too inconsistent and though it has a good matchup against druids, it drops in popularity the higher you go through legend. Data seems to be very skewed recently (don’t ask me why) but the stats on libram paladin’s winrate remind me of murloc paladin last expansion which, although it showed a high winrate, was a tier three deck at best. And although tournament/gm showings have different rulesets I think it’s still good to look at the evidence that paladin has been rarely/not at all been taken up as a deck of choice.
Decks are most definitely not refined and as such the meta is most definitely not settled. Paladin and druid have packages/shells that make their decks the easiest to build well. Most other classes still need lots of experimentation to refine.
(honorable mentions to trueaim crescent, nature studies, devolving missiles, vectus, lightning bloom, lord barov, high abess alura) (lots of good cards lol)
murloc paladin winrates have been skewed the entire expansion. If you look at top 1000 legend, murloc paladin is in tier 3. You can also look at any large tournaments and see that no players bring paladin in their line ups.
Personally I’d experiment with quest for a cyclone mage to try and kill with varogoth plus mana giants. If you want to go the highlander route then Jaina, reno, possibly even luna’s pocket galaxy. Try to keep in mind what your opponents could take as their wild card as well to help you decide.
Yeah I think that with hand of guldan/lackey package it’s a little awkward to play lorekeeper considering you won’t be drawing the cards that combo well with your high end cards. That being said I’d default to just playing gandling over tekhan considering that gandling has flexibility of synergizing with any minion instead of lackeys as well as a better statline. Unless you plan on going further to the lategame gandling just makes more sense for a zoo deck.
I’d wait until all cards have been released to start building the deck, there may be some auto include card revealed that makes you have to completely re evaluate how you built the deck to work with lorekeeper

Was between hunter and demon hunter since I had no portraits for them and ended up taking the demon hunter one. No regrets!

Stopped taking this seriously when I saw blur, and then pit commander was icing on the cake

If your opponent has a weapon over her health and it is their turn then lillian will die.

The card was actually only decent before lackeys were introduced I’d wait until they rotate to see if it should get nerfed/hall of famed

I was actually thinking paladin got some really good cards, especially their dual class legendaries.

Wouldn’t you ratherly just play exotic mountseller instead though?
