The final boss minion for all the questlines needs to be shuffled into the deck. It needs to be harder -- but not impossible -- for these decks to prevail so early.
OTK decks and archetypes should should r0t in h3ll!!
Not an unpopular opinion. As an OTK player myself (who ain't touching current standard), I'd say that they're fine - and required - when they're acting as a brake on greedy control, ensuring that those decks don't just devolve into fatigue with no wincons. When they're reliably going off fast? That's unhealthy for the game. When it's something like old school freeze, or even just janky/shaky/bad OTKs, it's very different to current STD.
There does indeed need to be a balance. And right now the needle is pointing way toward quick and/or OTK decks. I realize that perfect balance will never happen; but the situation needs fixing and quickly. I know some players dislike Priest but if Priest is nearly unplayable then the game is in trouble.
Oh, and you have to laugh at the OP. His/her/its first post and all it achieves is to troll the flames of the community.
Well, I started playing the deck in practice mode and now it's working as designed. The time it didn't work I selected Psychic Scream. Perhaps the fact that the card was no longer in play upon resolution had some sort of effect? It's going to be hard to recreate this scenario.
I replayed the game and discussed it with my opponent. I thought Tortollan Primalist would be a clever way to cast both the 7 and 8 mana cards with a lucky roll. However, only the spell discovered counts. Tortollan Primalist itself does not trigger as an 8 mana card. I'll be reporting this to Blizzard.
Well, I've been playing since Beta and I can definitely say that this expansion has been my least favorite. And I play exclusively in Wild these days. It just seems wrong not to play with my whole library of cards. Of course, it's not just the expansion's fault. There's been power creep going on since the beginning. United in Stormwind is just a continuation of a long trend. When was the last time anyone saw anyone play a Chillwind Yeti? Heck, playing one of those on turn one earns you achievement points. I'm not entirely sure how many nerfs it'll take to steer the game back in the right directiion -- or whether nerfs are even the answer. Perhaps we should increase our starting life totals? The only control deck I'm playing with a reliable chance of winning is my Priest Reno deathrattle deck with the Awaken The Makers quest. And even after gaining over a hundred lives I have lost to the Hunter and Warlock questlines. Sadness.
If you thought it was bad before; many of the fast questlines have made the situation worse. Hunter, Warlock and Warrior are especially oppressive. The Priest one, as you might expect, is too slow but it occasionally pulls off a victory.
Well, I've played a bunch of games in Wild and I'm having no problem at all versus Druid, Mage, Priest and Rogue. Hunter, Paladin, Shaman and Warrior seem to be either great or awful, depending on their draws. I haven't seen the Demon Hunter one yet. I haven't seen Priest even complete the quest. And then there's the Warlock quest. I think I'm 0-5 versus it. Very focused, lean decks seem to really dominate.
For one mana, even if you only discover one card, is a decent value. Discovering more than one card is a premium. The win condition at the end is just gravy. It will infrequently win games all on its own. That won't stop deck designers from trying. In Wild Priest can stall, delay and survive with aplomb.
Even without the game-winning spell at the end the rewards along the way are solid. All the questlines will probably take too long to achieve versus pure aggro. I'm sure that there will be decks created to optimize it. And Priest finally has a win condition.
Is it still broken for you? I'm having the same issue with my Kindle Fire HD.
It took a while but eventually Amazon updated the app. It's not always the case; but in this instance the phone, tablet and computer versions of the game have to all be in sync.
Timing is everything. So sure, I played three games with Noz in my deck. No mirror Noz. The very next game my worthy opponent played Noz on curve in his or her Pirate deck.

Fingers crossed.

I have frequently seen Hex Lord Malacrass in Wild which allows Mage to play the same quest twice.

Somebody has obviously been playing way too much Battlegrounds.

I understand and concur. But this is the first time that I can recall where the game won't even play without the update.
