It's got me to Diamond 2. It's fun, powerful, and can win against any class. It struggles a bit with DH, but then so is almost every other class. It is good against Priests and feels about 50/50 against highlander Mages.
Nice! How does it do agains't the current Warlock decks running about?
As the title states. Thinking about crafting the 1 legendary and the 2 epics I need for the full list. But I'm curious, do you guys think this deck is competitive enough, especially after the recent nerfs to warlock and more notably Demon Hunter?
Have to agree with this... I didn't like the change myself, however, I played gala lock from D2 to legend last night post patch. The outcome: priest were dominate with RNG steal shinanigans, but my winrate against DH was 9/1 and carried me into legend.
My point, Sac nerf imho was uneeded. But the slight tempo loss the DH received across the board (specifically the early game damage) really helps other tempo decks get a chance to survive and establish. My 1 lose was a bad Mulligan against a perfect curve and was over t5. So DH can still blowout, but the likely hood of them pulling 30+ damage from hand on empty board through taunts has gone way down.
The problem is still the insane cheap draw and 0mana cards. Rogue was gutted for that exact reason. Now they give it to a new class... What?
Not sure - probably worth tweeting IksarHS about it, he replies to questions like that. I opened Millhouse in a pack and always kept him because I didnt want to get him again. It's nice to know that I can DE him and never get him again, and get the dust.
You guys are not understanding this. You dont get a duplicate if you have maximum amount of copies in your collection.
Depends. If you're playing something similar to the other galakrond decks, then I'd say toggwaggle for sure. He is part of the win condition much more than Edwin. But for evergreen value, Edwin is a staple in any rogue deck, doesn't rotate and is unique.
I can see that, it just seems like with highlander rogue its been hard to climb, and there are turns where you really can't play anything without it being awkward.
Pretty much what the title says. I have only been able to climb to rank 8-ish with Highlander Rogue . I either suck or the deck is just not performing well in this meta. Yes I run a full list. Went on a losing streak back to rank 9.
I partly agree, I think Leeroy Jenkins could be a candidate this year, Blizzard seems to not like a)burst for all classes and b)cards that are in all decks of a certain archetype (ik some face hunter lists dont include him, but still), Leeroy is both of that so maybe it's time to say goodbye. Another danger is Dinotamer Brann, it doesn't see much play, but as long as Jepetto Joybuzz is in the game, Brann is very dangerous.
Apart from that, I don't think there is anything really, Stonetusk Boar is no threat, combo is dead since Un'Goro rotated. If they really wanted to kill control off for good, Archivist Elysiana and Plague of Death is the way
Dinotamer Bran doesn't see much play? Uhh it's in every hunter highlander list which are high tier meta decks. Lol
Great guide, +1. Not sure about cutting out the death rattle package though. This is a high roll deck by nature, and the deathrattle package fits that nature.
Also since the highlander cards are your only win condition basically. Albatross priest effs you lulz

Interesting. On a 2nd note, I wonder if the deck will be nerfed soon. Some people are talking about it.

For your enemy.

No offense but this is painfully obvious.

Is this a face is the place deck?
EDIT. Zephyrs is the only highlander card in this deck, is it worth it to just make a more consistant deck without one highlander card?

For some reason this deck has pretty much fallen off the map. Why? Is it just bad in the meta now?
