Well, there's nothing in the game that would make me come to that conclusion, to be honest. It feels awkward even if it is supposed to be the way you mentioned.
I agree, I think it would be more interesting if the mechanic was “add X to the deck” without shuffling it. It doesn’t change the rng of drawing the added/shuffled card, and it wouldn’t negate the unique effect of Lorekeeper, which is technical enough and shouldn’t be so easily countered.

So, I have realised that whenever a card is shuffled into my deck after having played Polkelt, the order of the deck apparently becomes random again. Has anyone experienced this as well? It doesn't certainly feel like it should be happening.
There is also the fact that whenever an opponent plays their Polkelt, the animation takes place on my own deck.
