I think the fairest "nerf" to discover is to tweak the preferential to class cards... Probably still have class cards slightly more, but not at the rate we are seeing it at the moment.
I like the idea of getting to choose one of the three quasi-random cards. As a mechanic it is very nice, and adds almost a "Tech" layer. However I do agree with most peoples idea that at the moment it (Stonehill seems to be the most usually target) can get some quite strong cards (tarim and tirion) a bit too frequently.
I like the fact that it can grab legendaries and it shouldn't restrict this aspect, but I think the issue here is it (Stonehill) is grabbing class cards too frequently. I am pretty sure it is common to get a choice between righteous protector, tarim and tirion for example.
Instead of this occuring, what if we had only slightly more chance of seeing tarim as say Lich King, this wouldn't be that op then...
Anyway that is my two cents about this, let me know if anyone agrees, or if this too drastic in one direction or the other.
I agree that it should probably rotate, but. This is the key thing, BUT, it depends on how they handle it. Some type of dust must be given. Some form of renumeration. This is most likely the reason it has yet to implemented.
On one hand, picture a free to play player, they usually try to grab classic cards and rate getting these cards higher because they are advertised as always remaining in standard.
If suddenly they rotate, and no dust is given then that player would most likely quit.
However if they give back that dust to the player, that will be a lot of dust and likely break the game.
Maybe add some Cthun like cards (in particlar that doomcaller card?), return x discarded cards to hand or something?
There's the deathrattle minion from mean streets.
Oh yeah, Cruel Dinomancer. I dunno the card itself is bad, maybe back it a battlecry instead and put it into your hand (and not need to be a minion). I feel like this would be better, especially considering how often you would discard that one card you need.
Personally, both Baku and Genn have always seemed like cards that will be great later on in the cycle. After the second set or third set they will both see more play than ever. They will be constantly growing (unless they start printing 1/2 mana cards ;), as in like 3 1/2 mana crystals) lol
Yeah, I think between just a few minions that might heal he is good enough. Focusing too much on him isn't the best, but as far as 4 drops go he is pretty good, one or two trades is definitely nice. If I get a truesilver up, or one of the four life steal minions he could get great, but its not the end of the world if I drop him at 4 without any healing and he dies soon after.
When witchwood started, with the introduction of the likes of Paragon of Light and sound the bells I decided to finally go ahead and make a buff paladin.
I am still working on it, but would really like anyone's opinion on my decklist.
I don't have zola the gorgon, nor baleful banker yet, but I am wonder on your opinions before crafting them.
Vicious Scalehide might be a good addition, I found it worked really well with call to arms, and it is a very nice buff target (that lifegain), and vs agro it trades into silver hands well, but I don't know what I would cut in yours to add it. I know I want to get zola in mine, but I am not entirely sure about the bankers yet.

Hello Everyone,
When witchwood started, with the introduction of the likes of Paragon of Light and sound the bells I decided to finally go ahead and make a buff paladin.
I am still working on it, but would really like anyone's opinion on my decklist.

Yeah I agree. I have been having lots of fun with mine, though I am still working on optimizing mine.

But with this they have got to release more Lifesteal cards right? I mean there is what 1 or two neutral lifesteal cards in the game...
