I think most of the people are not looking at the disadvantages of this card. Let's examine it's disadvantages.
I think everyone would agree that the best value this card is when it's upgraded at least 10+ times. I think it's also fair to say that this card is best mulligan-ed than drawn.
Best case scenario would be keeping it on your mulligan and then using it turn 10+. Okay, but what does that imply? That's a dead card on your hand for 10+ turns! You can compare that to having a Baku in your opening hand.
You might say that it can be offset by rogue having a lot of Draw mechanic cards, but at what expense? Not having a strong board in early game. I think it's safe to assume this card might be too slow for Aggro(assuming Aggro decks would be decent).
Let's look at the worst case scenario, not drawing this card early. Let's say your Togwaggle schemes are in the bottom 15 of your deck, Once you draw it, it becomes a dead draw. You would have to wait a lot of turns before using it for maximum value. This can be compared to not drawing Keleseth in the early game.
I'm not saying this card is bad, it's just that pulling off maximum unlimited value off of this card might not be as consistent as people think it could be.
Halfway to writing this, I just realized that Schemes can be better compared to Spellstones without conditions and a lot more upgrades. So I take back what I said and say that Schemes are way too OP.
I know but when l reach 5 stars on a certain rank, The matches always feel tense, and it feels really bad when I lose and specially when I end up on a losing streak back to zero stars. That's where the tilt comes in. I only have one tier 1 deck, I think that's also a factor that contributes to the tilt.
Once I reach rank 5, I stop playing ladder. The tilt is too much for me. I dont see any problem playing tier 1 or 2 decks on casual the same way I dont think therws a problem playing meme decka on ladder.
During Boomsday, I played Whizzbang 100%. There were a lot of 50%+ winrate decks back then , Spell Hunter, Odd Taunt Warrior, Zoo Demon Warlock, Big Spell Mage, Tempo Mage. There's also Tesspionage rogue which was really fun.
Rastakan Whizzbang really sucks, the two nerfs really hurt a lot of the decks. Most of the decks aren't even good to begin with. Now, Most decks are inconsistent, they rely on lucky draws and perfect mulligans. I only played it for the first few weeks this expansion and only when I get bored.
Second teaser. "Okay, nice to see a lot of people theorycrafting. It's still getting me hyped. The next update better be the new expansion announcement"
I made sure to keep two 'dangling' quests just like Haussenfuss mentioned. However, I will trust your advice on this as everybody else seems to trust you. I hope your insider info is reliable.
Goddamn this is hard. We won once thanks to my brann + refreshment vendor save followed with his finishing move minion and tokens + savage roar.
Played a few more games but still lost. The closest we got was this..
We were able to combo Millhouse next turn Pyroblast + Fireball + Arcane 1 mana spell forgot the name with +4 spell damage on board but still managed to lose.
Another player conceded because I didnt have heal for him and he also probably didnt for himself. If he waited, there was a chance for me to get my lethal next turn if mechazod just increased his attack or hit me and the minions.
I rerolled my Tavern Brawl quest, I'm not playing this again. Once is enough.
As a new and F2P player, I don't mind if the decks are tier4 or lower. I only play whizzbang casually and it's really nice to be able to play with new cards. Btw, Hero Power Mage looks promising, Dragon warrior have all dragon(or almost all?) synergy cards from Rastakhan's Rumble, we also have Shudderwock Shaman. Evolve Shaman looks good too.
The hero power is lackluster but I wouldn't go as far as calling this garbage. Very few hunter spells are target spells and Dire Frenzy usually buffs your minions. The negative effects from the randomness seems inconsequntial as the spells help you out most of the time
Sometimes, a huge board and secret refill is the solution you need to win.
Will the Boomsday decks be imrpoved with new Rastakhan cards ? Because from what I'm seeing, all current Whizzbang decks have Boomsday cards except Big Spell Mage.
Warlock has 2 Boomsday Project theme decks ? Demonology Lab and Omega Project. Which is why I thought there would be two Rastakhan theme decks.
Hi everyone. I am wondering if there are other F2P players here like me who plays Whizzbang.
I started playing Hearthstone 2 months ago and the only decent deck I have right now are Whizzbang and Budget Token Shaman. I am really excied to see new decks for Whizzbang.
I just want to share what deck archetypes I am interested in being able to play(with Whizzbang) in the next expansion.I know most of this decks are not going to be constructed viable but I'm still excited.
-Big Hand Mage - I really like the flavor and art of astromancer, curio collector, meteorologist, looks very fun to play.
-Deathrattle Hunter - I just like the hunter class. Imagine it being played like Astral Tiger Druid.
- Hero Power Mage - Looks very fun to play
- Discard Warlock - High Priestess Jeklik looks very interesting.
-Shudderwock Shaman - I seldom win against this , I am intrigued in trying it.
-Togwaggle Druid - seems popular now i? I never won against this, it seems very satisfying to pull off.
I also hope Shaman and Priest decks are better this time as they had very slow decks right now. My guess is that there will be a Surrender to Madness deck for priest.
F2P Whizzbang players, what decks do you want to see ?

With this in play, your Ragnaros wont be targeted by attacks first.
Very good with a lone Ragnaros on your Field
