You are only adressing card advantage there. But in terms of tempo it would be much better to let them draw a minion than to summon one that your opponent can use in his next turn.
Even if that was like you said, Warrior already has Fierce Monkey, which trades much better as a 3-drop despite having the same amount of stats. So Hired Gun wouldn't be used even in a dubious Warrior Taunt archetype.
Simply as that, how is your path to the golden heroes right now? I still have a long way to go due to playing much more Arena than Ranked. It could be interesting to see which classes are the most popular along HS history. Just write your ranked wins and when did you start playing HS!
Warlock: Golden
Warrior: 383
Priest: 294
Paladin: 189
Hunter: 184
Shaman: 148
Rogue: 96
Druid: 72
Mage: 43
I started playing since Naxx, stopped for 5 or 6 months during TGT and came back with WotOG. Zoo and Handlock (before nerf) are my most played decks.
I don't think Hunters will replace Kindly Grandmother with this. Specially since there aren't that many beasts in actual Hunter's decks. It also competes with King's Elekk which isn't even being used right now, although that one is going out with the new rotation.
Pretty standard mage deck, surprised I went 12-0 with it actually. But the unbelievable thing were the matches I had. Only 1 rogue and 1 mage on the entire run. Faced 2 Druids, 2 Hunters, 2 Shamans, 2 Warriors, 1 Priest, 1 Warlock 1 Rogue and 1 mage. Only Paladin left. The last games, were you usually face mage after mage after mage, were: Shaman at 7-0, Hunter at 8-0, Priest at 9-0 and Warrior at 10 and 11-0. That's something you don't see every day.
Last boss against a golden Warrior was trully epic, grindy as hell and him losing over fatigue.
And yet another misplay. Had Jasonzhou dagger up and attack before the Cthun turn he would have won with Leeroy+Cold Blood+dagger on the next turn with exact lethal. It's not only about Pavel's luck, guys. There has been a clear better player here.
Insanely good card with sinergy with so many stuff, but also valuable on its own to make really good trades. This is like what Whirlwind was once in Warrior, a super versatile card with a lot of possible uses. Amazing that Priest now has one of those versatile cards. And only for 1 mana. I don't believe my eyes.

Decent 4-drop in Arena. Won't be used in Constructed.

A 4 drop that trades into... Raptor. Dust.

Hunter is getting enough deathrattle cards to at least try a deathrattle archetype. This one seems a pretty solid addition in that regard.

How is that some people have 0 wins with one class and a bunch with the rest?? Never cared to even try those classes? It seems odd to me.

That's true! I don't think this one will make the cut anyway, but well thought

What? This is an anti-aggro card, like Zombie Chow was. Why would aggro decks include somthing that heals the opponent?

Wow, everyone talking about Pavel's luck, but look at that VanCleaf misplay from Jasonzhou. Ridiculous.
