posted a message on How’d you beat Dungeon Run? Or have you?

1st time was with warlock full blown cthun with 2 additional mana crystals from both passives and lame treasures, final boss was the darkness. 2nd time was with warrior, I got perm stealth so I went with minions that have value from sticking, like frothing berserkers and raging worgens so that one was very easy, final boss was azari. 3rd time was with shaman, I got double battlecries so I went full on jade and I had upgraded hero power so those taunts saved me every game, final boss was beam guy.

Prenerfed undertaker would be too powerful now still, and even if warsong commander would be ok now it would still be the most limiting card in terms of design space

I thought dragon razakus would be very powerful this expansion but I'm realizing that straight up razakus is just better.

posted a message on Azari the Devourer is impossible!?

I was able to beat azari with a full blown cthun warlock deck (every single draft I picked cthun buffers, the rest of them sucked) even with summoning an anomolus from the full board of legendaries that he deathed to clear board. But I eventually won when he fatigued himself and I dropped a 35/35 cthun.

I wish valeera could work but I think valeera has anti-synergy with kingsbane. I actually started off with valeera in my kingsbane deck but then I played a game that went to fatigue and I realized that even though I can go infinite by shadow reflectioning the kingsbane, I'd keep top decking 1/3 weapons where as if I was without valeera I'd be able to hero power away the weapon every turn and top deck the original kingsbane and never fatigue. I really love valeera but I think you're better off cutting her if you're planning on the long game route.

posted a message on For those who are interested, this is how much the full KnC set cost me

Those numbers are correct. I usually get all the cards I need (and want) for around $200 per expansion. Getting all the cards that were around before me (I started playing 1 year ago) was more difficult.

This card can be good in a deck (miracle) with auctioneer and can be soo good alongside wild pyromancer. You can easily deal 4,5 damage to all minions.

posted a message on New Shaman Minion - Kobold Hermit

The price of a minion with a free hero power is 2-3 stats on a 1 mana card. Mage-elven archer hunter-leper gnome priest-voodoo doctor warlock-kobold librarian paladin-lost in the jungle rogue-nzoths first mate. So obviously this is extremely overcosted for just a free hero power, but it has the slight edge of letting you choose which totem, and that's comparable to a justicar hero power. So pretending that kobold hermit sets the standard for this price let's see how other cards would add up. Would you play 2 1/1 draw a card(warlock)? That's novice engineer, so no. How bout 2 1/1 deal 2 damage? Nope. How bout 2 1/1 restore 4 health? Nope. How bout 2 1/1 equip a 2/2? Maybe, but probably not because jade claws is a much better card. How bout 2 1/1 deal 3 damage to enemy hero? No way. How bout 2 1/1 summon 2 silver hand recruits? Definitely not, but definitely yes in a SHR deck but that's different because of the synergy. How bout 2 1/1 gain 4 armor? Nah. How bout 2 1/1 hero gains 2 attack and 2 armor? Nope. How bout 2 1/1 choose a totem? The answer is it's not good enough, so even though it's decent card it's just not on a high enough power level to see play.

    1) Raza priest will become tier 2/3 decks as lots of people including myself will be putting The Darkness into all my decks to shut them down. All the  potential EZ big decks should make Raza priest miserable as well. If Raza continues to be tier 1, i'll probably quit HS.

    2) Any of the Druid decks that ramps hard will become top tier as will there isn't much from stopping them. Will look for the vid where turn 6 druid plays Kun + Medive => Twig + UI and instant conceal.

    3) Tempo Rogue and Zoolock decks will become tier 2 as there are way too many AOEs now

İ dont think the darkness will stop the razakus. They have death, kazakus potion and new board clear to deal with it
Are we still into this? The primary purpose of playing The Darkness is to deactivate Raza and Kaza because they will now have duplicates in their deck. The 20/20 is just Plan B is you will...you should not be counting the 20/20 as a win condition.
Can't see how The Darkness is a strong counter to Razakus. Yes, if you play him on curve he will be a pain in the ass but you really need to play him before the Priest plays Raza. If the priest plays Raza first the darkness  only affects Kazakus, and he is dispensable. So the entire strategy of the darkness revolves around playing the darkness before Raza.

Well, as long as at least 2 candles aren't drawn, Raza will stay in hand, giving you a few turns to rat it out.
You missed my point. You actually need to draw The Darkness before Raza for him to work, and since he is a legendary it will not happen often.
Jesus Christ, the darkness is the worst tech card in the history of tech cards! Which decks exactly do all you people plan on putting him in?? Tempo decks? If you're playing this on turn 4 in your tempo deck then that is game-losing. If you play this in control decks you will lose anyways and it's soo bad vs aggro that you can't run it. And let's think about it for a second...the only time this is effective is when this is played on turn 4 and the priest has razanduin available on curve, which is less than half as likely as having razanduin on curve. And in order for this tech to be successful it has to be in a deck that loses vs razanduin on curve but beats them when they don't have it on curve. The only decks I can think of are the slower druid decks and some mid-range decks, but putting the darkness in those decks will make your winrate vs aggro so much worse.

posted a message on Why Priest won't be as broken as many believe

I really really don't understand why people think the darkness will counter razakus, You'll need to have it down before Raza gets down otherwise it does nothing, and even in the case that you do get it down before Raza all that's doing is delaying them a bit, and if you can't activate kazakus it's not the worst thing ever. And besides, the Priest is very happy that you're spending 4 Mana doing nothing, so essentially it's an equal trade off. And did I mention that no one will run the darkness because the card suck?? Because no one will run the darkness, he sucks. I feel like the developers have an objective of making sure priest is the best but people will complain that there's no way to counter them so they made the shittiest tech card in history. If youre a tempo deck and you play this on turn 4, that alone will lose you the game...so don't get too excited. Save your excitement for in 4 months from now when the set will rotate.

posted a message on Kingsbane...the new Marsh Queen?

You are wrong about the fact that kingsbane needs all the weapon buffs, it really only needs double deadly poison and leeching poison. You don't run pirate buffs or envenom. I'm wondering if blade flurry will be good with a a kingsbane deck
