Pretty good challenge this time around. Took three tries to kill him and it was only through really good play and a bit of card luck between my partner and I.
I'd love to give Artifact a try, but there are so many competing CCGs with no paywall for entry that I don't think I'll ever get there. I'm fully willing to shell out $20 for a game but I feel like Artifact is different in that I'm just paying the entry fee and if I really want to have fun I have to keep paying more and more (like a physical card game). It's a pass for me for now.
It's definitely statted correctly for the effect - that is, you want this card to be heavy on health to keep adjacent minions alive longer. I like the idea of it keeping my Zilliax alive longer or possibly drawing out some hard removal prior to the end game for my control decks. But that five mana cost is going to drive some hard decisions.
Super broken for 7 mana. Normally you have combined stats of 14 this has 15 and an ability. Very good arena card
Not broken as that ability doesn't immediately impact the board. Unless you can give it rush somehow, this is a card that is subject to hard removal which makes it risky to play.
No chance - they limit the design space too much. Every new card has to be built with the dev team thinking of quests; rotating them to wild frees them up a little (not completely, but a little).
Aesthetically, this is my new favorite card of all time. Holy crap - the animation, the music, the phrasing on that battlecry. I freaking love it.
I also really like the card. I know people will just scoff and say, 'it can be silenced'. Well, no shit. Almost all cards can be silenced. Pair this with a turn 10 cube (imagine if the loa is on the board, too!) and you're in freaking business. I like that it does force a decision on your opponent. They know what horror will pop out of the shark when killed, so they have to have a solution for two cards, not just one. Cool stuff.

Sometimes you just have to do what you think is right.

I'll fully admit that it's a card that I really wish I managed to draw. Might be about time to craft it...

Team 5 is a absolutely KILLING it with the art this time around. So many cards that will demand some golden copies.

Not sure if a placeholder was up when you saw it or not, but I think the artwork is fantastic. I can't wait to see the golden.

Kingsbane Rogue always gives me issues and now I just see more card draw and pirate synergy creeping in. I'm terrified.

Holy crap! Targeted discard? Retrieve discarded cards? They finally got this working the way it should work!
