I'll give it chance - at least, from my perspective, adapt means you get to make a choice that hopefully gives you an advantage based on the situation. Enhance-o Mechano was fully randomized so 66% of the time, that minion that you needed to get windfury to seal victory, wasn't getting it. Inherently, the majority of the time, the card felt like a disappointment.
Very unfortunate. Don't understand how Hearthpwn just doesn't kill off buff cards, no it is not part of the paladin identity. No good paladin deck builds a deck around buffs. No deck should have to. The quest won't be played competitively
While I don't think it's up to Hearthpwn to kill off cards, I do agree with your other points :)
I have no idea if this card will be good (I think it will be tough to play well, but will make for some really fun games), but I love the aesthetic direction that hunter is going in with Un'Goro. Dinosaurs. Lots of them. This is what everyone wanted and Blizz is delivering on that.
I agree - that's why my next sentence was referencing the relevancy of pirate decks!
My purpose of bringing up the crab was mostly because I like these styles of cards - cards that represent hard counters to a particular tribe. I think every tribe should have something like this as a potential check from the meta getting too out of hand ala pirates.
I'm a fan of the idea of cards like this and Hungry Crab, which can stop certain decks in their tracks. But in practice, when was the last time anyone threw a crab in their deck? I suspect this will see some play due to how relevant pirate decks are right now, especially by faster decks that are heavier at the 2 mana point, but I think most of us will end up keeping Acidic Swamp Ooze in our two-slot.
In the reveal video, they showed it as still asleep upon being revived, but I think that was after they killed it by using it to attack that turn. So I guess we don't know for sure.
I'm sure the answer is 'no', but how awesome would it be if you could play this with Mayor Noggenfogger and have it potentially go face when your opponent drops a card.
Edit: I say this knowing full well that getting both of those cards on the board at the same time would be extremely unlikely. But it could be entertaining as hell if it did work out in some 'for fun only' matches!

So, this just automatically makes a lot of Shaman decks now, right? Holy crap....

Holy crap, now this is a ballsy card. Difficult to use, but absolutely transformative to the way a deck can be played.

Play Emperor Thaurissan so you can get them both out in the same turn!
Then realize you're playing Wild and cry a little...

When your opponent plays Ivory Knight and heals for 8, be very afraid. I think this card is going to cause a lot of anger.

Turn each game into a Tavern Brawl!

Nah, your own face is an invalid target for one of your minions, so that likely wouldn't be possible.

This reveal needs some flannel.
