I run this in my Warlock Mechathune deck. It's possible to use the battle damage of the card to upgrade your spellstone when you target your face. You don't lose any health after the life steal effect goes off.
I have been working on this same idea all day. If I can make a suggestion it'd be to use 2 injured blade masters instead of the taunt that does 6 damage. It spaces out the damage and still gets the same result.
Why? The only spells in the deck cost 10. Archmage at 1 won't give you 11 mana that turn. Luna's Pocket galaxy won't draw you more than 1 card a turn. Those cuts look like they would only hurt the deck.
6-1 at rank 25. Solid deck. Getting your hero card up and running is so important early on. Deathlord feels kind of weak with no way to easily clear it's new minion. Maybe Cold light Oracle instead?
Faceless Manipulator just got changed so that it counts it's stats from hand instead of it's stats once it transforms. This means that 2 quest completion tokens are taken out of the deck. If you draw Malygos and 2 faceless before you hit quest completion and play the reward then you're pretty much dead in the water. Not only do the faceless clog up your hand, but they take mana away from your early turns when you try to get rid of them so you can cycle through the deck. It's already hard enough to draw the right cards to complete the quest, but the one reward was the ability to OTK reliably. This change is so bad that I would cut them from the deck all together. With out them the deck slows down considerably and even the slightest pressure will over run the board.
You have no shadow word pain and you have a lot of cheap spells. Anduin is great for board clears, armor, and pinging the other side. I'd say it's a core card even though I've only used it a hand full of times.
Love this deck! First time hitting legend. I took out Free from Amber and replaced it with thought steal. It helped get my over the finish line and push past rank 3.

Crafted a golden Whizbang when it first came out. I find it is mostly fun for 80 gold friend quests. Other times ya kinda just feel bad about losing.

The new patch makes quest druid tier 6. Faceless no longer counts towards quest completion.

I find that even with Barnes I lose agro match ups because I muligan for removal.
