Mewdrops posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 5.08 - Submission TopicJust a simple weapon buff for hunter. Since all hunter weapons are things that launch projectiles (be it arrows or man-eating-fish), it makes sense that reloading them would give them extra durability.
Note: That's an elf, not a dwarf.

The card has vanilla stats for 5 mana, however I believe it's balanced because the effect can both be a blessing or a curse. If you are at low Health, you want your meaty Taunt minions to be protecting you, however if you have this card out you either make yourself a target or can't gain Armor. If you have high Health, this card is good for protecting big threats, including this card which is slightly aggressively statted, especially when you combo it with cards such as Feral Rage or Bite, but of course, even with your Hero Power you can protect your minions from at least one Attack.

Alkoviak posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from InvincibleInvisibleDragonNinja >>I don't really feel that salty, just a little.....weird. I feel a little bad that someone auto-friends me after a match just to insult me and run away (in Casual, like usual), but is that somehow okay if I was playing pirates? All I got was "lol playing cancer at rank 10, f****t"
My thoughts are this;
- Yes, Turn 1 STB into turn 2 Coin, dagger, STB is pretty lucky, but I'm so used to my pirates getting blasted, I figured you might have had a Volcanic Potion or something.
- I'm sorry for the "Wow" emote, but your turn 3 concede genuinely surprised me. I shouldn't rub salt into wounds, maybe you were have a bad run of the day. I apologize.
- Yes, I have pirates in my deck, because it makes it work better. Honestly I feel like Rogues should be the ones allowed to play pirates with a hero power like that.
- Since you didn't concede right when you saw I was Rogue, I'm sorry I wasn't playing a more "pure" non-pirate Miracle Rogue like I'm supposed to, but I don't have Edwin. Also I don't even know you.
- Maybe if you'd played past turn 2, you'd have seen the rest of my "cancer" Jade N'Zoth Rogue...
I feel you, I play a cancer burgle rogue on casual too and I have people who concede early too thinking is the normal meta rogue piracle face deck.But sorry not sorry to play the pirate package. It is just the best possible early game and if you don't run it, people who run it just gonna roll over your face like there is no tomorrow. -

Can't be targeted by spells: so you can't silence your Master Creation.
Control: it's in your side of the battlefield.
I love Joel Lagerwall's illustration The Goblin and his Master Creation, so I decided to design a two-parts card.

I don't think so. You always discover 3 different cards if possible (if there's only 2 cards left in a deck you'd only discover 2), so even if you see one of these, you'll usually have 2 other options, unless your deck is running out of spells.
Also, contrary to every other discover effect in the game, you should be guaranteed a good pull, because you know exactly what cards you put in your deck.

No Maximillian of Northshire? Sad.

The current Shaman is what happens when a class gets all its "spots" filled in.
Shaman has always had the potential for burst damage, what with Bloodlust, Windfuries, Flametongue Totem, Lava Burst, etc. But was considered bad for lacking in other areas.
Over several expansions, Shaman now has; strong early game minions (Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem), strong mid-range minions (Thing from Below, Flamewreathed Faceless), cheap but strong weapons (Spirit Claws, Jade Claws), good heals (Healing Wave, Jinyu Waterspeaker), spot removals (Hex, Lightning Bolt, Jade Lightning, and Crackle in Wild), multiple AoEs (Maelstrom Portal, Lightning Storm, Elemental Destruction), late game potential (White Eyes, and Jade Golems), and a cheaper Mass Dispel to disrupt other people's strategies (Devolve).
Basically, Shaman has almost everything it'll ever need, to the point where it has almost no weak-spots, and can accomplish some other classes niches better than they can, which I think hurts class identity a bit. The only way to fix that would be a massive power-creep of all the classes, which can go wrong in SO many ways.
So, rather than making an intentional power-creep expansion, maybe they could just fix up the Classic set so they can keep making interesting cards for the classes, instead of blatant pick-me-up cards like Kabal Talonpriest.

Wrong on both counts. The first thing you should bring is a towel.

*hugs Brann Bronzebeard*
I don't want him to go-oo-oooooooooo! *sobs*
"It's alright, friend. I'll always be there in your collection. We could even meet again in Wild, someday."
But you'll only be played in broken combo decks in Wild! You were part of the C'Thun Mage I played when I first started. You were what made Jaderattle Rogue fun! I'm gonna miss you so much! *sniffles*
"There's always new adventures to be had, and new friends to be made. That doesn't mean we'll forget the ones we had, but there's always a time for saying goodbye."
O-O-Okay.......You're right. *deep breath* I'm okay now. So long, Brann. Say hi to the crew for me.......*smiles*......And don't forget.....
*smiles* "We are the, Explorers League!"
And we are a League of Explorers!!!

I like how they made Aya's hero power cost 4 mana to keep it from being broken, and it's still crazy powerful.
Last game, I even had a Counterfeit Coin to start using it on turn 3.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Suffer, Shamans! Suffer! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!
*ahem*
First few games after patch were pretty good.

Uh, guys? Nobody said you'd have 1 less card in your hand thanks to this.If you look at the video, the Priest has 4 cards in his opening hand and no coin, ergo, this is added to your hand in addition to your opening hand. Since you probably have to add the quest to your deck, this means your deck is actually thinned by one card, and it's not like priest has traditionally had the most proactive turn 1/2 anyway.Actually, if there's a Rogue quest out there, that means Rogue would always have a 1 mana spell to combo with. Neat!Nevermind. Apparently it just always shows up in your mulligan.

To the guys who think they're being original by using pre-pirates Midrange Shaman in Casual;
It doesn't matter WHEN you net-decked, you're still net-decking!
