Personally for me when I first started Hearthstone and got demolished by T1 decks I remember thinking, "Okay...that was some neat stuff. I want those cards!". Not "That was bullshit! How come they have those amazing cards?!".

That is exactly what rich kids say...People that are not gonna invest money in this game,or starting right now, will probably leave after this game because they feel like they have been raped.
The only way to get passed this stage is to only play arena if you are good.Otherwise you wont be getting any wins vs t1 decks right from the start.Except if you drop hard cash.

Well if they are never going to invest any money in the game then Blizzard hasn't lost anything. I personally don't ever play a game with the intent of playing it continuously unless I plan on spending money on it. I don't enjoy games unless I have access to pretty much everything in the game. While I realize this isn't an option for everyone, it is just the type of gamer I am.

Cubelock is 12th best deck and control Warlock is 3rd. So yeah cube Warlock not a good choice.

LOL, says who?  Vicious syndicate?  HSreplay?  Tempostorm?  You do realize that nobodies rankings are gospel.  There are many many takes on the meta, and "rankings" change depending on what rank you are at, what time of day and month it is, etc.  Saying "Cubelock is 12th best" as if it is cut and dry and you can actually rank decks that tightly is beyond ridiculous.  Plenty of people have taken "the 12th best deck" to legend, so how exactly is it "not a good choice"????  Try not to be so closed-minded about your favorite rankings website.  It might actually help you in your deck choice and play.
Actually it was Blizzard's Mike Donais (Hearthstone's Principal Game Designer) that came out and said according to their data Cubelock was the 12th best deck prior to the nerfs.
That being said I am still using Cubelock as I like the way it plays and my ladder climb is going fine for now (Rank 3 currently). But yeah...it wasn't some random website that posted that information. It was one of the main guys from Hearthstone.

posted a message on Running Cubelock and it's okay in casual, but...

In that match-up I have found in the few games I have run into Kingsbane, you have to be super aggressive. You need to smash them in the face hard as you can turn after turn forcing them to trade or bounce your stuff to stay alive. Pretty much only copy Giants and Doomguards. If it gets to the point where you are having to copy Voidlords to stay alive you have already lost more than likely as you aren't putting any pressure on them and they are just going to grind you out. It is worth noting that when I look at my deck tracker stats, it appears I have only run into 4 Kingsbane decks, in the last week of playing (Rank 5 to 3). Out of the four matches, I lost 2 and won 2. But the fact they seem to be so rare I am fine with that statistic.

posted a message on Void Lord

Void Lord is fine as an epic. The only cards that make it seem so powerful are Skull of the Man'ari and Possessed Lackey. At 9 he is fine. At 4/5 w/ coin or 6 however he is a wall like none other. As a Warlock player I can admit Skull and Lackey are very strong cards and I can see how they will be issues for years to come (since every time Blizzard wants to make a new Demon card they will have to go, "Hmm...but Skull and Lackey make this busted.").

At the Day of Expansionrelease i spent all Gold on the new packs, then save till the next release, etc pp.

Same. I'm right at 5,000 now. Waiting patiently for the next set. Hope to have between 6k-7k. That plus the 50 pack special when a set is released is normally all I have to spend on a set to have what I need to play the game.

posted a message on Who is the rudest hero? (Poll)

None of the emotes really bother me since I can just Squelch them if the opponent decides to spam. I mainly play Warlock right now and use Nemsy because she is freaking adorable in most cases but I feel like a arse when I tell my opponent "Well Played", even when I am being sincere, because the way she says it comes across as being a smart ass. lol. "WOW...Well Played."

I normally don't post in the fan creations section but I had to post regarding this. They take themselves WAY too serious if they kicked you for creating that card. That card is hilarious. Well done.

    Quote from maroon5five >>

Obsidian Statue is not broken. Once Barnes and Y'Shaarj rotates it will be a pretty fair card. How many times have you seen it played outside of big priest? Probably not a lot. Big priest is about to lose some of its most broken combos, so after that happens this card will likely seem a whole lot more fair.

Completely agree. You are also correct about Big Priest losing stuff. They are fixing to lose a ton of stuff:
I will be shocked if that deck survives the season rotation.

Technically ... all income in the US is taxable...if you really wanted to be a goody two-shoes ... you should self report anything you win. (yeaaaaaah ... I am sure everyone will do that!)
That is very true. You are actually suppose to report your tips if you are say a pizza delivery driver but I don't know of anyone who ever does that. If it is cash and it goes straight to their pocket I do not blame them one bit for not claiming it.

Are you caught up on the giveaway? Blizzard is giving you 1200 for expenses

Yeah but then you'd have to pay taxes on THAT 1200 also! lol
Uuuuhmm.... that's wheree you're wrong. Do you need to pay taxes on the vote your champion packs too? i think not. Winning something like a car or a lottery is IRL, it's different then something on a videogame. You don't actually have to pay taxes on the packs and the merch, only on the prize money

Any thing you win with a value below $50 is not taxed. Winnings over 50 is. The 1200 will cover most of the taxes but depending on tax things i dont really understand you may still be on the hook for a couple hundred.
I won $1,000 from SOE Live in 2013 for finishing in 2nd place at a PVP Tournament. Never paid a dime to taxes. Was I suppose to? Probably...but hey I didn't and it never caused an issue.

In the United States you have to win over a certain amount of prizes or money before you have to pay taxes on it. I want to say it is $3,000 but don't quote me on that. A pack in Hearthstone is essentially $1.17 a pack if you break down the best deal package Blizzard offers (60 packs for $69.99). So that means 3,000 packs is $3,510 which would warrant the winner having to pay taxes on it. I cannot imagine the taxes on $3,510 being $1,200 but even if you lump them together the winner gets $4,710 in prizes and money which I'm certain $1,200 can pay for. If the taxes on it was 25% then that would mean the winner would owe $1,177.50 which is pretty damn close to $1,200 so that might be how it all adds up.

I’ve never seen that mail.  Do you have to opt in or simply check spam?

If you have the "Don't receive updates from Blizzard." selected in your account settings you won't receive the email. I had no idea it existed for the longest time either until one day my friend was telling me the stats they told him and I was like "What are you talking about?". Then I went and opt'd to receive updates and I now get it every month like clockwork. Also, as others have stated, double check your Spam folder as well.

I feel like you are going for Aluneth.

The card can draw you cards quickly to help you get what you need, if you aren't prepared for the effect, it can cost you the game, and far as I can make out for the last part is you are stating it lost out at the market because it is too greedy in some cases.

Just my shot in the dark man.
