The Cube with Prince Taldaram and Faceless Manipulator is going to make some crazy combos.

Bran in wild = summon 4
Bran + Rivendare in wild = summon 8
What is your thought process on Brann plus Cube? Cause last I checked Brann affects battlecries, not deathrattles.
I think he means that Brann would trigger twice destroying the minion and effectively hold two sets of two of the minion for the Deathrattle to spawn.  As we know from Moat Lurker, however, Brann's Battlecry does not work that way since the second Battlecry doesn't have a minion to target.  Brann is not a factor in determining how many copies Cube spawns with his Deathrattle.

    Quote from WhatAChamp >>

This will need another card in the set to help, probably by reducing the cost of spells.

The other legendary could be something like: For every demon on the board, reduce the cost of spells by 1 (max 3).

Although I agree that I would love cards to help this combo, I doubt Blizz will provide any significant support to it. Losing your deck is not considered to be a "fun" experience. And Blizz is all about shutting down the anti-fun. Although, they do also like the health management aspect of warlock so perhaps they could make a Bloodbloom-effect legendary weapon. That being said, you could combo it with Violet Illusionist for a massive board and the 10/10 so I doubt they would do that either.
In terms of the legendary weapon, I would love to see a super cheap weapon that lets you choose which card to discard. Blizz seems pretty intent on discard warlock working and that's a way to add consistency.
I'd actually like to see it shuffle discarded cards back into your deck.  It's powerful, yes, but you'd have to Life Tap way more than usual to get it back into your hand.  However, this ensures the cards are not lost forever in Control decks, only removed from your hand temporarily.

does anybody knows at what time we are getting this card?

The patch that brings Marin the Fox with it will likely be released at either 10:00 PST (half an hour after the time this post was made) or 12:00 PST.

    Quote from thebitterfig >>

Another thing--I don't know if has been addressed--suppose you cast something like Elemental Destruction, when you have the lesser Spellstone in your hand.  Will the 5-overload count as 3 and then provide 2 credit towards the second upgrade, or does the first upgrade say "exact change only" and only do that one upgrade, with no credit toward the second upgrade.

It has been confirmed that excess "credit" will not be applied.  The card can only be upgraded once per play.

I'm not sure why people are giving so much weight to how many cards will be destroyed by Azari's Battlecry.  What matters about Azari's Battlecry is that, once he's played, your opponent has zero cards left.  Your opponent now has to win with only what they have on the board and what's in their hand while also dealing with a 10/10.  If they can't kill Azari or you with what they have left, you win.

So, the end goal is definitely worth it, but it still remains to be seen if Warlock gets what it needs to survive until you can play all the Seals.

    Quote from Kovachut >>

    1 question:

If I play Elixir of Life on a lifesteal minion, will I get double healing? And before someone answers with the probable No, then how come Corpsetaker heals for twice with Brann Bronzebeard.

Lifesteal is a stackable keyword, so it can be applied multiple times to a minion.  Brann Bronzebeard grants double everything to Corpsetaker (provided the proper minions are in your deck), but it really only matters for Lifesteal since Taunt, Divine Shield, and Windfury are unable to stack.  Elixir of Life, then, will give a minion like Acolyte of Agony two Lifesteals.
Something else interesting to think about is Frost Lich Jaina; if any Elementals with Lifesteal are printed, Frost Lich Jaina gives it Lifesteal again.  That would be neat.

posted a message on Hearthstone Live Q&A Recap - Nine New Arena Cards, Player Stats, Random Card Backs, Dungeon Runs

It's something I'd be able to wrap my head around a little better if the setting were something other than treasure-encrusted caves, in which the reason we're going there (thematically) in the first place is for the explicit purpose of getting treasure.  In this particular case, working out a way to dole out rewards to align with the theme would have been appreciated.

If we were, say, journeying through Icecrown in this format, not having any rewards would be easier to swallow since treasure isn't an explicit theme.  One of the primary themes of Kobolds and Catacombs is treasure, and the fact that the flagship new mode does not yield actual in-game treasure results in the themes of the expansion ringing hollow.

So completing Dungeon Run, a mode all about descending through catacombs and fighting your way through bosses in a journey to find treasure, yields no rewards besides the card back?

I feel like something is missing here.

How does this card work?  Does the extra effect appear when you draw the card?  Does it appear when you cast it?  Does it randomize every turn?

All the effects are extremely strong except for lifesteal.

The card transforms upon being drawn from your deck.  It only transforms once.  If this ends up in your opening hand, you don't get a bonus effect.  Same if you try to get this from Shadow Visions.

posted a message on New Mechanics: Spellstones and Unidentified Magic Weapons.

The fact that every class gets a Spellstone is going to be pretty exciting.  Shaman's already has me thrilled at the possibilities for the class (I want Shaman to be good in a non-Token/Aggro way), and Druid's is probably one of the most solid removal spells in the entire game.  I personally want to see what Warlock's card will be the most out of the ones we haven't seen yet.

posted a message on New Priest Weapon - Dragon Soul

In light of the official confirmation that the effect does not remove Durability upon being triggered, I'm pretty excited for the card now.  The synergy with Priest as a whole right now is pretty great too, considering cards like Power Word: Shield and Shadow Visions see play in virtually every Priest deck already.  If you can summon 2 Dragons on average per game it's worth it, any more is just gravy.

posted a message on New Priest Spell - Unidentified Elixir

I think the only version that's shaky in terms of current Tempo Priest builds is Vitality (the Lifesteal version), since it would only really matter against other minion-based tempo decks.  Summoning a 1/1 copy has surprisingly good targets in Shadow Ascendant, Radiant Elemental, and Cobalt Scalebane and might end up receiving more targets.  Hope (the Deathrattle one) would be awesome for buffing a bigger minion, trading against a Bonemare'd minion and letting you replay the minion to give you more late-game push.  And Purity (Divine Shield) is pretty great all around.

This is a good card if a Tempo Priest deck comes about.
