Possibly. Depends on the cards in that deck. It won't replace Soul of the Murloc, but this is a nice option if you got some nice deathrattles. Will it see play? idk. You may be right for existing token decks. But the cost is appropriate me thinks.
Given that shaman has Bloodlust, I wouldn't call this clunky. It's way better than a bunch of 1/1 murlocs or 2/2 treants. Soul of the Forest is the same cost and very usable because of Savage Roar
You can run this as your only secret and it'd still be good. How many decks are going to never play a spell? Only a few; many are going to forced to eventually. This is purely and simply a delayed 2 mana draw 2. This is very good.
But seriously, this couldn't be a hunter card? Come on.
maybe. but you got to remember 7+ cost minions generally need to affect board state on the turn they are played else it's usually a lost of tempo given that single target removal is much cheaper than this. You can't be sure it'll last till next turn. Also the second one will not be able to attack that turn. Still value, but easier for the opponent to deal with.
Two 12/12s on one turn is much harder to deal with, you have a much higher chance of hitting face with at least one of them. And if on the off chance they don't remove both, that's 24 face damage. Nice!
This is purely for evolve and summon random effects (particularly summon random demons). I don't think this is really any good even if you can find a way to cheat it out for less mana, since it takes up a deck slot and is utter garbage if you can't cheat it out.
Demon Hunter needs maybe one more option for good big demons for that archetype to take off and this ain't it. It may allow people to play big demon on a budget though. Taking back this statement after re-reviewing DH cards. They can cheat this out several ways, silence it, duplicate it, and bypass taunts. This sounds much more promising.
Also, I'm becoming a believer in the silence priest tactic, and in general is boon for Warlock (though probably not going to be slotted into a constructed deck).
A two card, 10 mana 12/12 is still bad. And Unsleeping Soul (the one thing that would make this good) costs to much to play on the same turn. Silence priest has better options.
No. he has a point. It's only shitty for that mana cost. While there on high-value demons to play relative to their mana cost, they can be a real bad low roll for Galakrond. A 12/12 would feel pretty nice. The pool currently means the likelihood of Galakrond pulling bad value minions for 7 mana is higher than we would like. This offsets that nicely.
Without another board clear, this is alright. Waiting an additional turn for the board wipe is like a more expensive Corrupting Mist but with a 12/12 body. This is good value, but at turn 5 single target removal is likely. It's actually real good value, but then you're still taking a bunch of damage to your face in a lot of situations.
With Hellfire or something, this is insane. It's like a better Earthquake. It's comparable to Earthquake. Tokens summoned from deathrattles are generally easier to kill and don't demand a Twisting Nether
Side note: this could be interesting in eggs giving multiple ways to play this (hellfire if behind, eggs if ahead).
Good thing 1/3 is out of range for Priest to kill in standard.

This is a fun idea. Needs card draw.

Probably my favorite card design of the set (not talking about the art; which is fine I guess).

Okay, Blizzard.

Irrespective of the meta this will be good in half your matchups, useless in the other half, but we may not care.

I stand corrected. It's kind of a dead card in your hand until then, but that's some value. Not sure how well the two packages co-exist.
Also leaves some room for some Kael'thas Sunstrider shenanigans now that I think about it. Which opens possibilities for other classes to duplicate.
