Quote from PukeChicken >>It is pretty bad. I play quest Shaman. I can do about 50% vs. pirate warrior because I have good removal vs. the smaller minions. The one I can't stand and refuse to play is the quest warlock. They effectively remove all of my minions while gaining health. If I do get them in trouble they pull out the big minions which I don't have enough removal for.
I'm a little concerned about the upcoming release. There are no support cards for my type of deck. Maybe I can switch out and play the hero card if it has enough value (I think it does). I am worried that some of these new decks will be very powerful. I think the new warlock variant will be nasty.
On a positive note, mage has been neutered. That deck was horrible to play against.
I personally hate the Warlock Quest more than Quest Warrior as well, even though Defias Cannonneer is a ridiculous card as of right now and needs a nerf (which i think would end up taking care of the problem). With Quest Warlocks i don’t even care if their overall winrate is 33% or something, i just want their whole decklist wiped from the earth. There’s so many giants that cost no mana, free 6/6 taunts, free 5/4 rush minions that get resurrected by Raise Dead. And on top of it all they go through their whole deck and then burn you with their own fatigue. No wonder people only want to play dumb aggro decks with that sort of garbage around

I play a deck that triggers the secrets very quickly...a dinomancer warlock. So I find that they cannot build a Christmas tree of secrets against me. Besides, stealing counterspell is as good as taking two secrets away...and iceblock has obvious benefits. Besides a 4/3 body is better when when it has to be used against non-secret classes. This is just what I have found.

Thank you all for the constructive comments. Murloc Mage??? I'm going to have to look into that one! Good point that Wild format isn't supposed to change that much. I guess if it did that would be evidence of an overwhelming power creep. As for standard, I guess I just need to keep searching for an enjoyable deck. That priest/Amet combo is crazy. I got beat by it once that I can remember. Minions coming onto the board with 20-something health. Pretty rough to deal with.

You know what? Those are excellent and well stated points. I agree. Thank you. There has got to be a better solution than what they've got going. Hopefully, this won't increase their revenue in the way they expect and they will have to go back to the drawing board.

Oh boy. I don't often chime in on these things but I feel the need to on this one. Although I'm not outraged about this little marketing package I do think it's ridiculous. $80 is just too steep of a price to be paying for an electronic card game. The price point is just too high and I feel that it is a barrier to entry for new players. I feel that the skin, although I want it, is being used as bait for people to spend a butt load of money. If they are that in need of an income stream, I would rather pay a subscription and get rid of the F2play crowd. I realize that is an unpopular idea, but really, F2P doesn't result in any income or improvement to the game so who cares? So...my vote is to institute a small subscription fee and keep those price points for new expansions down. Flame away, F2P.

I'm with ya. it's hard for me too.

Right now I see it as a rock paper scissors meta. IN GENERAL aggro pally beats non-lock control, non-lock control beats cubelock, cubelock beats aggro pally. There are some less significant decks out there...a lot of overused spiteful decks, horrible to play against shudderwock decks, and people trying to make hunter and warrior viable with minimal success.
My fear is that if cubelock is castrated, there will be NOTHING to counter aggro pally and we will see that braindeas deck exclusively for four months.
Although I think it would be good to nerf cubelock in some way, I dont think the solution to fix this awful meta is that simple.

I've done it before. Then I realized i'm just being a salty baby and wasting my time, my opponent's time, AND still losing the game. And I can also picture my oppenent giggling at me which makes me want to go kick a puppy and punch a toddler in the nose.
I think what's worse is people that just up and leave the game after you make a big play and you have to wait through several turns until the game decides to tell you that "Your oppenent has left".
I'm a rapid turn taker and I would prefer to shave some time off of each turn. Half the time would be about right...45 seconds per turn. If it takes you longer than that to decide what to do, you're doing something wrong...or there's something wrong with your medulla ablongada.

I just played against this deck and conceded with about 15 weasels up in my junk. It is horrifying. Thank the makers that it doesn't work very often.

You are crazy! These are fun and crazy cards. You don't know at all how they fit into the meta or change the meta until you play them. Have you no imagination at all? Even if they don't fit the meta, who wants to play facehunter and secret mage all the time? More options means more fun to me. I shouldn't even bother responding. Either absolutely nothing would make you happy OR you're trolling....either way.
