It's a really good effort and you cards are beautiful.  I agree with the feedback that the above responder gave as as far as mechanics.  Also...the overall fear factor of the pictures may be too much.  You know Blizzard is on the fun cartoon side rather than the horror.

I've been running this deck for a week now.  I am currently 39-33, level 15-10.  Early on I had a lot of success vs. the Gal-Shaman but recently they have been moving too quickly to get out their Galkorond followed by Shudderwok to beat on me while I still have my health pool low.  I have losing records vs. Shaman (8-9), Pally (0-2), and Rogue (5-8).  All other classes I have a solid win rate.

Following the Shaman nerfs, I don't think they will be a problem any longer.  Next up will be the Rogue problem.  I think it might be necessary to tech in a silence...and maybe even an acidic ooze.  That weapon and buff deathrattle combo is deadly.

Anyhow, it is a fun deck.  Thanks for your work.

posted a message on I'm getting tired of secret mages

I play a deck that triggers the secrets very quickly...a dinomancer warlock.  So I find that they cannot build a Christmas tree of secrets against me.  Besides, stealing counterspell is as good as taking two secrets away...and iceblock has obvious benefits.  Besides a 4/3 body is better when when it has to be used against non-secret classes.  This is just what I have found.

Absolutely agree.  At this point it's either Reno Lock or Secret mage.  At levels 6-4 I have played 28% secret mages.  That is a crazy amount.  Accordingly, I have adopted two lovely Kezan Mystics into my deck and they feast on those counterspells and iceblocks.  Mage tears taste like candy to me.

Kezan Mystic seems to work well because it keeps them from getting into a rythm.  Actually, I also decided to add an Eater of Secrets as well.  So now I am running two Kezans and one Eater of Secrets.  I have faced mages 30 percent of the time since and gone 3-1.  8-5 overall.  Can't beat anything that runs a heavy board.  I'm toying with the idea of throwing in a Shadowflame...but I'm not sure what I can afford to get rid of.

Thank you all for the constructive comments.  Murloc Mage???  I'm going to have to look into that one!  Good point that Wild format isn't supposed to change that much.  I guess if it did that would be evidence of an overwhelming power creep.  As for standard, I guess I just need to keep searching for an enjoyable deck.  That priest/Amet combo is crazy.  I got beat by it once that I can remember.  Minions coming onto the board with 20-something health.  Pretty rough to deal with.

My humble thoughts and opinions on this expansion.

I have not been playing standard very much because I felt that there was really only a couple decks that were playable.  The Murloc madness decks (Shaman and Pally), the Reno mage decks, and the mech hunter decks.  TBH, I found playing against these decks so frustrating I didn't even try to adjust my play to counter them.  And I don't really have any desire to play as those decks.

So, I have been playing wild in the area of ranks 4-8.  I have been playing as a kind of weird dinomancer/lackey warlock.  I very much enjoy the deck.  I enjoy decks that have a lot of versatility and different ways to win.  I have found myself playing against secret mage/time warp mage 25% of the time...then big priest 20%, quest shaman 15%, and variety for the rest.  Since I have been playing so much against secret mage, I've added two Kezan Mystics to my deck.  That has helped immensely.

I don't carry a lot of CC so I pretty much auto-concede against the Baku Pally.  Luckily, those are rare.  I also auto-concede against the timewarp mage.  Honestly, that is my most hated deck to play against.  If there was one card I could banish from the game, the timewarp quest would be it.  I'll leave it at that.

I don't know.  I don't think that this expansion has changed the wild meta a whole lot.  The deck types are still largely the same.  Zephyr of course is a wild card.  I have used it a few times...and if used correctly, it is a game winner.  Anyway, that's my evaluation.  Not a lot of change.

posted a message on Top 5 Legends used by NOOBS

I really don't understand all the hate of the OP post.  He gave thoughtful and logical reasons as to why certain legendary cards are among the first to be chosen by people who are new to the game and assume that having these cards will make them winners.  It doesn't seem salty at all...  Look at the game with fresh eyes.  All of the cards he mentioned are totally attention grabbing, and if you don't have much experience with the game you would think "Dang, if I had this card I bet I could play it and clearly win more games!"  I do think Leeroy and Shudderwock would be part of this...as well as any of the deathknight cards.  I guess it falls into the category "if you have nothing constructive to say about a topic, don't say anything."  Good day.

posted a message on I AM HUNTER BAIT

Little bit frustrated here.  I have been running into Deathwalker Rexar Hunters pretty much nonstop.  9/10 games I'd say.  And I pretty much lose 8 of those.  I have tried Priest, Druid, and rogue as counters but nothing seems to work.  Once they get the hero power going, they seem to be able to create zombeasts that dine on my brain.  Anyone else running into this?  Anyone have an effective counter?

posted a message on Activision-Blizzard has gone too far with the Mega Bundle

You know what?  Those are excellent and well stated points.  I agree.  Thank you.  There has got to be a better solution than what they've got going.  Hopefully, this won't increase their revenue in the way they expect and they will have to go back to the drawing board.

Oh boy.  I don't often chime in on these things but I feel the need to on this one.  Although I'm not outraged about this little marketing package I do think it's ridiculous.  $80 is just too steep of a price to be paying for an electronic card game.  The price point is just too high and I feel that it is a barrier to entry for new players.  I feel that the skin, although I want it, is being used as bait for people to spend a butt load of money.  If they are that in need of an income stream, I would rather pay a subscription and get rid of the F2play crowd.  I realize that is an unpopular idea, but really, F2P doesn't result in any income or improvement to the game so who cares?  So...my vote is to institute a small subscription fee and keep those price points for new expansions down.  Flame away, F2P.

posted a message on Cubelock Needs To Go

Right now I see it as a rock paper scissors meta.  IN GENERAL aggro pally beats non-lock control, non-lock control beats cubelock, cubelock beats aggro pally.  There are some less significant decks out there...a lot of overused spiteful decks, horrible to play against shudderwock decks, and people trying to make hunter and warrior viable with minimal success.

My fear is that if cubelock is castrated, there will be NOTHING to counter aggro pally and we will see that braindeas deck exclusively for four months.

Although I think it would be good to nerf cubelock in some way, I dont think the solution to fix this awful meta is that simple.
