Anyone else notice that we’re getting less that 60 seconds for the late game recruiting timer? For builds with elementals or pirates it’s not nearly enough time. Even when you’re not fighting broken builds, the fights generally take longer since there are more stats on the board. Blizzard should be taking that into account. It gets even worse if you’re playing on mobile.

 So is that it? This update is "absolutely ridiculous" (your words) because you cant get over 5k and blame Rag and Jandice for it? Why is that so many other players can get higher ratings even with these evil OP heroes out there?  Top 200 starts at around 10k... how are those people able to get that rating.... mystery... they must be getting only Rag and Jandice offered... luck it must be...

Anyway, like i said, yet another frustrated person creating a thread because he cant get a better rating. (its fine tho, its what forums are for).

My argument has never been based off mine or others wins or losses or getting a certain placement. It’s based off balance issues that are reflected from hero win ratios and how devs are pushing for new content first INSTEAD of fixing the current problems that the majority of players agree are an issue.

I can see how it’s easier to argue against no one instead of actually talking about what’s been disccused, gj

Maybe that’s why they post, you’re probably right. But you even said it yourself, you’re talking about something completely different lol hence, strawman. Look up the definition if you need to.

Luckily though we have a general player consensus and stats to back my argument that the game needs balancing. So even if you make a nonapplicable statement that frustrated people post bc they can’t climb, that doesn’t make my argument any less true.

As to your argument "game needs balancing" all i am going to say is that its a very subjective thing. Its what you want out of the game (and seems like many other posters), i personally couldn't care less if one tribe is much stronger than other or one hero is stronger than other. I will play the game either way if i want to because the state of heroes and minions does not affect me being able to win and climb.

The design team is releasing new content at an impressive pace, and they do take care of blatant imbalances.

I do agree that the power level of Jandice and Rag are annoying, but not so much that it makes the game bad. After all even Rag, the most broken hero we've had in a long time, only has an average placement of 3.

Cannons were definitely pretty crazy.

And I agree, the game’s not bad at all. It’s still very fun. It’s just a better strategy for the devs to prioritize fine tuning a beta rather than quickly releasing new content and then spending an even longer time working backwards in fixing all the issues they put out.

This update is absolutely ridiculous. I know this is posted pretty much twice a day, but it really can't be stressed enough. The devs are releasing more and more broken heroes per update, balance issues are not being taken care of quickly enough, and the game is becoming more dependent on luck than ever before.  

I appreciate them fixing heroes like Hooktusk and Eudora, but having a 2 week playable period before ANOTHER hero like Jandice or Rag is released, makes it so half the time we're either waiting for issues to be fixed or actually being able to play the game at a somewhat balanced level.

That said, I don't agree with the idea that if a broken hero is in your lobby you should just shoot for top 4. If any competitive game takes away the ability to be 1st right out the gate for reasons beyond your control, the game should be considered broken. Extremely broken.

This all sucks because I love the game and doing what defenders of the dev say to do of "stop complaining and wait for the next patch" is accepting Blizzards bad style of releasing cyclical issues. You can't just leave the label Beta on a game that's been out for almost a year and continue letting the same issues go through.
