I have a similar deck. A few things I thought I would mention:

    1) You are very heavy on your equipment between Muster, Truesilver, Coghammer, and Tirion Fordling. Personally I dont like the Coghammer as much in this sort of build. Keep in mind if you keep all of these equipment that you will want more lifegain and taunt to offset the life loss you encounter. My suggestion is to cut the coghammer and add some lifegain personally.

    2) Summoning Stone, Fjola Lightbane, and Eydis Darkbane are all creatures I would consider in here as just sort of synergystic with what you are doing. I have played a lot with pally with the Lightbane / Darkbane sisters so my answer if you try to craft one or both of them is that Darkbane is the better of the two. Their size for their mana is good as a standalone and if you buff them you get great value from them. Summoning Stone is a little less certain but its a similar buff. I have definately enjoyed having the stone in my build.

    3) Add some taunt. Personally Deathlord has done work for me due to their low cost + high health. Dropping a Blessing of Might / Seal of the Champions on it does some serious work. I would also suggest looking at Sludge Belcher which is another very good taunt option to consider. Taunt will protect your HP pool as well as important minions.

Echoing Ooze felt like a trap to me personally. It might work for you, I just thought I would mention that it never really worked well for me. I also didn't like Argent Squire all that much but I also run one less Blessing of Might in my list. If you want to push as a faster deck I think the ooze and squire + Blessing of Might could do work for you. I just had less than great results with the two when I was testing them.

I am also not sure if I am sold on Equality or [card]Consecration[/card] in this list. I like the two together but on their own both cards can be a little odd. In the situation of both cards, neither of them really have that great of synergy with what you are doing with the rest of your list.

Here is my list if its of any help to you:

Through lots of testing I have watched the meta shift more to a control Meta in the last few weeks so I have compensated a few changes based on my experience with the deck. I did a few additional changes but I didn't like where they went which included trying out a single Coghammer which ended up being too heavy handed on equipment with the Truesilver Champion / Muster for BattleTirion Fordring already in list.

    Some things I noticed:

Zombie Chow is really bad against decks that aren't aggro.

Muster for Battle is easy for a lot of control decks to deal with. Warrior, Mage, and Druid all seem to have a fairly easy time with this. In general I feel like it has been doing less for me of late with the increase in control but its still good against aggro who tend to play less sweepers.

Deathlord while the potential for backfire is bad against control they still often have to play two cards to get rid of him outside of Polymorph / Assassinate effects. Against some decks like Warrior control it tends to be worse because of their low threat count. I did have a situation where I enabled a Barron Geddon because of a deathlord. Overall though he is a powerhouse against aggro and midrange tactics so it comes down a little bit to what I encounter.

Sludge Belcher oddly, its not that good against control decks. They tend to have a lot of 5+ power minions. Its really there for aggro creature matchups. While its nice it suffers from a control heavy meta and becomes less good. Deathlord is about equil in power vs aggro but costs a lot less to drop often giving me better results than the belcher.

    CHANGES:

1 Sludge Belcher -> 1Nexus-Champion Saraad: I am swapping a 5 drop for a 5 drop. The p/t change isnt much as even though Saraad has one more power it doesnt have the death trigger. As it is, I feel that Saraad gives me a little better staying power into a control matchup. Its unlikely that I get much for buff spells from it but the spells I get from it still interact well with Summoning Stone regardless.

Zombie Chow -> 1 Piloted Shredder: The chow is quite good vs aggro tactics but I am seeing less of that in general. I think the chow is an amazing card vs aggro but its miserable vs control. Aggro still exists but as it stands I am just encountering a lot more control than I am aggro which is why I am moving to a more midrange value based card. Shreader isnt terrible vs aggro but its a bit slow. I still feel that my aggro matchup is good enough to get me by with this change but Shreader gives me a robust vs removal target which might mean keeping it through a turn in case I need a buff.

posted a message on What if decks only had a minimum of 30 cards?

The question I asked as it was never mentioned increasing the number of copies you could run in a deck. It also wasnt about raising the minimum cards in a deck. I agree that in general bringing your card count up lowers consistancy but if you are a deck not trying to combo two cards its possible to still run good cards and run a 40 card deck for instance as they release more cards.

The idea of running more cards would be primarily for the standpoint of hitting fatigue later in the game. It would be to punish opposing mill decks as well as opposing fatigue decks as you would hit fatigue later. Fatigue control is a very real thing and having another 10 card draws before hitting fatigue could be a very big thing to consider.

As a whole, I suspect the answer is to keep consistency high and run 30 cards. I just thought it could make for an interesting deckbuilding concept to run more than the minimum cards in a deck. Its also possible that you reward players for running higher card counts similar to magic's Battle of Wits. You could have a card for example that does something if you still have 30 cards in your library as a battlecry or something of that sort. It would be a different angle on a Reno Jackson style of ability where he rewards for singletons or empty library you could reward for running over the maximum cards.

What size of deck would you make if the 30 card deck size became a minimum and not an exact number? Would you build bigger to plan for mill and exhaust? Its just sort of a thought I had especially if we are moving to a meta where exhaust might be more common.

posted a message on She thinks my Jackson's Sexy

I dont know if anyone else listens to county music but there is a song called "She thinks my tractor's sexy" by Kenny Chesney and suddenly that song stuck in my head with an alternative of She thinks my Jackson's sexy when I was playing hearthstone the other day.

Its really random but I thought it would be a funny parody song especially with Reno Jackson stirring things up lately.

This doesn't have a lot of discussion to be had but it was just a random thought in my head I wanted to share lol.

I have been playing with pally buffs so far. I ended up doing something like 12 and 2 I think it was yesterday with my list. Lots of it was casual games but I did go from rank 16 to rank 13 with no losses which was impressive. My two losses were casual games where I was testing the deck.

I first thought about priest as well but I actually like what pally has more so far.

    Quick Update,

I wasn't happy with Dragonkin Sorcerers in my list so I did some testing with alternatives. I did a few games with Aldor Peacekeeper in the list instead but I also found it a bit lacking for what I needed. I have found my control and midrange matchups to be favorable so far but was missing something for aggro matchups. I ended up adding Deathlord and being surprised by his effect in the deck. Lots of decks have a hard time removing him right away when dropped on curve. He has a high toughness so without using a Polymorph type effect a lot of the decks I have faced have a hard time removing him right away and often resort to higher powered minions to do it over more than one turn. Due to this he is very powerful with things like Blessing of Kings and [card]Seal of Champions[/card]. He has done a lot of work so far and really keeps some of the heat off of my important key minions in deck as well.

    LIST UPDATE:

    -2 Dragonkin Sorcerer

    +2 Deathlord

With these changes I have definitely noticed a very high winrate so far with the deck. I have mostly played casual games and on the higher parts of the ladder though as I usually don't grind ranked games much. I will see if I can get more ladder games and get more results further down the ladder.

What are your thoughts about Harrison Jones in the meta currently? It feels like I am seeing lots of pally and warrior still in what I am playing against but even then its a bit of a situational card at best. I guess the body for the mana is always decent though. Its just such a good counter to opposing pally muster.

The Black Knight might also be something to consider. Sludge Belcher is seeing TONS of play right now. I am really just kicking around other card options that might fit.

I just wanted to comment that I got the list together and played it in a few games now. I really love the list so far. I still need to test and play it more but I love the concept and how it plays.

EDIT: one of my first games was very close to a mirror match. He ran a few different cards but I ended up winning it with your list.

Thanks, I appreciate the insight. The bit about board control for the Murloc makes sense.

I am curious about the Quartermaster × 2 personally. I have been toying with the idea of playing a deck with some [card]Quartermaster[/card] and I have 2 of them but it feels like it might be drawn almost too frequently with two of them in deck. The idea of finding two of them sounds terrible too. The build I had been considering was probably just going to run a single copy but I am curious as to feedback on the two copies in deck.

I also was curious about Murloc Knight in a midrange / control build similar to this. I would be interested in some insight on why to pass them up. They seem a little bit similar to the Quartermaster in some ways but perhaps a little more random in their results but with less reliance on what you already have in play. Thanks in advance.

posted a message on Golden King Krush, does it worth keeping it?

I think it is a bit of a question of what legends you already have. If you dont have many already, there are more useful legends to have so I would DE it and spin it into one more widely used. Gold legends are cool but I personally would prioritize useful legends over pimped out narrow use ones.

posted a message on Shaman deck (controlling aggro)

Knife Juggler feels really odd in this build to be honest. I dont see a high quantity of minions or tokens to really bank off of it.

I feel like you might be pushing silence a little harder than needed as well. Earth Shock in specific seems really hit and miss on how relevant it will be.

Like you were saying, I would try to get some of the cheap draw minions in there. I also sort of prefer Spellbreaker over Ironbeak Owl just because they tend to be responsive creatures anyways its rare that I need a silence for two at the cost of a worse creature. I think the reason to run the Owl was more for aggro decks vs mage freeze which just got patched. I could be wrong though but I still have preference towards the breaker over the owl.

This card isn't in the game anymore XD

It is in the deckbuilder section for rogue and they have the change to the Hunter's Hounds already in the deckbuilder so, I am assuming you are incorrect or it would be odd to update some of the changes in the deckbuilder but not all of them.

Off topic: So I always look at your banner every time you post and I just noticed he's holding mtg cards go me lol.

It's not that it's bad it's just there's better options imo that doe an extra effect along with draw a card (shiv, novice). But who knows maybe it will be a staple in a rogue deck one day. I would play around with it if you really wanted to use it and see if it works in a rogue deck and it would work well with auctioneer.

:p well, I am a big MTG sucker and I play it quite a lot so its what I use on a MTG based site and I like spike enough to have just ported him over here as well as my sig.

I suppose I can understand that reasoning. Obviously shiv is going to be a superior combo starter but it seems like there are still valid ways and times to use the rush. I might end up getting a copy just for the fun of toying with it as it just seems solid to me offhand but thats without having a copy to toy with.

Adrenaline Rush looks really cool but I dont really see anyone using it. I was just curious as to if anyone else plays with it or if its worth it at all. It seems like a good card to throw into a combo or even to start a combo going. It seems sort of pricy to pick up but it seems really solid overall looking at it. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it so far really. I was looking to possibly start pushing as a rogue a bit more but I dont know where to start buying and it looked like a cool option to go.
