Most of the comments have delt with mage, and rightfully so. But this could also be a decent priest card. Dragonfire and then pop this on for free. Free from amber and then pop this on for free. Shadow Essence, then pop this on board for free. It likelt wont see much play for priest, but it isnt terrible.

So i will have 100 packs at the start of the expansion if all the money goes on packs. But now i think it is probably better to save some gold for arena. I think maybe 80 packs and 2000 for arena. I am prety good in  arena so i will make better value if i play arena but i want to open packs and play constructed and not only arena and 2000 gold is a lot of gold for arena only. But what do you think?

You are mostly competing between fun and efficiency . The most efficient option is 100% on arena as every arena pass will result in cheaper packs than buying the packs outright.

Only if your good at arena. If you lose a lot and average 2 wins, not so much.

BM can happen regardless of skill level, thats why squelch is your friend. It likely pisses them off to no end as well.

I've found that there are two types of people in Hearthstone: pessimists and optomists. These aren't the normal types of pessimists and optomists of course, but rather extreme. Pessimists will complain endlessly about the cards blizzard makes and point out all their flaws, missing a couple of broken interactions that will make the next meta deck some months into the future, while optomists will praise each card coming out as if it will be part of the new tier one with all classes in it, missing out on cards that blatantly provide poor value or require too much luck. If you want to know who's preordering the next expansion, then it will be the optomists as always.

I think there is at least a third, but they are very rare. Those that like the game and see the cards for what they are, a way to play and have fun. They know there is no perfect card so they are happy to get some new toys to play with. There are at least two sub categories of this type. Those that are f2p and will never buy a thing, and those who will spend something to keep up the enjoyment. The latter is likely to buy the preorder, but not always as they may have a budget and think that they have enough gold to keep up the enjoyment.

For a card to se play it needs to be broken or give you a win condition, which none of these cards (other than Duskbreaker) do.

Zola the Gorgon - same as above

I dont think Zola the Gorgon is a meme card. She is certainly not broken, or anything alike. However, she is one the cards which provide great value, if your opponet does not played around her properly.
This card might be enough to revive Quest Rouge.

posted a message on Is Dragon Priest getting that much better with Duskbreaker?1 or 2 copies? (Is Historian nerfed a little with 2 class dragons?)

I think Duskbreaker is a solid card for Dragon priest. The three damage to all minions will be deadly to agro decks.

posted a message on No, Expansions are Not Rotating to Wild When Kobolds Hits - How Set Rotations Work in Hearthstone

No, unless the card rotates out as part of the hall of fame, and isnt a basic card. You can still dust cards rotated out, but it will be at the normal dust value for the card.
The question I have is, how does anyone expect to ever play wild if they dust cards rotated out? The simple answer is they will never be able to play wild. Add to that they will lose the ability to play them in tavern brawls and special features like the one added with TFT. To me, its just not worth it.

I am on the fence, but will likely preorder next week. I have a sinking feeling we have not seen the broken cards yet, and what I have seen has given me ideas that will either make strong decks, or a few of mine better. I will have about 8k gold by release, but 130+ packs with the pre release would get me most of the cards worth playing, and/or enable me to fill in some legendaries I want from Classic and Ungoro.

The text should have said "If your opponent takes two turns, take a second turn if you survive endless 0 mana fireballs to the face".

This thread likely predates the revel of the 7 mana 3/3 deathrattle card.

Kind of slow but interesting card. Make the only deathrattle card in your deck Kathrena Winterwisp. Play neutral minions and large beasts. This dies or you have a deathrattle activator and you pull out any of the large beasts.

Is it just me or is Blizzard pushing Big Decks as the true theme of the Expansion?  Big Druid and Big Priest are buffed, and potentially now Big Hunter, Big Warrior, Big Mage, and Big Shaman will be a thing....

I thought they were pushing the Rouge quest back into the meta.

    Why are you justifying incompetence?

Well, I didn't so there's that. What I did do was justify not being total trash lords when this reveal has already gone extremely well on average.
If we were to give Blizzard a grade based on successfully revealed cards, they'd have gotten an A- (12/13 cards in two days, roughly 93% success rate).
I mean, do you only accept 100% success rates?
Mmmm... it seems that you are nothing else than a fanboy. But I have some news for you mr. fanboy: Blizzard doesn't give a shit about you and your life. So, instead of trying to justify the stupidity of a company that doesn't care about your existence at all, I will try to do something else with my spare time if I were you.
To me it just seems like you can't stand positivity.
You got to remember, they likely pay real cash for cards. Dont you know spending money lets you act like an idiot and other idiots will join in.

Go out to the bar, have a few beers, and come back tomorrow to look for the card. One card revel will not make that much of a difference in the long run.

That's a very funny thing to say in a children's card game fan site, where a lot of the playerbase are underage.

Maybe, but the principle is still good no matter the age. Get out from in front of a website and go do something you enjoy.
