It takes a considerable amount of time reaching the 100 gold cap and most players don't ever experience it. Just because the game doesn't reward you infinitely for farming wins doesn't make their statement about respecting a players time less true. I'd argue, if their was no daily cap, but you had to win 30+ games / day just to be able to stay competitive as f2p, it'd be a worse model than the current regarding "respecting a player's time".
The 10 gold per 3 wins is a very inefficient way to earn currency and you do not have to max out every day to build a collection. You can earn much more gold per time unit by completing quests or doing arenas. The daily quests are "almost" enough to keep a f2p player afloat, which seems fair to me.

Armorsmith: "I'ma major fit" (side note she sounds like an orc but looks like a human)
Rexxar: "I hunt a loan"
SI 7 Agent: "Disguised Toast" classic
Trade Prince: several similar versions but "Where's Mike Catt" (any rugby fans out there?) or "Where's Mike at" Or "Where's my cat"
Theres probably more but i can't think of them at the moment
Edit: Oh Healbot: "back from the Junk Keep" maybe he just lives in a really bad castle

With the teaser for the next announcement being the 22nd and the general consensus its going to be something to do with the Argent Crusade. I had the idea of trying to do my own fantasy patch notes for Hearthstone 3.0 The Argent Crusade in the style of a real set of patch notes that blizzard might do. Obviously this is only fantasy but I wanted to have some fun.
here goes...
Patch 3.0: The Argent Crusade
With more and more super villains of the Warcraft universe playing (cheating at) hearthstone in an attempt rule the world Tirion Fordring has decided to try and bring together the forces of the Alliance and the Horde to find the best hearthstone heroes to take on these villains. To do so he has set up a tournament and set of trials to determine who is the rightful champion to take on the vile scum who threaten our hearthstone way of life will their overpowered cards and cheating. Will you be one of those champions?
New Feature
The Argent Tournament: A new tournament mode will feature daily scheduled tournament with entry fees which can be paid for with gold and/or real money and will have in-game rewards such as packs, gold and dust.
The entry fees and format of the tournament will vary from tournament to tournament. The prizes with scale with the total prize pool.
The further you go in a tournament the bigger the prize. Don’t worry if you don’t make it very far all entrants will get something for their troubles.
You will also be able to set up custom tournaments to play with you friends.
New Mini-Adventure
Take on the 2 wings and 8 bosses of the Crusaders Colosseum in the Trial of the Champions and the Trial of the Crusader. Face Enemies like the Black Knight and one of Wilfred Fizzlebang’s mighty demons.
New Hero Skins.
Warlock- Be the master summoner himself… Wilfred Fizzlebang!
Paladin - Turalyon returns at last! Will we every find out what happened to him and Alleria… I doubt it.
Priest - Tyrande Wisperwind. She’s just upset we made her leave her bow at home.
New Card Set - Argent Crusade
A new 100 card Argent Crusade and Northrend themed set with all new Undead card type and fun new mechanics. Some old cards will such as Zombie Chow and Flesheating Ghoul will be classified as Undead
Balance Changes.
Dr Boom is now a 7/5.
Boom Bot now reads “Deathrattle: Deal 1-3 damage to a random enemy.”
We felt Dr Boom was too much value and had too much potential for big swings for a 7 mana minion and this cause him to be mandatory in most decks.
Big Game Hunter and Hemet Nessingwary have had their Battlecry effects swapped.
We felt Big Game Hunters effect was too efficient and easy to use for a 3 mana minion and Hemet’s was too weak. This should bring their effects more in line with their mana cost while keeping the themes of each card relevant.
Grim Patron has had it mana cost increase to 6. This card was too easy to combo with other cards that often created a very strong board presence with the opponent feeling they were unable to affect the situation. This type of non-interactive gameplay is something we want to avoid.
Warsong Commander now reads “All friendly minions with 3 or less attack have charge.” This change prevents very heavily buffed attacks that started at 3 or below from dealing large amounts of burst. But will now allow Minions already on the board before Warsong Commander to acquire charge.
Mad Scientist now reads “Deathrattle: Put a secret from your deck into your hand, it cost (3) less.”
Bug Fixes.
Norzdomu’s Time reduction will only start once all opponents animations from last turn have played out. A player could exploit a looping system such as a reduced mana cost Youthful Brewmaster returning another Brewmaster over and over to prevent the opponent having a turn.
(This next change wouldn’t be necessary if the above balance change ever happened)
Mad Scientists that are destroyed due to a battlecry effect will not have their deathrattle resolve until the summon completes. This makes Mad Scientist consistent with other similar minions with deathrattle such as Sylvanas Windrunner. Mirror Entity for example will no longer come into play and copy the minion that destroyed the Mad Scientist
Text changes.
Druid of the Claw now reads “Choose One: Transform into a 4/4 minion with Charge or 4/6 minion with Taunt." This makes it consistent with Druid of the Flame and no longer is confusing to new players who expect it to work the same Ancient of War.
Molten Giant Now reads “Cost (1) less for each point of damage taken below maximum health” This should make it clear its not for each time you take damage.
what do people think?

Ever since its inception Patron warrior has topped all the meta lists out there as the strongest deck week after week. This isn't a L2P issue, you can only play around something so much. Simple fact is patron + all self harm effects warriors can do = broken.

It's clearly Medivh but your reasoning for never having Kael because hes a super villain is flawed. Gul'dan would be right at the top of the food chain of supervillans and Garrosh is hardly getting on the front cover of Nicey Goodguy Monthly magazine.

The feathers on the shoulders of the mage do look like Medivh for sure. The shape of the bow is throwing me a little bit for the hunter. Does the shape have any similarities to any of the candidates bows in WoW or other media? I'd guess and hope for Alleria based on that silhouette. I really want to have some throw back to Warcraft 2 and before. Maybe we get Turalyon as the paladin now that would be old school. Still would beg the question... What happened to those two after The Expedition and destruction of Draenor?

Not true. South sea deckhand has a condtional charge effect. Currently warsong commander specially states "give", it could be changed to say has/have and apply only under those conditions.

Magic is definitely a more indepth game. Has more complexity which is good in one way but can be confusing in another.
DotP does help make the game more accessible but isnt nearly as easy to get into as HS or as simple to play on mobile devices. I played DotP on my iPad and it's not bad but pvp on that its terrible and no ladder to speak of.
Magic is definitely better played live with friends but the cost of cards is huge and then you need folders to keep them nice and card sleeves and then there's a set ever couple of months then there's about 10 different formats and standard is always updating. Simply put you will spend lots of money on it. I played Magic and stopped because of how expensive it was. I do play DotP since that is a fixed cost way of playing magic but it's not nearly as good as a computer game as HS. Also it's annoying they have to bring a new ogame out each year rather than just updating it.
i prefer HS cause it's simpler to get into yet you need skill to master IT. And is a lot cheaper.

Depends which was played first I think. If Creeper first then Avenge. The deathrattle will go off on the Creeper then the Avenge will trigger. If the other way around the Avenge would "want" to trigger but won't since no target then the deathrattle on the creeper activates leaving you with 2 1/1s and Avenge still up.
I could be wrong though as I don't recall ever seeing this interaction,
