DeafKnight posted a message on Control lock is the most brain dead busted control deck everPosted in: General DiscussionWarlock removal and disruption is the whole point of the archetype and is supposed to be like that.
Seriously, if your deck can't win if it loses one or two key cards then the problem is your deck, not the opponent.
There's an old proverb about eggs and baskets that applies quite nicely here... -

Dakhrok posted a message on Balance Changes Coming Next Week - Mage, Paladin, Rogue & NeutralPosted in: NewsI don't know man, Tickatus just getting his face smashed by every other aggro or tempo deck.
It sure can be efficient against control decks, but at least it has it's weakness.
Lunacy on the other hand has basically no counter. It should have been nerfed yesterday, not nex week, ridiculous...

thazud posted a message on Magnetize on full boardPosted in: General DiscussionI've always hated these "I was not aware of this interaction and I lost because of it, so it is stupid" threads.
It makes perfect sense. The definition of magnetic, as Suchti352 also states, is: "Play this to the left of a Mech to fuse them together!" and you can't play more than 7 minions. Learn your mechanics and stop whining.

MexRNG posted a message on Spelling LessonPosted in: RogueThis reminds me of when I played Civ a lot and people would always talk about things like ‘tile boni’ or ‘civ boni’ and I was like “WTF is boni?”. And the I realised they were meaning bonuses. I’m like “FFS the plural of bonus is bonuses stop trying to sound smart and using boni. Not everything that ends ‘us’ pluralises to ‘i’ ”. I dont normally get too grammar nazi over things but that one really annoyed me.
Ah they do that in Eu4/Ck2/Hoi4 too. I had to go on wiki just to see if thats is how its spelled. Turns out not.

I would imagine that this is to do with the free core set.
Also I think duplicate protection doesn’t link between golden and non-golden. I could wrong.

Warning Unpopular Opinion incoming!
I think pen flinger is very overrated.
Sure he’s good in rogue (and at a pinch paladin).
He’s better at high level play. But I see too many people waste whole turns pinging and wasting spells just to use him.
I honestly love seeing people use him because they just waste mana rather than doing something more productive.
I very rarely feel I lost a game because “OMG pen Flinger OP, NEEEERRRFFF”

True but the difference is power level. No minion mage has a much higher win rate and is played at 20+% at all levels compared to max 10% for control Warlock.
I would argue that control decks aren’t being played not because of Warlock which is a hard counter of course but because the other control decks aren’t good enough to counter mage and paladin.
True that when those get nerfed warlock could rise and ruin control decks but I believe aggro will keep warlock in check. We shall see.

Warlock really isn’t that bad. Sure it can be frustrating to play against. Disruption is always frustrating to play against. There’s a reason people dislike playing against Blue in MTG.
Disruption is Warlocks thing.
Control warlock is (by hsreplays stats) about 51% win rate, that’s bottom of tier 2. Sure you have to take any stats with a pinch of salt. But I hardly see any Control warlock compared to say Mage and Paladin at the moment. Aggro eats if for breakfast.
Don’t equate frustrating to play against and over powered. They are not the same thing.

Doesn’t work like that, Blizzard will not know how long each mobile App Store take to approve admissions. They just release the patch when it’s ready.
3
How have you not figured out how mobile App Stores do their own checks for content, age appropriateness and malware and the releases aren’t direct controlled by Blizzard?

Blington isn’t exactly reliable. This is one sided and costs just 1 mana and has a great upside when looking for top decks after Aluneth gets you closer to the end of the deck.

Closest thing to a MTG artifact. Scry is really interesting.
1
Being able to have some control over your draw is huge. Bad top deck put it on the bottom hope for something better. Decent draw keep it. There’s a reason why Scry in MTG is such a strong mechanic

Destroy the thing with spellburst before it can spellburst, ok then. Kappa.
