and also want to add: i see where blizzard going with cathrena and big hunter idea. They're not interested in cheap successful class, they're trying to put hunter deck in 9-12k dust range.
Guess what? Never happens with such terribad epics!
the point is that this crap printed in time when hunter realy needs:
1) competitive cards
2) cards with interesting effect/new mechanics (especialy in epic slot) like even unplayed druid cards like Fatespinner is interesting at least. Giant Anaconda actualy does see play in big druid.
Like compare the fucking condition "if you're holding a dragon" (this is the dumbest condition ever, it's not even something that can fail ever in dragon deck) in Duskbreaker - clear your opponent's early board
and this unreal restriction - if your deck has no minions and NO GOOD REMOVALS - summon 2 companions that cost 3 for 3x2=6 mana. With the only benefit being in one card.
Dont tell me this bullshit may be somehow justified.
this card is both boring and shit. You know why Crackling Razormaw is so cool to play? because it gives you options, gives you feeling of strategic descision.
This card - is just a waste of a card slot.
This card might be barely justified if only hunter's legendary bow somehow gain profit of spell mana cost. And even then. Why just don't make some good removal without random element, like all other crap hunter has.
I bet this is worse design than any fan-made hunter cards on this site. The lifecycle of this card is also limited due to that no-minion condition. Even If some day that spell deck will work for few months, then immediately after it falls into the dumpster, this card will be useless, cuz it has so specific application.
it's not universal, it's not interesting, it's not giving you options - how worse could it be?
if they highroll with barnes and then ressurect big minion for 4 mana, its basicaly over. The deck relies on barnes and highrolls then wins nothing to be sad about
the spellstone is actualy crazy in ideal scenarios, especialy vs rogue. Rogue can't deal with 3 separate bodies with 3 hp efficiently, especialy if you baked that up with traps.
My concern with spellstones is that to upgrade you should keep them in starting hand, which kinda hurts. but in ideal scenario (cloacked huntress, 2 secrets, spellstone and professional topdecks you can actualy just faceroll nearly ANY opponent.
Without Duskbreaker a lot of classes just screwed against 4 and even 3 wolves + traps on battlefield
TLDR - spellstones might fail completely. But the hunter one seems best honestly (i'm not hyping my class, i actualy play rogue, despite nickname)))
Yup. New Hunter legendary weapon will be a 10 mana 3/3 with summon a 2/2 beast on every third attack.
Hunter Legendaries are always OP.
Name 1 good hunter legendary in the game that’s actually worth playing in a hunter deck.
Swamp King Dred is decent believe it or not, especialy before Bonemare was introduced. 7 mana for a very huge guy is acceptable, it's not 8 or 9 drop. If you're not playing face variant, but rather DK hunter, he is pretty good adition. I'm running it on rank 5+
the card is actualy pretty good. Recruit is pretty valuable for big dragons (ysera or malygos), if you didn't manage to draw heavy dragon from your deck by the time this played.
4 hp is not so easy to remove, without ultimate aoe like Psychic Scream or Twisting Nether it's kinda hard to deal with. With this card you can put 2 must-kill targets on board simultaneously.
The card actualy seems like REAL GOOD. I think people underrate it a lot, i'll keep an eye on it.
Also, this card kinda good afterPsychic Scream, cuz you can put dragons shuffled to your decks back on board again.
I think this will be auto-include in decks with heavy dragons if there will be any. At least 1 copy....

you can use Dread Corsair and Kingsbane +double Deadly Poison with 2x Fal'dorei Strider in regular miracle rogue
I think that will be the general application for weapon and strider in new meta
