Decks like galakrond shaman are designed to deal with early pressure. The idea of this deck is to high roll against decks that can't deal with early pressure consistently. I'm not sure if this was to critique the author's "14-2" winrate, or just to say that you had a bad time with the deck. I'd recommend a flamewaker version in wild if you want to try this deck again---that would give you the feeling of having at least one turn of control when you throw down your flamewaker + sorc apprentice + spells.
There already are decks like this in wild that revolve around flamewaker + cheap spells for a combo turn. They're pretty fun, you should try one. (they're not the best decks out there right now, but they're still loads of fun)
The deck was updated after Sk3tchpaper's post, so the deck creator might have made some changes based on the suggestion since there are cards like Scarab Egg & Serpent Egg, as well as cards that synergize with them like Grim Rally included on the list.
People have a tendency to be drawn toward negative outliers, so it's best to focus on gameplay and trust that your decision making will carry you to legend.
Odds are, you've probably hit more walls at ranks other than 1 from legend, but dont notice because it's not... 1 win from legend. Odds are you've broken those "tougher" barriers without even noticing. Your mindset is going to cause a mental block which may tilt you in winnable games to not weigh options properly, or make non-optimal decisions.
Change your mindset, dont worry about the rank. You've been almost legend so many times, you're obviously basically a legend calliber player. Focusing on hitting legend is just subjective. Focus on your own gameplay and legend will come with it.
This is the same mentality advice I've given Lol players who get close to diamond, but cant quite push through their series. It works.
I analyzed your comment for about 3 minutes trying to figure out why it has 4 dislikes and I came up with nothin. It is literally an observation of what happened... I feel like the blizzard balance team staring at reckless experimenter when they were designing SN1P-SN4P.
Blizzard is probably going to be putting out stronger rogue spells from now on with the preparation nerf, since when you compare the rogue spells to other classes, they're weaker on average outside of cards like backstab, sap, eviscerate, which were already in most rogue decks.

Mind Control Tech could be a good cut for that since you'll be including a more consistent option with Cathedral Gargoyle

Who's hating on Dragonrider Talritha? That card is sweet

If you put the Galakrond package into an aggro deck, then you're not very good at making aggro decks.

Guys it's 2019, omega cards deal 10 with no combo piece required for half as much mana and stronger stats than these legendaries.
