I don't care about any of those i just want cards man
I can say with 100% certainty that anyone up voting this comment is a white male, like me.
It's very hard to do, but I encourage anyone reading this to really imagine experiencing something like harassment or racism, and then you can be just a little bit less selfish, for the betterment of all.
Wow... I'm grateful there are people like you. Just came here to see the comments and all of them were like: "We don't care about women experiencing harassment in their work place, we want cards :P". And also making fun of the decision Alliestrasza made: "Guess who's not getting a card reveal the next expasion hehehehehe".
It's upsetting. A girl related to blizzard just killed herself because of this (and many of them have been harassed) and people just care about a f****** card being delayed for 1 day, JESUS.
Of course the trial has yet to take place, but many of you are being so selfish.
I think it is because playing against priest feels non interactive and unfun. This questline supports this "solo play" where the priest only needs to play on curve to win the game while they clean the board and heal themself.
So I think that's the reason, not the card itself, because it's too slow and can be countered with tickatus, mutanus, celestial...
Luck is everywhere in this life. I think about this specially when a I'm playing control warlock vs other control warlock, usually the one who draws Tikatus first and luckily burn their Jaraxxus win. So you are depending on draw properly which is 100% RNG. If you draw well and your enemy doesn't, you can win easily.
But luck doesn't automatically win games ALL THE TIME. In the same example, imagine the enemy doesn't keep Jaraxxus in their mulligan and you burn it with Tikatus. They just played wrong so in that case they lost cause they played bad, not because of luck.
Most of druid's decks are an example of luck. Playing token druid, if you draw luckily you can make an extreme strong turn 1/2 or 3, making you win the game, but that doesn't happend all the time, otherwise that'll be OP, so it's a bad design.
I swear Tickatus has completely ruined Control Vs Control. In a match up where every card matters and fatigue plays a crucial part in winning or losing, the fact that there's a card that can burn your deck with zero counterplay (at least in Standard) is insane. My opponent was able to play 4 copies of Tickatus due to Felosophy and Y'Shaarj, the Defiler for a grand total of 20 burned cards. I understand ControlLock isnt meta and neither is Tickatus but the fact that one card can shutdown and entire archetype is ridiculous.
I can understand what you are saying, but control warlock is not meta right now and Tickatus is only relevant in control match ups. That's why it's not op but probably toxic, as well as Illucia can be a toxic card. Also you have tools to try to beat him:
1. The 4 mana pirate 5/5 can get you Tickatus or Jaraxxus. If you are unlucky, you are forcing your opponent to draw 2 cards if you play her twice, accelerating their fatigue. And you can get more copies with the 0 mana spell, deal 3 damage to yourself to get 2 friendly minions that died in your hand. Warlock use to have +9 cards in hand specially at early/midgame against priest, you can also mill some cards with her.
2. Zul'jin can throw Tickatus or Y'shaarj from their hand, specially if they played de 5 mana 3/3 taunt divine shield, making sure it's on their hand. This is not hard because most of warlock cards are spells.
I can understand is a hard match up to face, but that's how the game works. It's like being no minion mage against hunter aggro. You have no healing so possibly they will crush you. Primordial druid or celestial use to destroy warlock. Each deck has good and bad match ups and that's something will never change, if you are only facing warlocks, change your deck.
It's about they were OP, they were unfun and frustating to play against. Also, if they buff them again, I'm sure paladin will find a way to introduce them in their deck and be more toxic KEKW
I think they should do something. How can Paladin have a lot of different meta decks (aggro, secrets, midrange, libram...) even after 2/3 weeks of nerfs while other classes are invisible or only have 1 meta deck that can barely beat aggro.
The mini set could make the meta different, let's hope so.

Only 8 cards revealed at the day before the full mini set releases? lol

I really like this concept.
Cards like this: ((4 mana 4/4 If you've cast 4 arcane spells, cast "Arcane missiles" twice)) would be awesome.

It's a meme deck but also in this meta full aggro tempo decks like this can't shine.
