I played like 10 games, 8 out 10 where like: A player playing like 15 cards in 1 turn, drawing their entire deck by turn 6 and then killing you with an OTK you can't counter lmao!
Time ago I've read people saying that, if you start an arena and play it until you have 2/3 defeats, when the new expasion comes out they'll give you a free ticket and also the rewards of that arena run, is that true?
I'm sure we won't get legendary quests. I assume that they think the tavern rewards gives us enough "start" rewards.
Also, they give like 4 packs with drops in twitch (usually during theorycrafting, where they already gave us 2 packs, and other 2 the days after the expansion is out).
No. Cards that summon random things can only summon cards that are in the collection. For instance, if a card says: Summon a 4-cost mana minion, this can summon Kargath Bladefist but you can't summon Kargath Prime with a card that summons 8-cost mana minions.
I think it's safe to craft this day one. I'm sure it'll get nerfed, 3 spells instead of 2 in any stage or something like that. Just saw streamers playing this and doing +20 damage average in a single turn when they have 8/10 mana... And it was by only using standard cards, I can't imagine what this quest can do with Baku and other spells in wild.
"20€ became: - 20 Packs (or 2000 Gold aka a mini expansion) - In the shop, 20 packs are worth approximately 25€. - a lot(!) of hero skins - The value of this is personal. If you like the skins and you don't care about the money-gold value you earn you'll buy the tavern pass anyway. - a coin skin - Same. - a free legendary (Varian) -On average, it needs 20 packs to get 1 legendary: 25€"
So, you are paying 20€ for something you'll need to pay 50€ in terms of money-gold. Also, this difference can be even bigger depeding on the time you spend in the game, the more you play, the more profit you'll get. There are people that reach lvl 300, even 400, imagine the value they are getting with the tavern pass...
In my opinion: 1) Do you like the skins? If so, it's worth it. 2) Do you play a lot (not only quests and 4 games per day)? If so, It's worth it.
"Spell Damage is an ability which boosts the overall damage of spells by the listed amount". So, each spell have its base damage + the possible spell damage increased by other cards that have been played. If you lose the resource that gives you spell damage, you lose it.
So base damage and spell damage are clearly separated. It'll add 1 more damage to the base version.
It is a very cool card, but I really doubt that it will be "meta" since its strength is in confusing the opponent into making bad decisions during their mulligan, but... 1) The decisions of the mulligan in the current meta decks usually doesn't care about the opponent, they look for X specific cards all the time and that's all, having a fairly low real impact this effect. 2) You do not decide what other class you are: For example, today I have played 10 games and I have faced: 3 druids, 3 hunters, 2 shamans and 2 rogues. If suddenly my opponent is a paladin or some other class that is not currently being played much, you can predict that it is from the effect of this card. 3) Rogue will reveal this secret on the first or second turn.
So... It's cool? Yeah. The effect is good enough to reserve 1 spot for this card? I don't think so... specially for rogue.
I think they'll add more cards in order to support X cards drawn in 1 turn. Also, the "tradeable" keyword draws a card, which can be helpful for 1 remaining draw you need to complete 1 step of the quest for example.
At least, Glide is not useful in the OTK DH, it can be counterproductive so let's see.
I notice that people focus on the last reward. The firsts rewards can be also strong, in this quest 9 (1) mana discounts can be powerful, we all know that mana cheating have always been a strong mechanic in hearthstone (octopus, incarner flow, guldan skull...).

Patch notes says they'll still give XP until 3rd August but people tested and they no longer give XP.

As far as I know you can't play the new cards until the expasion is out. Only streamers with a special account that blizz gives to them can do this.
The only thing you can do before the expasion is out is opening the packs in Fireside (usually 2 or 3 days before).

Rerolled it for a 1080 XP Sadge
