Builder_Bob posted a message on Is anyone else pissed about Classic cards moving to Wild?Posted in: General DiscussionI am super happy with their decision to preserve the cards instead of nerfing them! Opens up possibilities going forward.
I was fine with Rag and the gang staying in Standard, but it was obvious they were going to keep tuning Classic this year as well. Seeing them rotate was the lesser of two evils. Refunding dust and letting us keep the cards in Wild as well was a nice touch.

CheckMyDoubles posted a message on Best Advice to give Newbies. Do not spend money on this game.Posted in: General DiscussionI don't get this elitism with the F2P model. If people don't spent money on this game, it will cease to exist.
Think of the countless hours spent playing it compared to other games and the cost is pretty manageable. It's like because something is labeled as F2P the thought of actually spending money on and supporting the game becomes insulting to a lot of players.
I've spent a lot of money on Hearthstone and I don't regret any of it. The game provides hours of entertainment, more so than a new $60 game that I might play for a few hours before I get bored of it (What's the average length of a lot of new releases, maybe 10 hours). It sounds like you don't really enjoy the game anymore, OP. That's fine, but you clearly did at one point and have more than earned that $500 back by the hours you've played. You shouldn't encourage new players to not support something just because you became bored of it.

DeadlyKittenMtl posted a message on Why get rid of ability to buy old packs & adventures?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from Kunigunde53 >>Quote from DeadlyKittenMtl >>They need to remove the packs from the store to avoid help desk problems. As noted earlier, Blizzard will have a lot calls if they leave them in the store. There are tons of beginner guides out there recommending that new players buy GvG to build cheap mech decks. New players might follow those instructions and ignore UI warnings.
They could create a new separate store interface later for Wild packs, if collectors insist upon vaporizing their money collecting virtual cards. A deck consists of 30 cards; you do not need the entire set to build one. The bulk of the dust cost of most decks is in epics and Legendaries. Buying packs to get specific epics and Legendaries is not efficient.
This argument is nonsense, they could put it into a category called "Old Stuff" and put a big warning message on it and put naxx and GVG...They said they will re-release Naxx somehow. It's not just UI and customer support issues. They can track what people are doing, and they probably lose a lot of new players when they are confronted with all the packs in the store. If there were 20 different types of packs on sale, even if they are labelled "old stuff", they know they will have a lot of people immediately giving up and un-installing. My guess is that if they do start selling GvG again, the packs will be hidden from new accounts. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Blizzard will problably nerf the pirates in the end of this month, since they are in 50% of all decks

I played PW without patches and it's not te same, activating cultist is much harder without one simple pirate
