    posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition - Season 5 Feedback

    I don't have really much to say to improve the competition, after I managed to get an FAQ up for the beginners of WDC and this part of the forum (I'm not sure if people read it though).

    But one thing I would want to have is to ban cards that simply would cause a major issue within the game itself. I know already a handfull of "Deathrattle: Discover a card" were banned, but I have seen cards that forces your opponent to interact on your turn (despite that it's somewhat of known to actually crash the client), or cards like Eavesdropper who we had a pretty large argument about, because it gave you an advantage beyond the game itself, while forcing people to use headphones or turn up the volume of the device they play HS on (if they would play it, that is). This is of course, not acceptable (for me personally), as Hearthstone is a TCG, and not an FPS. Yet it managed to win.

    (Open for criticism on suggestion)

     It's the art of Pot of Greed, a Yu-Gi-Oh! card with the same effect as Arcane Intellect.
    I'm almost positive he was joking.
     No joke, never played yugioh. But I understand the joke now. It'd be like if someone swapped counterfit coin's art for black lotus.
    Actually, I disagree on that one. Counterfeit Coin is more similar to Lotus Petal, and Innervate is more likely similar to Black Lotus. And for funsies, Lion's Eye Diamond is a weaker Astral Communion.

    It is likely going to be released around August. I myself think it is likely something about Dalaran or Kirin Tor, but we have to wait and see.

    I personally think that the rager needs to cost (4), as Divine Shield is worth around (1) mana (compare Wisp to Argent Squire).

    And About the traffic on this thread: The main reason that you do get less traffic than before is likely because of the fact that you update the forum on a daily basis. And while that's not a problem in itself, I highly recommend you to take a break (like about a week or two) during the summer. This way you could prepare some new ideas and maybe let people view the thread. The only problem is that the thread could be "consumed" by other threads. Alternatively, you could use Reddit and show off your cards at r/customhearthstone.

    Finally, some single-target removal for Paladin! Despite it's high cost and it's (somewhat of) difficult conditions for getting it to a lower cost, this can be abused with the Paladin Hero Power (Reinforce) and mainly with the Silver Hand Recruits, but it's cost reduction only holds for one turn, so you must build up a board if you want to use it cheap!

    Unbreakable Spirit: the main problem of this card is likely that you can increase it's attack, making it as 3/1 weapon (with Naga Corsair. Also you might change the wording to: "Has always 1 Durability." for simplicity reasons.
    Gnomosize: As much as cool this card is, it can be very good in some cases, but sometimes problematic, especially getting an Gadgetzan Auctioneer. But otherwise, no problems with this one.
    Robbie Rotten: Well played, you managed to get a meme through despite the restriction.
