So seeking some advice on crafting what would be considered Tier 3 / 4 legendaries...I have enough dust for two and enjoy off-meta and OTK'ish decks, have to choose between

King Togwaggle & Azalina combo, mill druid and mill warlock seem interesting and fun although I'm a bit reluctant to craft both of these.  Would craft one if I won the other but have neither at the moment.

Woecleaver & possibly Rotface: Leaning towards just crafting Woecleaver here as Rotface doesn't seem essential.  Main interest here is the Samerebro OTK deck that uses Grommash and sudden genesis. Maybe use the remaining dust to craft Frosh Lich which I've been putting off for a while.

Jungle Giants & Ixlid: stupidly dusted Jungle Giants a while back, this deck also looks fun

Generally enjoy playing Warrior more than Druid which is another factor.  Any advice would be appreciated.

If we're talking junk otks then it has to be Exodia paladin! :D

Exodia Pally is pretty fun, been playing it in Standard for a while.  It's surprising how often you can pull it off.

Warlock hero power otk with 96 dmg to face 100% sure. not like quest otk warrior where you can hit wrong enemy with 1k dmg..xd

Can I see your deck? Haven't come across this before...

It is wild deck xd like controllock... You have like nzoth and dk...need 2 faceless, 2 portals, 2 (dont know name but double dmg of HP) and emparor wich is needed to discount 2 cards from that combo or 3 cards if you will using 3 mana prince like i do. With him you wil have 96 dm and without him 48 which is still otk xd. I use him because almost every time combo is completed i dont have deck sou i use 3 mana cards without any problem xD dont have list but i can photo deck from mobile :)

Ps: try to use dk before N'zoth...

     Ah interesting, thank you :)

posted a message on Have you guys ever regretted disenchanting a card?

Yup.  I dusted Jungle Giants and Awaken the Makers during K&C when it seemed Quests were pretty much done.  Normally I'm good in that regard so it was definitely a stupid error in judgment on my part. Awaken I didn't really enjoy but I had fun with Jungle Giants and love playing around with OTK decks so certainly regret it now.

Does anyone know if Samerebro's deck is still viable? Don't have the weapon but have thought about crafting it.  Always loved sudden genesis for some reason and the idea of an OTK with Grommash and sudden sounds like a lot of fun.

No gloom stag? Not sure if that's summoned by Hadronox or not...

I did respond to what you wrote - the main part of my response was commenting on your expectation of future value.  It's not that it's not easy - it's actually impossible. You cannot predict the future value of legendaries as we don't know which cards will be released in future expansions.  It's an absurd condition for the Tier list that lacks common sense.  I do think you have a point regarding moving a card suddenly up two spots, perhaps it should be moved up one spot for a while and then if winrates and usage continue to climb the card gets moved up accordingly.

The weapon IS trash. I've had it in my Spell deck from the very beginning, and not once has it won me the game. Every single win I had was due the rest of the deck.

We'll have to agree to disagree.  Like Al'Akir I would personally rank it as Tier 2, but I've won lots of games with Rhok.  I've found refilling my hand when it's down to 1 or 2 cards extremely useful.

Funny to see some discussion about Al'Akir.

I have him and last time i've seen him played regularly in a decent deck is like 2 years ago when shaman still was a decent class.
I didn't own him back then and when i would ask if i should craft him people still struggled to say yes.

Right now i truly struggle with this "there is a deck thats using him" reasoning to put a card in a higher tier.
Legendary Tier list should advise people what to do on expected future value, not just todays value and i regularly see this "he is used in this or that deck which is performing decent right now".
To me that just isn't good reasoning to move certain cards to a higher tier.

No clue what is going on with Rhok'delar right now either, haven't been playing him a lot, but after release he was even kicked from the spell hunter that was created because of him.
The card just wasn't good enough and i wonder if he currently is what is carrying the spell hunter.

But more surprisingly, the 2 new Paladin legendaries.
I've been wondering about them ever since release.
They have been top tier and i hardly ever see them played.
Worse even, i've seen them played right after release, but outside of brawl with random generation i can't say i've seen them used.
I just checked stats on hsreplay and i'm even more surprised....
What are they doing at the top of the tier list?
Glass Knight has a play and winrate that should probably make it Tier4 at best.
Liam might be tricky as his stats might look a lot like DK Rexxar who i always thought wasn't as terrible a card as his played winrate suggested, more because it often was a hail mary play that could turn a lost game into another win.
I however think Liam isn't nearly as good as DK Rexxar was back then.
With the nerfs odd Pally might become better, but before the nerfs it was even Pally that was clearly the better deck, hence you didn't really need to craft him to play Paladin.

This "Tier list" seems to have transformed into a "HYPE list".
Any card that is used in some pro streamer's fun deck ends up being bumped because that streamers deck won some games at high level.
Odds are in a month the card is back in the pits of oblivion and i think Al'Akir will be one of those.

Just ask yourself the question, did those top tier cards see play in recent tournaments?
I checked America's summer playoff and didn't see Liam once....
Would you really advice a new player on a budget to dump the little amount of dust he has into that card as a long term value?
    I hope you won't....

    TL'DR
The tier list used to be a great reliable source for decision making, but this one turned into a hype list.

Oh boy.  Where to start with this post. How exactly is the list supposed to incorporate 'expected future value'? Incorporating future value is a pretty ridiculous expectation given that value will always change when new cards and decks come out with each new expansion.  Furthermore you're contradicting yourself - if your think the main criteria should be future value then Classic legendaries should always rank fairly highly - as they will always have at least some value by virtue of the fact that they never rotate out of standard.
Sure, the list isn't always perfect but it's data driven and I've found it extremely helpful from the day I came across this site. To dismiss it as a 'hype list' simply because it doesn't match your unrealistic expectations is silly.

Look mate, this is your list and I respect it. I will also admit, that I don't follow any statistics.

But if someone comes for a crafting advice, they can mistakenly take some of the tier 1,2 and 3 legendaries as good cards with high potential. I mean, I would never put Hagatha or Hadronox (?!) in the same category as King Mukla. A veteran would know how to evaluate the usefulness of those cards, but newer player would become confused. I would also never recommend someone to craft the following legendaries you put so high:

    - Rhok'delar - I'm not a hunter player and I don't speak from first experience, but for me this weapon and its deck are really slow. Dunno for wild, but every time I played against it as control warlock, I had the feeling that the hunter just gave me the needed time to react. And imagine how an aggro deck feels, when they play against it. Also - I don't like cards with a super narrowed application. Imho a newer player would be better off with something more practical.

    - Al'Akir - My only issue is how his popularity is only temporary. This is one of those legendaries which comes and goes. I have seen Al'Akir being tier 2 before and I remember how you explained yourself, that he was a nice tech option in any mid-range decks. But this was long time ago - back in Un'Goro, when (token) shaman was still a thing.

You may have a point regarding Al'Akir, I'd argue he's Tier 2 at the moment but it's just my opinion.  SlydE is looking at the data which, presumably, is objective.
As for Rhok'delar, I am very happy this has made it to Tier 1.  I won this in my pre-order of K&C and had a lot of fun with this deck, I don't find it slow at all.  It's a unique and somewhat strange deck but To My Side and Rhok are both fun and effective cards.  The win percentage has surprised people from the start (I recall everyone thinking the weapon and deck were pure trash on this forum) and continues to climb.

It appears Quest Priest is making a bit of a return, and the most popular deck as as comparable winrate to Quest Warrior.  IMO it should be Tier 3 at this point.

But all that said, I am surprised I am actually having to try and explain to prople why Cta is such a good card. There’s a reason it is currently billed as one of the strongest cards in the game.

It's shocking how many people in this thread, and in the other CtA thread, are going on and on about "well who would play 5 mana for 3 1 drops hur dur".

I would say the best outcome would be

    2 x Gravelsnout Knight + 1 x Righteous Protector (or vice versa)

Or, if you have a few secrets in hand and have the mana to play one, or more,

    2 x Secretkeeper + 1 Righteous
