Seagull0 posted a message on The Rap God Returns - "ARTHAS" July 31, 2017Posted in: NewsHere's what I imagine went through Brode's mind when he decided to announce this: "Hmm, community might get upset that we haven't (or couldn't) reveal any more cards yet, I think it should help calm things down and give the community something to be excited about, it's the least I could do for them"
Community's reaction: "You idiot! Why are you wasting time on this instead of showing us more cards???"
I believe there's a phrase that says "the common man's a fool" (refering to the community).

Untaken_Username posted a message on Ben Brode on Design Space, Game Design, Adventures, and FeedbackPosted in: NewsAt least these 'adventures' will still have some gain for us, as apposed to being some flavour add-ons. Free packs!
And from the way Brode was talking it certainly sounds like the adventure is going to be more than 'some shitty missions'. For example they have a 'team' working on it, and it will also be releasing 'alongside' the expansion as apposed to 'with' or 'in addition to'. That second one might be stretching a bit but still, it seems promising.
And as for Adventures being 'f2p friendly' as a f2p player I found it the other way around. Sure it was easier to get Emperor Thaurissan than it would be to craft a legendary, but at the same time the amount of commons like Tomb Pillager or Blackwing Corruptor that were integral to certain archetypes and also extremely expensive really ruined the game for me. It's definitely easier to buy a pack than to spend 3500 gold on a common.

tmoneyswaggg posted a message on New Card Revealed: Crackling RazormawPosted in: NewsBetter than Trogg Beastrager because having a beast on the board is easier than having one in hand. Especially considering beasts summoned from spells can be adapted but not buffed in the hand. Hunter Auto-Include.

ShadowsOfSense posted a message on New Card Revealed: Crystalline OraclePosted in: NewsQuote from steamedmilk >>Before anyone asks Shifting Shade - So it costs less helping the priest legendary quest, isn't played on turn 4 where a 3 health minion trades really badly and has elemental tag which we assume will be useful this expansion.
Why would you ever play shifting shade now which is why I view this as power creep. Will it be played? Hard to say with so many cards left to reveal but it is definitely better than Shifting Shade.
Power Creep is when a card is strictly better than another, except possibly in extremely fringe cases. Tar Creeper, for example, power creeps Am'gam Rager, as it is always better except in fringe cases, like against The Black Knight.Shifting Shade is a 4 mana 4/3. It can, for example, take out a Tomb Pillager or Blackwing Corruptor (both rotating, but you get the idea), whereas this 1 mana 1/1 can't. I can imagine playing both cards in a Deathrattle Priest deck.I get that power creep is a thing that is happening in the game, but we really shouldn't just start using it for everything. I could call every card an Aggro card if I wanted to, wouldn't make it true. -

24 hour time is quickly becoming the global standard, you should probably learn it, it's not difficult.

1. They're only adding 25 new ranks for new players, not 50.
2. Low ranks are very fast to rank through, especially with winstreaks, it should take a few hours on average.

MicroSD cards are cheap these days, you should get one.

Rogue spells have to be overcosted because prep is still in standard, it's as simple as that.

"I don't think Rogues can fit this in their decks atm"
People always seem to forget every single set release that new archetypes are a thing pretty frequently. Evaluating cards as though the meta won't change at all has always made people look stupid.

Congratulations, this is one of the worst threads on this hellsite. No, conceding has never been poor sportsmanship. Yes, there is sometimes a delay on conceding when the game processes queued actions. Yes, you're a moron for thinking people concede more now than they used to based on literally no evidence.
