posted a message on Paladin 55.1% WR Warrior 42.8%

You want to win? Pick Paladin.
You want to lose? Pick Warrior.

Warrior is massively weaker than any other class in Wild atm. Their stronger archetype, called Pirate Warrior (tier 3 on vs) is absolutely nothing special anymore and Patches post-nerf is questionable as its impact seems subpar nowadays.

Paladin on the other hand, is broken on every card. Call to Arms will still be played as: it thins your deck, it lowers your chance of bad draw, it combos with Knife Juggler and many buffs are easier to play because you have too many threats at once (Quarter, Lvl up, Tarim have tons of targets).

Expect Paladin to still roll on the wild meta for years to come if Blizzard doesn't aggressively nerf Legendaries (Crystal Core in recent time, then nothing?).

Tarim is probably stronger in wild than in standard and by far, by far the best legendary. To put it into perspective:

_A full board of giant is worth 5/5 + 6x8/8 right?  so 53/53 worth of stats.
Tarim is able to put all of this to 21/21. It means he can do 32 damage the turn he is played!!!

_A full board of Silver hand recruit is worth 7/7 but 6/6 to allow Tarim to be played.
the 6/6 then transform into 18/18 + a 3/7 that will need 3 hits to be removed!!!

Tarim is so strong at 6 that in the best scenario, he's worth 20 mana (2x C'thun).

If people don't realize this card put Dr. Boom into the trashcan...

Paladin needs a lot of nerfs and call to arms at 5 is a big joke from greedy blizzard not wanting to nerf legendaries.

(source: hsreplay.net for the winrate %)

Keleseth Zoo is tier 3, with a turn 2 Keleseth it can snowball out of control.

Other Zoo are tier 4-5, not "top competitive" but very much playable.

Zoo is amazing because this is the most diverse archetype (Egg Void Terror Zoo, Standard Zoo, Flood Zoo with Gormok, Buff Zoo with Blood Fury, Keleseth Zoo, Glinda Keleseth Zoo...).

In an ideal world, there are 50 archetypes in tier 1 lol.

posted a message on Glinda Crowskin potentially broken card

    Hi guys!

So after having crafted Glinda Crowskin, I tried a fatigue Reno version with Jaraxxus and Guldan as seen on hsreplay.net (deck has only 200 games played and only 50% winrate, but that might skyrocket after the nerfs).

Concept is simple: after the fatigue state when no threat is on the board, play Glinda, then 2x Baleful Banker both on Glinda and on Baleful.
What that means is, you will always outfatigue your opponent, as you'll have two cards every two turns in your deck, and an infinite 3/7 and 2x 2/2 on the board.

I also tried the New Era Giantlock, which is at 10 health turn 6, Glinda +7 Molten Giant. If the opponent can't answer, it's a win in two turns.

If the meta gets back to Reno in the near future, this might be problematic, like Rin.

I crafted Glinda Crowskin because I love the concept.

Also mark my word, this card will become brokenly OP in wild.

Renolock is far stronger than both and a potential mid tier2 alongside odd pally, yeah still that good.

Also Reno Hunter is actually very good in wild now.

If you don't care about it, then among your choices Reno Priest is better.

    The source is hsreplay.net

I already said what Im going to say right now a couple times in a different threads but I couldnt help myself to not answer all these statements that people above me made. You clearly have no clue how the eternal formats are working. If we take as an example Magic the Gathering, then experienced players clearly know what I'm talking about. Some decks are OP here for YEARS. I'll repeat myself: YEARS. Nerfs won't solve anything. DId Raza and Patches nerf changed the decks that are on the top? No. They eliminated 1 archetype which is OTK Reno Priest thats has changed now to Tier 2 Reno Control Priest but thats all. Besides that there was 0 affection on the Wild. @MrDrVlox How can you talk about Wild meta if you don't consider any Paladin deck to be a Tier 1 while putting a Quest Rogue here? Really? Where did all Call to Arms varriations of Paladins went? Where is the Giantlock? Where is the Big Priest? Where is Inner Fire Priest? Where are Aviana+Kun Druids? Where is Aluneth Mage? Where is Even Shaman? Where are(arguably) some Reno decks? These decks mentioned are definitelly not Tier 2 decks and Quest Rogue is definitelly not tier 1 deck in Wild. That deck is at the bottom of Tier 2 at best. The only part where I agree with you is that Cubelock is Tier 1 deck. If you want Wild meta to be changed, just be patient and wait for another expansion. We already see a new powerfull and skill testing decks poping up as the new expansion are added to the Wild cardpool. And don't cry that your completely non-viable meme deck is not working. because it won't wotk even against deck that are in Standart. You need to be self-aware and know that If you take your lets say Quest Handbuff C'Thun Paladin to ladder, you will most likely loose to any deck that is not Tier 7. Just learn how to build your decks to make them at least Tier 3 and don't call decks that you are losing to cancer. Im getting tired of this. Stop whining, and git gud.

While I agree with you, you can't deny a huge pool of the wild card are just garbage tier and a select few are godlike, when I look at hsreplay.net to get an idea of which card/ deck work and what doesn't in aggro, the same cards are in every decks (Glacial shards, Dire wolf, Juggler, ).

I think most people - myself included - want card which allows AT LEAST a fair winrate, 50% and above. Very, very few cards allow that actually.

posted a message on Need to Nerf Aggro Paladin

Paly has so many broken stuff - be it in Wild or Standard:
Call to Arms (should cost 6)
Divine Favor (you can potentially draw 9 for 3 mana what the heck???)
Mysterious Challenger (still op, not broken)
Shielded Minibot (a 2/2 turn 2 with shield... with no silence it's worth 4/2..)
Muster for Battle (card is worth 4 mana imo)
Sun Keeper Tarim (should cost 8)
Baku power (2x 1/1 are too sticky, prepare for a quartermaster turn 5)

So basically everything from paly is op, 55.2% winrate in hsreplay.net on average on wild (42% for warrior...).

posted a message on Power creep from the past 3 expansions: Greedier devs?

Hi guys I mostly play Wild (but I'm fine with both mode) and I realized that for the past 3 expansions - Knight of the Frozen Throne, Kobolds & Catacombs, and The Witchwood, the power creep is off the chart: many archetypes that were once not only interesting, but viable (C'thun, Reno, Quest) are completely slaughtered by the new 3 sets.

First example: Genn Greymane / Raza the Chained
Genn still allows for more consistency through a copy of non legendary cards, and the hero power cost 1 right at the start of the game. Shadowreaper Anduin costing 8 makes it playable with Genn.

Have a look at the hsreplay.net deck usage/ statistics: the odd/ even archetypes have a very high winrate on average.

Apart from Sunkeeper Tarim and Spiritsinger Umbra, almost no legendaries from Un'Goro are used. Not even talking to prior expansions linked with wild, where almost no legendaries are played anymore.

It seems to me devs want to force wild player to actually spend more than standard player through powercreeping so hard.

Witchwood/ K&C / Frozen Throne on the other hand? Almost all of the legendaries are useful if not must-have in some specific decks. Remember when GvG was only about Boom? Yeah it sucked for that, but at the same time made the game much more affordable.

Not only that, but 3 expansions a year instead of 2 + 1 adventure with playable cards, that's really greedy.

Thanks for reading, in the end I'm like you, a simple player, so try to understand my frustration.

posted a message on Let's make Odd Shaman work!

    Hi!
I copy pasted your deck in decktracker (got like 100+) but imo there's a lack of card draw. Put a Mana Totem at least imo.

Also two Thunderbluff valiant may do something in this Baku deck. There's too many overload in this deck.

You should remove 2x Master of Ceremonies, the card is just terrible. Put 2 Totem Golem instead.

2x Volcano against aggro seems good also.

All in all solid base, I like it. The elemental is a good idea. One is enough because you should remove some overload cards anyway.

    2 draws: 1x Jeeves / The Curator
For Warlock I would say it's fine, but for Hunter?
With the AOE heavy meta in wild, imho at least, you would need more card draws.

posted a message on Got 2525 dust: what to craft?

Well still gratz on legends, I just reached rank 5 yesterday and am satisfied for the golden epic so now it's time to play weird decks lol.

And I'm not talking about how to play cube, you reached legend which is already great. I am just saying even in wild is Skull core in cube. And more and more list include Godfrey in cube, giants, and reno. Seems Godfrey will become core too.

Let me tell you something that saddens me: the power level of wild isn't crazy anymore.

Most of the standard cards are so powerful wild decks are just standard decks + the strongest wild cards of the past (muster, mc, mad scientists, rarely boom, rarely thaurissan).

It's sad that wild needs to buy almost as many pack as a standard player to get viable decks (50% winrate and above).

C'thun decks for example completely disappeared. The only veryyyy rare occasion you might see it is with Druid & Shudderwock Shaman.

Tons of archetypes of the past are simply dead. I don't know if Bobby Kotick (actibli ceo)  & Blizzard stockholders are becoming greedy as hell but wild is not wild anymore: it's standard + a very few old broken cards.

Aviana and Kun allows you to play almost any Combo Druid deck. Shudderwock will always be really good no matter what.

All the epics that you have mentioned are really good and it really depends on what decks you want to focus on first. If In was you I would craft Vilespine and Epics for Spiteful decks first

Shudderwock in itself is the card with one of the strongest winrate both in wild and in standard, and with stronger battlecry it can only go up.
The problem is, I still lack some good neutral legendaries, which are cards that are historically allowing for more decks.

My objective is rather simple: having access to every card/ deck. I have a preference for Warlock, but I enjoy every class as long as the deck is fun with an above average winrate (not necessarily "legend" worthy as I'm mostly a rank 10-5 player, but something that doesn't flat out sucks).

The problem again, is Keleseth is core in Spiteful decks, so If I craft Shudderwock, I won't be able to play spiteful any time soon.

On the other hand, owning every jade card + gumble allows me to play every shudderwock decks.

What would you do because I'm lost lol.

If you want to focus on your favourite class- Warlock then I would craft legendaries in this order: Godfrey, Zola or Keleseth and then Skull. My personal opinion about Skull is kinda negative. We are talking about a Wild format here and in Wild there are already Voidcallers which are better than Skull. I had no problem playing a Cubelock or Demonlock with a insane winrate without Skulls with this 4 drop around.

I am saving for Godfrey now.

And btw, Skull improves the winrate on every cube deck as seen on hsreplay. it has a high winrate by itself, coupled with taldaram, 2x voidcallers, and umbra.

You actually need all of the pieces to get the optimized cube deck, skull doesn't seem to be optional actually.
