@Hematyt I really like your post. I also think that most of the answers are not related to it.
The main topic of this post was not a debate about religion, war, Jesus and what happened during old wars.
The main topic was to inform people from a State (Russia), that "was" part of this community, that things are not going exactly as they think.
Russia is exactly not very related to free speech and freedom therefore I think that a post like this one is appreciated, at least to inform what is happening. I am not saying that freedom is low in Russia but the World Bank is saying it. Russia is far below the average of the World with the indicator "Freedom of opinion and expression is effectively guaranteed" (https://govdata360.worldbank.org/indicators/h87ed6018?country=RUS&indicator=27900&viz=line_chart&years=2013,2020).
Russia is also now outside the business of Blizzard due to what they are doing (https://www.pcmag.com/news/activizion-blizzard-epic-games-halt-sales-in-russia) Blizzard has taken a stand against it.
What is happening is terrible and I think it is correct to inform people. Even though this is not exactly the place for doing it, due to censorship, this is also a good place, at least to inform Hearthstone fans.

I guess it's a matter of tastes but I rather to play more value oriented versions with Nexus, Confessor, Elise and value generation cards. At least games don't feel the same each time and for me it's a funnier experience. This combo versions feel so boring after a while.

Apart from this MMR debate - been playing for 5 days now and this is brutal. I have always fairly easily reached rank 5 previously and thought I would try to make legend for the classic legendary this season.
Raced up to gold 5 easily and thought this was great at first. Now stuck at Platinum 5 which already feels like the previous rank 5 to legend grind (ie one win, one loss and getting nowhere). This could be due to this meta not being for me, or just not being great at any of the current top decks but as I’ve said I’ve never really had issues hitting 5 before (have hit legendary on one occasion).
Not sure if I will continue playing ranked further as this has been an incredibly frustrating and boring experience pretty much as soon as I hit Platinum 5 and lost my stars. Frankly I think this new system is a steaming pile of dog shit.

I feel like I have to react to this. From my perspective I can no longer have fun on ladder. For past months I almost didn't play ladder, I was just focusing on BG. But when I tried this stupid new ladder system, I only face people with Legend cardbacks, full golden decks, golden heroes. I didn't play that much last year, yet I face emoting tryhards now. Can someone explain? I mean I play Hearthstone since 2014 and I have so far 2 golden heroes and King Anduin. I have same bad experience in Standard and Wild. I don't think keeping the winrate of everyone to 50% is a good move. I mean this system makes sense on like bronze / silver, but then it should be just the rank and not some stupid MMR.
Seems like new players are more important that players playing for 5+ years... Thanks Blizzard

This post may give me like 10 penalty points (which is worst than german sanctions put on russia) or maybe ban - I don't care. We don't like politics in games. But this thing, I belive goes far beyond being a democrat or republican, pro-life or abortionist, traditionalist or LBGQT enthusiast. It's about pure evil that shakes this world nowadays. But to the point:
Vladimir Putin is lying to you. What you see in your TV is pure propaganda. Russia invaded Ukraine - there are no fasist or nazist in this country. It was only a pretext to start the war. It's not a "special operation" or "freedom mission".
Ukraine defends herself bravely.
Your troops are dying in thousands (around 12000 deaths at the moment of writing this post). They're short on food and fuel. And your soldiers commit terrible warcrimes:
1. They're bombing/shelling residential areas, hospitals and schools. Today they bombed children hospital in Mariupol and it's not the only one. Hospital stuff, mothers and newborn babies died.
2. They're killling civilians and children. They're bombing and they are puting mines in humanitarian corridors. There are pictures of a whole family killed on the streets. Pictures of parents crying above their 11 months old son's body. Film of russian tank destroying a civilan car with elder couple in it. A recorded phone call of a soldier calling his girlfriend and telling her how he stole a tv-set and kitchen blender and how he and his squad killed a group of unarmed civilans. In a forest with bags on their heads.
3. Your soldiers are plundering shops and homes. They are raping women. In Cherson they raped 11 women , 6 of them died. The youngest was 17 years old.
Because of the sanctions put on your country Russia will be bancrupt till May. Please open your eyes.

My opinion - Never cared less. Blizzard wants to make HS look like a serious game - they hire an old chess champion and they make him play with a streamer (whose on their payroll).

Tempo DH is good for climb (hit legend with it) though bad loose streaks happen. Murloc pally is a decent choice. If you like to play some underdog decks boar hunter is also not bad in my opinion.
Just please don't play rez priest ;P

Well I lost 3 times in a row on diamond 6 to highlander mage. Guess the fourth match - highlander. After loosing 3 times i have the same mmr as those guys? Blizzard f...ork you. I want the old system back.
